Really enjoyed the game.
I love the art and animations! That archer is so cool! Really nice to play and great soundtrack.
I knew I was in trouble when I heard that music in the final level :D

Really enjoyed the game.
I love the art and animations! That archer is so cool! Really nice to play and great soundtrack.
I knew I was in trouble when I heard that music in the final level :D
Great looking game and nice gameplay.
I would have loved to be able to shoot arrow to modify the path of the hero (e.g. a bridge you can destroy as an example).
Neat simple game. Though sometimes it felt like a click was unresponsive, and moving the mouse after the click redirects the error which is a bit confusing.
So this is “by design”, which is the cooldown in which the archer cannot shoot. A better way is to hold the mouse, but I definitely know what you mean, it can be a bit confusing.
That’s interesting, because at first we had the arrow fly to the position where the player initially clicked, but this felt very unintuitive so I changed it to fly to current mouse position.
Thanks for the nice review!
Really nice with a great graphic style! :D
Sometimes my arrows seem to fail their objective, I'm not sure if that's intentional, having them to be a little unreliable.
The game is simple to play and the graphics and music make the game stand out. Good job.
The art is really unique! I struggle with that a lot. Had fun maniacally shooting alien things for a while. Good job
Really liked the art style for the cover of the game also the pixel arts and its animation, really fits well with the atmosphere of the game. All in all, the assets you used in the game complements each other, Kudos on that!!!
Great work on your submission, Cheers!!!
That pixel art looks SO good! :O Great entry! Although I'm sure that hero took the LEAST efficient route to get from A to B... 😁😁😁
You are a master of art. The pixel art is extremely good. One thing that I have missed was a dying animation for the enemies. But that's a small detail.
Outstanding submission and definitely a great game! :)
The artstyle and the music is amazing, well-done! ^_^
Sometimes I feel like the enemies spawn a bit too random and it's straight up next to this dumb hero. :D
Otherwise, I enjoyed it, nice entry, congrats! :)
Honestly, wow. The art style and the music go hand in hand. The last level with those huge enemies was a bit too hard, sometimes ti was impossible to beat. Great game!
Nice idea, not that original maybe, but the graphics make up for that. Awesome stunning graphics, well done!
Only thing I missed was some kind of indication if I could shoot again - now I kept pressing the mouse until the "timer" was finished to shoot a new arrow.
Overall great submission!
Beautiful story and stunning art style. Game is fun and short enough to keep you playing till the end, so perfect for a jam.
All things said, i always thought the kodamas were cute and peaceful :(
The game is beautiful, especially the not-a-hero animation. The music fits the tone of the game very well, and adds something to the story.
The only problem I got with the game is the randomness that sometimes doesnt give you any chance, especially on the last part ; the hitbox of the big monster goes very high, but mostly, if they appear on the wrong side of the screen, you dont really have a chance !
I would have loved it if instead of shooting arrows non-stop, holding the click would have allowed us to charge the arrow and deal more damage (arrow would deal 2, but takes 1,5x the time needed for a simple arrow for example) ; it would have added a risk/reward mechanic, with arrows you absolutely don't want to miss.
Anyway, it was a great and immersive experience. Thank you for that !
Amazing entry i loved the art and the story telling
the music fit the game play well
the gameplay was simple but very polished
