Very nice - the right kind of stressful!

I like how you introduced the mechanic at the start with the in-game tutorial and the more-lenient timing, but I definitely agree that colour-coding the input options might be useful; choosing something quickly is difficult enough without also having to choose from a constantly randomised option layout! Colours might help alleviate that somewhat!

Regardless, it's a ton of fun. Nice work!

I really liked your game, it's stressful but you still have to try again and again :D

I also made a little video compilation of games from the game jam and you're in it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLyp4qxT7Uc

Really fun, my only suggestion would be to use giant colored icons instead of text for each button so that you could more quickly discern what direction an action was. Great job!

A really good game , very addictive .I wonder if it is possible to port it to mobile .Who know ?

great take on the theme! the quick and constant decision making makes my brain overheat at some point, it would be nice if the commands were also color coded or something like that.

Color codes are a really good idea. I was thinking of icons showing the action next to the text but adding color on top of that would probably render the UI even more easier to read (at least for non-color blind people). Thanks for the tip, I'll use it when working again on the game

It's so hard, but I had a lot of fun, very original take on the theme, the level design allows multiple possibilities, the game is polished, fantastic, great job!

Very stressful but also very satisfying, my eyes don't feel the same they used to. Fun game!

That's what i call "A perfect game".

Pretty interesting and dynamic game with great music and idea. Well done.

Simple but effective! Takes a couple tries to get used to, so it's good that the game lets you jump right back into the action after dying. I like the balance between memorization and reaction speed needed to beat it.

Developer

Thanks!

Very cool! A great example of "less is more". Well done!

Developer

Thanks a lot! I'm a big supporter of the "less is more" style, so I really appreciate your comment

Very simple but nerve wrecking, NEAT!

Developer

Thanks, hope it didn't stress you too much ^^

So much fun. I like that there is no "game over" screen or anything like that so you get thrown right back into the action when you lose. Great mechanic!

Developer

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it

This was quite fun to play!

I did not know quick-time events could be so fun!

Developer

Glad you liked it!

This game transforms a simple action like jumping to a plataform into some split second decision making tense moment.  I loved every second of it!!

Developer

Thank you so much for your kind words, I really appreciate it

The general gameplay feals really polished and makes fun.
The visual are simple and great at the same time.
I'd like to see having more and more options to choose from in later levels.

Currently it doesn't feel  rewarding going the harder routes,
Maybe adding some bonus collectable (like the 3 Mario Coinst).
That would add additional replay value.
Dispite that good job.

Developer

Thanks for your nice and constructive comment!

I tried to balance the routes so that you have the same number of possibly punishing moves no matter where you pass but it might not feel like it and I might have made some mistakes.
I was thinking of collectables too, including power-ups but couldn't do it during the jam.
As for the actions, before your comment I didn't though about having more possible actions with still three buttons so yeah that's perfectly doable.

I'll keep all of this in mind if I try to work on this game again

Pretty polish and interesting, it's a good game. (AND A VERY STRESSFUL ONE)

Developer

Thanks a lot! Can you imagine having to play a stressful game over and over again during a 48h game jam? I don't recommend this to anyone ^^

Amazing job! Best game I've played yet. I found myself yelling out my next action while alone in my room just so I would remember what to look for. Very well done, 5 stars all around!

Developer

Wow I'm very pleased you liked it that much! Thank!
