I enjoyed the fast paced movement of the character. It made the pace of the game better and made each retry go by faster.

The game was seemingly too easy until the later levels and then the last level which I gave up on after 20 tries.

The game could probably have benefited from having enemies that attack you back, but even so awesome execution on this very well-rounded game.

Developer

Thank you! And thanks for the feedback

Awesome mechanic and great level design. The aesthetics are pretty good. I think it could be most adhered to the theme if you give the player only one bullet for real, like for all the level. Because as it is, you can get another bullet. The idea looks pretty original and has a lot of potential for a longer version or for more game mechanics.

We also made our game in Godot: Mocho VS Mostros. It would be nice if you give it a try and give us some feedback.

Really cool.  Has a lot of potential, but even at this stage it's pure fun :)

Great fun! Really well executed, love the sounds and visuals (even though the explosions feel a bit out of place, regarding the art style of the rest). The time goal of each level presents a neat extra challenge. Among my favorites so far! May I ask how exactly you save the players progress?

My game: https://njamster.itch.io/wonkey (playable in browser, not mobile friendly)

When exporting to HTML, Godot treats cookies like it would a computer's filesystem. Therefore, saving data to a file like you would with a desktop app also works when exporting to the browser!

Thanks, glad you like it. The explosion was from opengameart.org ;) definitely needs a change

Ah, I see. That's neat! Thank your for the explanation - definitively will be useful for future projects!

I liked it, but it kinda had some issues with slippery controls and feeling for what feels like it should be precise, otherwise a solid premise and platformer.

Developer

Thanks, could you specify what you felt was slippery, so I can fix it for a post jam release?

Submitted

Idk why but I can't play(

It was like this on my laptop

Sorry, It's an issue with my export, the HTML doesn't support particle effects on some browsers, sadly. Here's a Windows download if you'd like to play :)

I feel the movement is too fast or slippery for the precise platforming necessary in level 9 and 12. The only reason I got past level 9 was I found the shortcut. Other than that, it's an addictive game and I did manage to finish it.

Edit: there is a bug where it does not recognize that you finished the game if the last spike ball explodes while already standing in front of the door. That made it a little harder for me to get platinum on level 4. I still got it though.

Developer

The bug has already been fixed and will be updated after the jam :) thank you

Some of the art feels out of place for this style of game (the explosion), but this is an interesting concept that should definitely be expanded upon! Good job :D

Interesting little game.

I love the idea of the launcher being an important method of navigating levels, but there were some parts of levels which felt like they didn't require at all, which was a shame.

But for a weekends worth of work, it's an excellent game!

Very nice, quite challenging! got to the end (struggles a lot, but it was fun!) Overall a very nice game, cool concept!

Developer

Thank you, and I'm glad you enjoyed!

Neat platformer with a cool concept. Would have liked to see it without the extra missiles and focused more on harder to solve, single shot puzzles but it's really well done either way!

Submitted(+1)

Really cool platformer and so much potential in it :D good job!

Very good speedrunner techniques! I enjoy finding the second ability (speed or jump boost) of the launcher before it was presented, I was very intrigued by the platinum medals so I started experimenting on the first levels. Had a lot of fun.

Developer

That's great, and thank you! Your scores save, so feel free to come back any time you like ;)

Great execution. It took me quite some time to get the controls going, using both the arrow keys and WASD was very confusing to me at first. After some practice though it was a fun experience.

Love the look and the animation is as clean as any game produced over a week by a whole team. Really enjoy the feel as well

Developer

Thanks so much!!

Really great animations and effects man. For something made in under two days.......this is really good. Hope to see a full version soon man :)

Plays very nicely for me in a browser.  Great job!

Developer

That's great to hear!

The movement was buggy for me. The character sprite got stuck in the start position and when I stopped moving it was kind of teleporting to the end position in a glitchy way. Which made it pretty difficult to play :(

Developer

I don't have this, but HTML can be a bit buggy. Try the Windows download here!

Same here! The game kinda freezes for a few seconds then resumes- hope it gets fixed! Wish to play the levels ~

Beautifully put together! It feels like the aerial controls could be tightened a bit, but the whole game was a lot of fun!
