This is a pretty cool concept, and it's executed pretty well! I would have liked to see more reasons to put the cat to sleep, like maybe you want it to lie on a button or something while the duck goes off on its own, or something else idk.
But as it is, it's a really solid game that nails what it's trying to do. =)
Your game is adorable. I already fell in love with its charm from the Honk and Honk, but louder buttons in the menu.
Art and music fits together, enjoy the game mechanics, it's very unique and interesting, well done! Edit: Also love the quacking
Quacking good game. Some questionable narrative choices here and there (why is a cat following a ghostly rubber duck? Why does quacking make the cat fall asleep? Why is flying bacon lethal to the cat?) but overall a cute, funny experience!
Hi! I wanted to challenge myself in this game jam so I tried making a game without a concrete story. Of course I've got my own version of the story inside my head, but I wanted to make every player think of a different story. Thank you for your feedback! Btw, I reviewed your game a couple of days ago, super cool!
this was super cute! enjoyed the little extra details like the honk louder button
Something about the music and the black pixelated cat feel really good and relaxing.
wish there are more need to use the honk button.
Really cool game, a nice mechanic. I like the art and music and it's an interesting take on the theme
