Music was awesome in my opinion! Ship was hard to control but that was the point. Still, it felt pretty satisfying to swing about while shooting.

How does your game fit the theme?
'Out of control' lead me to think of ships flying through space, completely at the whim of the forces around them
Did your team create the art for this game during the 48 hour time slot?
We used pre-existing art

Nice idea, but it's quite difficult to keep both ships on screen. I was expecting them to have auto pilot, and that I just needed to make sure I didn't crash into the other ship. It was also difficult to shoot astroids, because the ship is pretty 'out of control'.
Classic top down shooter with a pretty interesting swapping mechanic that had me constantly darting back and forth between ships. Glad you added a practice mode because I struggled to get going initially because I am bad at games. Excellent submission!
I love the art and the music. Great job in setting up the atmosphere of your game. A little bit of polish and some balancing would do wonders. Great job. :)
Btw check out my game and tell me your views yeah? :)
Cool concept with well executed mechanics. The art style also fits the game pretty well. Good job. :)
Fun and challenging game! There are some cool switching ideas here and the sprite art is great! Congrats on submitting a unique game to the jam, please check out my game if you haven't :D it is half a space topdown shooter~
I like the core mechanic of not being able to stop flying towards the cursor, I thought that part worked pretty well! I do wish the second ship came in a little more gently. I pretty much just focused on keeping them both off the bottom of the screen once the second ship appeared. Also the game over music is very loud compared to the game music and is pretty unpleasant to listen to.
I think I would really like this game, but there are two things that kinda kept me from really being able to progress: 1.) because the mouse is both used for moving the player and aiming, it's really tough to actually hit an astroid, and NOT run into it, as you'll be dashing towards it. 2.) I expected the second ship to already be there when I started, and just slowly go down, but it spawned in way later, and fell down like a literal brick, lol. I almost didn't see it, it went so fast. I tried to keep them both in the air, but it felt impossible. I'd recommend making them fall down slower and starting with both ships on the screen at once. I'd also recommend making the movment use WASD/arrow keys and the aiming use the mouse. Other than that I think the game has a lot of potential, I can see this being developed further into interesting levels, even with some puzzle elements, where you constantly switch between the two ships. Good job on this entry!
Great concept and execution! The controls felt really smooth and nice to play with. The game is tough, but I enjoyed myself!
This one is challenging , hope i can make it to wave 3
Art and music creates a good mood for the game :) excellent job
Introducing the second ship turns the game from Asteroids into a juggling simulator real fast, haha. You really can't focus on anything except keeping both ships from falling constantly. I think it would be interesting to have the second ship follow or orbit you but also take damage, that way you can keep trying to shoot stuff with both ships, but at higher risk of running into things. Just a thought. Nice art, music, and effects though!
