Right, so, nice version of the "Out of controll" theme, I hate large swarms of bugs with a passion so making my skin crawl is a positive here. One thing: make the game over thing with the changing life shorter. Me trying to get a highscore is slightly smashed by having to wait 30 seconds every time I fail.
That's a good idea. The ending was one of the last things I added, so I didn't think about making it skippable to return to the action faster. Thanks for playing and the feedback! =)
Super fun clicker! The SFX and the ending made me laugh so hard! Great job!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing! =)
Fun little game, but could definitely do with a bit more variety. Maybe different types of bugs that move in different ways?
Nice sound effects too though lol
Yeah, that's a pretty good idea that I would have loved to implement, but limited time will do that haha.
I literally added the sound effects 10 minutes before the submission time, so I'm glad they got in at all LMAO
next time we should combine our two games into one :0
🤔🤔🤔
Fits the theme with its setting, but not really with gameplay. It's a fun game and the presentation was nice. Made me laugh at the end. 😄
Yeah, I would have liked to add more to the game to increase the chaos, but limited time and all that. Thanks for playing! =)
Hey, It works and it made me laugh, so good job!
I was kind of disappointed when I couldn't continue with my new life. It would have been so cool to change to something entirely different.
I wanted to imply that every time you move, you just end up in the same situation, but I kinda left it unclear and just hoped people got the joke haha. But yeah, adding new elements for different attempts would have been pretty cool. Thanks for playing! =)
Unfortunately this game reminded me of an apartment I had the displeasure of living in once upon a time. But nevertheless, a simple yet fun quick game, well done!
Oh no! I hope your new life across the country is better! Thanks for playing!
Reminded me a lot of the good old days I used to play Wario Ware. My favorite videogame used to look a lot like this so it was really cool to see this game.
Thanks for playing! I don't think I was actively going for a Wario Ware style, but maybe I was subconsciously inspired haha.
what a joke lol , the part where you say "start a new life" and its all the same over again , very basic , good effort XD
Do think about adding some coins , power ups maybe jokes if possible :) good luck
Haha I'm glad someone picked up on that.
I did actually plan on adding some tower defense elements like placeable items & upgrades, but I didn't have the time to implement them.
Thanks for playing! =)
If you did everything yourself, this is really impressive for someone new to Unity! Creating something that has a beginning, some playable bits, and an end is such a huge achievement alone. While I agree with someone else that said there isn't that much to the game overall, what you have here works, has sound, a narrative, animation, etc and that's fantastic. It brought me back to playing mario paint for the SNES, which had a similar mini game where you slapped flies I think, and it was great. Keep on keeping on!
Oh, I didn't mean to imply that this was my first foray into Unity. I've worked with it a bit previously, so I have a general idea of how to do stuff. I just meant that I'm still fairly inexperienced with it, so some simple things took me a bit more time than I would have liked to figure out and get working (namely by having to watch tutorials).
I'm glad you liked it, though! =)
A love the end, just perfect!
Thanks! Glad you liked it! =)
The end screen hit me in a really good way :)
Haha I'm glad it tickled your fancy. =)
I like the score counter lighting up, other than that there really isn't much to this game. The "lore" is quite funny though.
Yeah, I would have liked to have implemented more depth, but oh well, game jam. The score counter is probably my favorite part haha. I really liked how it turned out.
Simplistic yet fun. While it wasn't long until I moving to the other side of the country I enjoyed it while it lasted. Good job overall.
Thanks! =)
I hope your new home is less beseiged by bugs.
Life changing experience, now I live in a different country with a different name so the feds don't question me about burning my wife's boyfriend's house.
You should've used png of a real cockroach for the memes. Overall, it's a fun little game!
Thanks! I hope you stay hidden.
Before I made the roach sprite, I was actually using the Knight from Hollow Knight as a placeholder haha.
It's very simple, true. But it's also really funny :D
Aay, I'm glad you liked it. =)
