Cute !
Maybe I didn't understand something, but once I reach a stress level it seems like the coffee doesn't work anymore, also the SNES controller kind of lock me into place pretty much guaranteeing that the Boss will see me. And for the Boss, once you get aggro, I wasnt able to lose aggro from them.
The art is cute, the concept is cool, but maybe a easier first level could've helped to get the grasp of the mechanics.

Thank you for taking the time to play the game and leave feedback!
The SNES controller intends to lock you in place, as you "get immersed on playing" for a while. It is supposed to be a bigger stress relief, but with this risk, recquiring proper planning.
When the boss catches you or your empty workspace, you must get back to work as soon as possible, and when you get back on your workstation, you relieve some stress and he goes back to patrol.
I did not have the time to make a proper tutorial, apart from the tutorial screen, and I undertand such mechanics may have turned out hard to learn on the fly. This was specially difficult with the "Transcend Language" diversifier.
It is surely a future improve point. Thank you for stating your experience!
This game is amazingly charming, from the wonderful pixel art to the fantastic tracks and sound design. A lot of people took a more literal approach with your boss making you on edge at work, but I think this was one of the best gameplay takes on it. I had a blast sneaking in my SNES time and sneaking off to coffee up while my boss was oblivious. I'm really glad I looked at the screenshots, because initially I thought it was just the one level. I know you were trying to use the transcend language diversifier and your icons make sense looking back, but I just hit the home menu the first time not realizing there were even more levels to enjoy.
The animations are great and that losing it and attacking the boss is brutal! Who knew a few cute pixels could be so devastating!
Super unique entry. A blast to play and an awesome solo dev jam submission. Great work.,
I'm a big fan of classic Metal Gear so getting to see that stealth like gameplay put in a more action oriented scenario while still including the jingle when you fail (oh yeah, I heard it :P) was cool to see. Not sure why but looks like only coffee calmed me down but only while the boss had not realized I was not at my desk or has spotted me. It felt like it was pretty much game over soon as the boss go near you.
Also, I think I got him stuck for a bit while I played games :P
Thank you for playing and leaving your feedback!
It might have turned out confusing because of the lack of text (trying to achieve the Transcend Language diversifier), but when the boss spots you relaxing or your empty workstation, you have to get back to work as soon as possible, and this also relieves some stress.
Thank you for reporting yout experience, I'll investigate after the jam voting is closed :)
Oh I really like this mechanic! It took me a few to tries each round to figure out the bosses pattern and how to best move around to avoid him but, I really enjoyed figuring it out. Played much longer than I do most jam games (trying to get those 3 stars!). Nice Job! Very Fun :)
Took me a while to figure out how to play, so the first level seemed very hard. There was also a level where I survived only drinking coffee^^
Very fun and well done game :)
Really fun game! Absolutely love the concept, easiest 5/5 on theme I've seen so far on the jam!
The gameplay is really satisfying, and everything is communicated super well. Great work!
Nice concept and implementation. The sound and animation fits very well, have that 80s feel that is so crunchy.
I like how you are at the edge of a stress attack and the game communicates very well what I have to do. Well done!
really cool game loved the idea and the concept of you bieng on the edge of stress and the boss AI is really well made good job loved it!
Nice art and animations. Very fun stealth game. Liking the small details like showing where the boss is walking to. Would suggest adding something to show cooldowns on coffee and gaming.
Really fun game, it certainly kept me on edge when playing so you absolutely nailed the theme there. I did find a couple of times you and the boss would get stuck in the walls when he was chasing you but other than that had a great time playing. Nice work!
Very good game! is challenging and it has a very unique personality! Also the graphics and music were good! Well done!
Really fun. I like the mood. Animation/Particles are a good feedback and self-explaining. The music is a little bit upsetting. The game is simple but challenging. Well done.
Very nice concept! Graphics and sound are very good. The game is challenging, overall a great implementation of the idea. Good job
Nice game.
On pretty much all of the levels there are two relaxing things but only one of them is actually viable to do if you want to win.
Very fun and nice game!
It definitely got nice visuals and music. The core gameplay became really clear after the first level. The game has a nice order of levels, and some levels (especially if you wish to gain all 3 stars) can be difficult. It is really good at making you memorize the path of the boss. It felt nice when the music was changing.
Personally, I would have liked the increase in difficulty (for example, maybe you could add more managers and make their path less predictable, but that is just a quick idea).
Overall, the game is really nice and it made me complete it from start to finish (it was addicting, one might even say).
I really enjoyed the vibe of the game and it's a really cool take on the theme& limitation! However it's really hard, well, I couldn't figure out how to pass the first level. I ended up just sitting at the coffee mug or the game controller spamming E and that got me through the whole game.
Neat concept , too hard for me.
Very intuitive game! Although a bit challenging at the start, it got easier the more I played. I love the small details that help make the game easier to digest like the indicators as to where the boss would be going or looking. Big Ups to you for a job well done!
Fun little game! I found it a little too hard perhaps to manage the stress levels but ended up with 2/3 stars at the end so I can't have been too bad.
While going through the help I wasn't too sure what everything meant with the lack of words, but it made a lot more sense once starting the game itself.
(Looks like I didn't realise there were multiple levels, so will come back to this later)
