Amazing art, very pretty! I love the idea and the style fits perfectly great job.
For some constructive feedback I'd make the cooking system simpler just add and don't overwhelm the player with too much stuff to explore at first.

Did you work in a team?
just me! it was very fun but also my first game so basically everything is a hurdle.
Was the resolution a challenge?
the resolution was no problem; i like working in small sizes. the hardest part was keeping subpixels at bay.
What did you learn?
i learned that i am very slow at making games. i started this on like day 3 of the jam and worked on it a few hours a day and was still not able to finish it in a way i am super happy with. but this was my first video game release ever!

I love the whole style and aesthetic, but it was hard to figure out even with the description. Really beautiful pixel art. Good job!
It might not be the user-friendliest game in its current state, but you created a working new concept with really immerive aesthetics as your very first game. be proud!
So it took a lot of trial and error out to figure out the mechanics and finally get that A soup, but it was fun digging around. who knew spiders were so sweet? :D
Really loved this game ! I love the beautiful visuals, and the overall feeling of the world. The sun rays and the parallax backgrounds are really nice. However I’m a bit lost as to what I’m supposed to be doing…I gathered some wood, seems I need to add it to the fire but can’t find any option to do so…my soup went cold
That’s a nice game, the graphics and animations are very good and there a many ingredients to discover.
I got A in all categories except sweet stayed C, didn’t find sugar I guess. Also, what is the red tool ? I didn’t know how to use it.
the red tool is a seed, actually. i was planning to put farming some crops in the game to add to the soup as special ingredients but i couldn't get to it in time :-(
the sweetest ingredient is a Candy Corn, but it's a bit more rare to find than the others. there are other ingredients that add sweet, but not as much, and each ingredients both adds and subtracts from the balance. so a candy corn might add a lot of sweetness, but that cuts down the salty, etc.
Visual style is awesome! Great job nailing that. Not toooo sure what the game is :). Nice start
Love the art! I also made a game with a skeleton character who farms in a way haha (but mine looks more childish), I'd be curious what you'd think. Art is very lovely! I wish the story hadn't been yeeted haha, would've helped with learning and understanding the world and game more easily!
Interesting concept, mixed crafting/survival game. Graphics are very nice, it can be difficult to identify kind of items but it works well.
I enjoyed watching the progress updates for this game on Discord, and, after playing it, I can say that the game itself is very enjoyable! I love what you were able to make!!
