World looks huge, but it couldn't feel smaller. A dystopian rat race.

Hey!

The arty direction is on point! Very atmospheric, from the music to the visuals it has this creepy sensual sci fi energy.

The night day cycle mechanic is neat and guessing the product based on the strange dialogues was great!

I think I kept hitting a bug, I tried to play 3 times and I ran into it each time until I decided to quit. (I'm playing on Windows).

I would get a certain character stuck in front of the shop counter, then I would "serve" it but it would just stay there and I could serve it again and again. Other characters would  arrive and (my guess) is depending on their draw priority maybe? They would stack up one on top of the other. Going to sleep did not reset it and I would start the next day with a bunch of customers stuck in front of the counter.

Yeah, that bug is a bitch to get fixed. I have a patch for it but I'm still not a 100% sure if it fixes it.

Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you liked the vibe!

liked this one. The retro visuals gave it a unique charm and the setting was well done. The multiple endings added replay value. Great job

Well done - highest rated game I've played this jam.

Obviously all subjective but this is my interpretation, lol. Loved the mid-90s PC sprites duck-taped onto primitive 3D worlds aesthetic. And who doesn't like being pepper-sprayed by a 1980s leather bar enjoyer in high heels? I swear I recognised some of the er, characters... Loved the art btw, were they original creations or edits? Would love to know your process.

Got ending #3 so far as I'm a gullible worker beee but will see what else I can do (probably in extra-curricular time). Trying to avoid spoilers in case anyone comes here and wants to play some more...

Thanks a lot, I'm really glad you enjoyed the game!

I worked on the graphics for the characters and the drones.
The 80s leather bar enjoyer in high heels is probably the only realistic character, with a pepper spray added in his hand :)

The artist name Copi – Raúl Damonte Botana (1939–1987) – was an Argentine-French writer, cartoonist, playwright, and performer, active in the LGBT and avant-garde scene in France during the 1970s–80s.

The process was as follows: the characters were created in Photoshop using a collage technique with various photo fragments, then I altered their proportions using the Liquify tool, converted them into pixel art, and finally shaped them using the lasso tool :)

This game has some cool vibes... Nicely done!

I loved this game. The PS1 graphics look great and the gameplay is pretty fun. I loved how you implemented the tiny world meaning in such a philosophical way. Congrats!

Developer

I appreciate that. Thank you for playing!

You guys created something visually unique. I like how wild it is along with the mixture of ps1 style graphics. One hiccup I ran into was pressing escape during the 3rd day and it just closed the game. I was looking for a menu to adjust the volume. Fortunately the game was fun so I just restarted :)

This comment made my day :) Thank you for playing and for the kind words.

We'll make sure to do something about esc to quit, it is very unpleasant.

Sometimes customers get stuck in place (and can get more than one), but I still manage to fulfill their requests several times. So, I kind of took advantage of an exploit and deserved the ending.

It’s a very nice game with those PS1 shader and sales/chores simulator feel. The aesthetics and storyline are both very good. Good job! Keep going!

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I deployed a fix, hopefully it works as intended now.
