You made this game look absolutely awesome, you did such a great job on the visuals, I also like the touch that the countdown was in-time with the music. As others have said the steering was a little too sensitive, but other than that this is a really impressive game! I made a kart game too and I want to know how you made such a good position counter!

The position counter is a bit overkill in this game xD There are around 50 triggers around the whole track, used as checkpoints. Each kart keeps count on the lap it's running now, its current checkpoint, the target checkpoint and the distance to the latter. Then a race controller compares all karts progression data and sorts them in order!
There's a lot of room for optimization, but worked like a charm so who cares! Here's a pic so you can see what I'm talking about.

What an incredible accomplishment! Super creative use of the art kit, it almost feels like the art was designed for the game instead of the other way around. Beautiful visuals and nice polish, but I agree with others that the controls were rather difficult. After a race or two you get used to it, though. Would've loved to have seen a couple more courses, but amazing job for 48 hours of work!
Very creative use of the assets and nicely polished look! The steering controls were a bit wonky for me.
Good job. Looks buttery smooth. A bit too much drag. I reduced drag in my game to almost nothing--and some people are saying I need more. Once you tone down the drag, you can make the karts go faster. I can tell you playtested with a controller. People need to play your game with one.
Looks really nice. Sometimes my controls would get stuck on turning left or right, so even if I didn't press any button the car would turn, it was a bit hard to control the vehicle.
Some more polish and it will be a cool game to play for a while :)
Great use of the assets, it looks really good and it would be neat to see this expanded on. The controls are really stiff though, it would've been nice to have a sensitivity slider or something similar.
Super beautiful game, it can be the best of all but control..... I think bots in this game also suffers of control like me. :DD

This game owns. I particularly love the way the starting countdown is in sync with the music, the clean and beautiful visuals, and how the tire texture is made from the castle wall sprite.
If you continue development, the car physics could use a little tweaking, it's really easy to drive perfectly as long as you tap the keys when steering, and the wheels don't always reset to centered position the way I was expecting it to. Netplay would be amazing too.
Basically I just love this game and want more of it. Really solid stuff.
Why isn't there more car games.

Nice this is incredibly polished especially for the time limit. Would love some power ups similar to Mario Kart or certain fields on the track which increase your speed. But besides that this game is actually pretty amazing and really well done :D.
Who needs a break button when a turn brings you to a skidding halt? :D
The assets look great and after 1 race I got the hang of the controls. The NPCs aren't hard to beat either. Overall great experience!
