Great feeling when drifting ma friend, just gotta get some good music and it'll be a great game

never saw a car trick "puzzle" game before. cool idea. it would be better if you tell how many stars you currently have in a level before you complete it

Great game. The car controls are spot on and the idea is cool. I enjoyed playing it a lot. Keep up the good work :)

What a clever idea! It's super easy to understand, it feels great and the visuals are crystal clear, too. I like how you expand on the idea with different camera angles and new challenges (as in that level with green circle on a screenshot). It's one of the best entries I've seen, and I am certainly eager to see more. My only critique could be a rough difficulty spike on that same green circle level.

Amazing drift power! Had a lot of fun with this one!

The drifting feels so good -- y'all absolutely nailed it!

I do wish there had been more of an "easy" tutorial on what the green rings do. As it stands, the first green ring is only accessible after you pull off a pretty advanced drift. Be on the lookout for other little level-design-difficulty-scaling gotchas there. I would definitely encourage you to get a round of concerted playtests (besides this jam) where your players record themselves playing and provide spoken feedback as they play -- I think y'all could learn a lot from such a process, and really get some excellent insight into your game that you could use to polish it to a gleaming shine.

Great work all around! Keep it up!

Very fun game to play.

The game was really fun to play. I really like the concept and I think you executed it very well. The graphics and the sound effects are nice. I think it would be cool if there was also some background music.

This game is really neat, I really like it! Very cool concept and its very well executed. All of the little details and polish really add up in this game, and I really like having a timer making a game where you have a score! Really great game, good job!

Had a lot of fun with the drifting, cool main gimmick! Pretty addicting and got me to play it for quite a while.

Very fun game! Spent more time playing your game then most! The difficulty ramped up fast, but that wasn't a bad thing. Well done!

Very interesting drifting game, I like the concept and the level design. I wish the car was a bit easier to control, but that's just me and I know it should be out of control :D...overall a great submission, congrats!

Great concept and super slick execution! The graphics are also very nicely fitting the game. Well done!

Awesome game! I really like how the controls are (keyboard), you can control the car very well when is not out of control of course ;) I find the camera on level 3 a bit odd, also I love the darker scenarios.

Good work!

I loved this game! If there was a way to keep your tire tracks each time you replay, that'd be really cool, because you could see a build up of every mistake you've made along the way.

Amazing job!

Great idea and great execution, this was super fun!

This is super cool! The controls feel frantic without being impossible to control. Fun idea and probably the best take on "you can only control the player in certain areas" mechanic that I've seen so far in the jam. Nice work!

This is the first five-star rating I've given. Firstly, I think the car handling is absolutely spot-on. The steering has the perfect sensitivity and snappiness, the acceleration is just right, the fact that the car cannot spin out is just genius, and the polish with the skid marks and smoke effects are the icing on the slightly mixed metaphor.

The concept is really clever. I especially like the fact that not only do you lose control when leaving radio range but that the car carries on with whatever you were doing when you lost control. I imagine that gives the game a high skill ceiling.

I really wish the game had some kind of tutorial or how-to-play screen though, and generally that it explained itself better. I got stuck on the first level that included the green (or maybe yellow; I'm a bit colourblind) radio tower and the blocked-off exit. I found it really fun figuring out how to get around the first corner, but I sort of assumed the green radio tower would open a door or something. When it did nothing, I was a bit confused and couldn't continue. The lack of self-explanation also means that the first level gives the wrong impression somewhat. I was trying to drift around the towers in an arc like in the GIF on the itch page, and was a little confused that I was seemingly getting more stars by just driving in a straight line. I think that the second level is a much stronger introduction, since it almost forces you to realise that you can only control the car when near a radio tower.

I also think that making the game seemingly controller-only may limit your audience (if that's not the case and I just couldn't find the PC controls then diseregard this comment).  And, although it wasn't a problem for me, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the fixed camera angles (mainly the ones that faced towards the car) led to some confusion as to which in-game direction corresponded to which controller direction too. I don't think a follow-camera would be good for this game, but a more objective, functional fixed camera may be better, at least as an option for those who need it.

Like I said though, this is the best game I've seen so far, and I would absolutely love to play a more finished version. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this made it into the top 20. Well done on getting so much done in so little time, and good luck with future projects!

Thank you for this very heart-warming comment, I really mean it. I'm glad you appreciated the concept of the game and the execution.

As for the tutorial, it's definitely something the game lacks of. I regret not being able to implement on-screen controls and some slight tutorial before the end of the jam. Also, we should have removed the need to press a key to activate the green circle. You should be able to play with the keyboard as well. Unfortunately, you can only use arrow key and not WASD, because we forgot to add it.  In my opinion, the game is a bit better with a controller.

Thanks again! I hope we will be able to deliver a "more finished" version of the game that you can enjoy even more!

This is incredible. I love the idea in all its details. The fact that the car doesn't just go straight outside of the circles but it keeps the last controls it had is amazing. The game itself is very well polished and juicy. I haven't given many full 5 stars, but this is one of those. Great job!
