Nice game! The art and bullet mech is really nice

the core mechanic was really really good, i loved how you parry or catch the bullets ( i am not sure ) but it was super cool and the boss fights was satisfying to play, Greatly well done!

I’m not entirely sure what I just played—but it was definitely interesting :D And somehow, I really wanted to see it through to the end. Very unique visuals. This game definitely stands out in the jam!

Interesting mechanic of bullet catcher for ammo, I felt like there might be some message here I wasn't getting but overall well done!

The art style and use of colour really stood out and helped set the mood. Bullet catching and shooting mechanics were interesting and kept things varied each stage. I liked the message and think you pulled off something unique here.. Took a bit to understand at first but once it clicked it was solid. Good entry

This game has some cool scary vibes. Nicely done!

I enjoyed the bullet catching/shooting mechanics as well as dodging the crosshairs.  I also think you varied the patterns of the incoming bullets well to keep it varied through each stage.

Too complex mechanics, too abstract visuals. Hard to understand what I’m supposed to do. (for me at least)

I like the art and the message though. The activism games are important and a good tool for spreading the information. Good luck on your fight.

Yeah, the tutorial was made in a hurry (same as the whole game). The diamond-shaped thing with crosses can be placed to catch bullets, which will them fire back when recalled. When collecting bullets, it becomes hazardous to prevent the player from just staying on top of it to avoid bullets.

What was the exact issue with the visuals? I tried to make them easy to follow with the use of colours: blue for the player, red for enemies and hazards and purple for the backgrounds.

Thanks for appreciating the message!

I don’t know how to explain it well… I can give you an analogy. Think of it as trying to ride an alien ship. You comprehend there’s a system similar to our vehicles (control panel, Captain’s chair, screen, stop/start etc), but it doesn’t look familiar enough to operate on intuition alone.

I would enjoy a video of the gameplay, it can be easier to understand some moments by just seeing “a correct walkthrough”.

P.S. i just realised he game visually reminds me of Contra boss fights🤔

Activist games are awesome!  Thanks for contributing to a positive movement and supporting an incredible community.

I’m so sorry this is going on in your region. I hope you are able to make an impact. Sounds like a nightmare. Thank you for shedding light on the situation.

Submitted(+1)

So sad to learn about this whole situation. Thanks for spreading this message, though!

Ok - so I am sad to learn about the situation at Galicia. I'm grateful for this experience and I did look into the situation myself. I hope Ulla-river (which is actually a finnish name, I'm from Finland) will be spared from pollution.

Thanks for submitting this.

The message of this game is a heavy and powerful outcry. Fits really well with the art style and the darkness and sadness feel while playing.  Well done!

The artstyle and the choice of color is unique and kind of terrifying. I like that.

I love the art, the mechanics, the concept. The message.

Gracias por crear esto, de verdad se aprecia este tipo de juegos, tal vez no sigan la temática pero se sienten como una forma de expresión genuina.

Un afectuoso saludo a los desarrolladores.

That was a really nice atmosphere created by the visuals in cominations with the music. That really hit my taste.

As for the gameplay the movement could have been less "snappy/precise" and a little bit more physics bases imo. In overall a solid entry with good level of polish though. The story i skipped (which i usually do in games) til the last segment, and then it made me feel bad...

Very cool! I really like the shooting mechanic 👍

Interesting project. Piece of modern art and a powerfull (awareness) message. Overall feels quite polished an well done. Like in arts, i guess the theme is hidden in plain sight.
Although it is one world, everyone lives in their own little "world". And we dont always see what's going on outside of our own, for better or worse. Thanks for your work.

Wow that was actually really compelling it felt like being part of an Art film. Not sure hoe its fits theme but I gave you some points for that anyway ;)

Developer(+1)

Well they did say the theme was optional.

Yeah this was cobbled together for the "fuck capitalism jam", but then I noticed it also matches this one's schedule.
