That was really fun! I was worried going in that I wouldn't enjoy it, but I ended up having heaps of fun making number go up. I felt like the art and music also fit really well, and tied the whole thing together.

Unfortunately I figured out some bugs that allowed me to get infinite resources so then I ruined the game for myself, but until then it was really fun!

Yeah, that bug was found less than an hour after ratings started. Oh well. Ive got it fixed and a bunch of other QoL updates ready to ship for after ratings though

Very cool! This might be my favorite game of the jam so far. Make it to round 21! I love how the different actions you can take all have different costs that pull against each other, and the constant rising threat is a great mechanic too.

I'm into complex board games, and I'm a sucker for resource management so this was in my alley. I really love the concept here, but what was missing for me was a variety of strategies. I may have just missed this in the design, but I couldn't really tell if there was an advantage in trying to optimize one die, or evenly upgrade them. I found myself making choices a bit randomly. It would be cool to have the resources a bit more differentiated from each other so I could strategize about which ones I'm likely to need later

Yeah, my original idea was to have *something* unique about each die, like one die contributing double to your rolled sum if it was even, or a die rewarding wisps on its own. I wanted them to feel more unique, but alas - time is a thing. 

Right now, I still like the puzzle of optimizing your moves. I think that informs which dice to upgrade when more than anything. Having three helps to mitigate the overall randomness as you're more likely to receive at least one high value than if you were rolling one or two dice. High value dice are more valuable placed in the top slots, and conversely low value dice are more valuable in the lower slots. Adding more uniquely defining characteristics or traits to each die would be a significant change to the design. While not bad, it's probably working towards a different game.

Made it to turn 16! Definitely would have liked an in-game tutorial to help explain what was going on, but it did click after a few turns. Very neat idea, I wonder if you could do some sort of co-operative mode in here. Not sure how it would work, but this just has a feel of a co-op board game to me. Loved the presentation and need to think at each turn about what would be the best short-term vs long-term choice.

Yeah, tutorial elements are sorely missing. 

I'm already ruminating on how I can translate this to a physical game. It may end up being a co-op experience in that form. But for a video game, I'm not ready to tackle a multiplayer game lol.

Hmm, a very relaxing game in the end. At start I was a little bit frustrated and didn't get what should I do, but after reading the description I started to enjoy it. Simple and chilling. Thank you for such experience! That's what I need after work ^^

Nice relaxed little worker placement game! It reminds me a little of DiceForge. A progressive goal (like collect X wisps) might be more fun than staying alive, I think. Nice aesthetics.

That was a ton of fun! This is a really unique game, very well done! There's a little bug where the log says "you paid X" when you roll below the skull, where it should say "you paid X Celestial Wisps" I feel. Gave me a bit of confusion. Also instead of the log, showing some +X on the UI with some nice effects would be better I think. Saves the player from reading a bunch. Still though, I enjoyed this a lot. Even reached round 28 on my 2nd try!

I am considering removing the history completely. In the thick of the jam, it sounded like a new thing to learn and a good way for me to easily make sure player actions get SOME sort of feedback. For a post-jam version, I'd love to be able to remove it completely and really flesh out the feedback with more particles, floating numbers, and a contextual dice roll button that reminds you to place your unplaced dice and upgrade wisp trackers. 

I believe 28 is tied for the highest score I've seen! Well done!

To be clear, I think the log is totally fine for a jam version. Like you said, it's important that the player gets at least *some* feedback. If you are going to make a post-jam version I'd love to check it out though. I'm always looking for chill games that I can play next to a stream or such and this totally nails that. I'll drop you a follow so I don't miss any updates!

I had a surprising amount of fun with this! I like the methods you can manipulate the RNG, and this game is very well presented. Everything is very clear to the player, and I figured out what was going on and how to play very quickly because of that. All of the players actions also have great feedback. Lots of the time longer game jam entries get boring quick, but this entertained me for a while. Super well done!

A really solid board game style game with a fun and unique premise. (I'm honestly surprised that i have not seen anyone else try a board game given the game jam theme.) You had a good mixture of rng elements while also providing players with a good amount of choice. The game itself also just plays very intuitively, I grasped it rather quickly and had fun so great work. Visually the game looks beautiful despite its simplicity, and all the visual elements read very clearly to the user. The music was strong and did not get irritating, which can be a problem with longer game jam entries but not this one. Overall, i think the game is great and would love to see more of it, though i think it is rather feature complete and could be released as is. Great work

Music and gameplay are amazing! The art is nice although at first seems quite daunting, I had to read the description twice and experiment a bit to get the hang of it, but once you're in, it's tense! I had just two minor complaints, which you probably are already aware of: when I dragged one die near another one that was already used, it seemed to collide and wouldn't let me pass, so I had to circumvent the used die.
The second one was that when I used the wisp tracker upgrade, I forgot to set which tracker so I lost one wisp the next round. Again, that's minor and much more on the player side, but maybe a warning could help before rolling?

Yeah, the die collision was my original solution to prevent players from using the same action twice, but it turns out that didn't work as you can still "cheat" it on and trigger a space. My post-jam build fixes this, so collision probably isn't needed. It's a nice tactile feel when you're just moving the dice around at the top, but I agree that it feels a little awkward once it's placed. Maybe I can turn off the collision after the die has been assigned. 

And yeah, feedback on player actions is a big miss this time around for me. My post-jam build already plans to not let you roll if you haven't upgraded a tracker, so hopefully that will help.

Omg, music and sfx are on point, so relaxing and naturally merging with the game. The UI is a little messy, feels like a bomb to eyes when you first open the game. The gameplay is pretty fun, had a great time playing it. Congrats for the submission!

I haven't heard the UI described like that yet. I've personally been calling it a spaghetti nightmare lol.

UI is one of the things I'm hoping to revisit for the post-jam update, at least trying to get more visual feedback and a better flow that the eyes can follow.

Wow, this was really fun! Took me a while to get the hang of it but after learning, it was really fun! The only complaint I have is that I wish we were able to remove a dice after we place it.

I've gotta think about how best to handle undos. Someone suggested not awarding any resources until you've confirmed all the dice, but I like the ability to be able to use 1 die to get resources to immediately buy something in the same turn. But a single move undo system shouldn't be too bad to work in.

The visual polish on this entry is stunning and I was already invested when you mention the target audience! A really neat little game, would love to see a post-jam expanded release.

cfhm, Really cool concept, and I liked that you had a target audience in mind when developing the game. This is super helpful for long-term game dev especially. I also liked the moon, sun, star concept I love space :D. In the future, I would suggest trying to create something that is easily figureoutable for a jam game specifically. I took a lot of time trying to figure out how to play. Really great work though congrats on your 11th jam :D
