I enjoyed this concept! I wish there was a tutorial at the start, as I had no idea what I was doing until I read the instructions on the game page. I recommend always budgeting time to implement a tutorial.

Overall, I really enjoyed the tower defense mechanics, but I did find it a bit difficult. Great job!

Very good concept! It was a little OP how you could put your troops at the exit to make sure enemies would wait, but still p difficult either way! Great entry!

Nice graphics, nice mechanics, and good risk and reward gameplay. A bit slow for my taste, but a very solid jam entry. Great job!

I had a really fun time with this game! I just stayed in the towers with my dices until I could ambush the enmies, and it worked (barely)! At times the game did however feel a bit unresponsive, as if the dices had their own free will. Other than that the mechanics were fun and well implemented! Great job!

Cool concept, would like to see more polish!

Really fun multitasking TD! The art is great, the music compliments it well and the core loop is nice for the time its present (any longer probably would have gotten really repetitive)

That was a very unique tower defense game! Excellent use of the theme, you really nailed it there I feel like. There is a small bug where some dice can get stuck behind towers, so you can't really click them anymore. And I would've liked a bit more instructions at the start, since it took me a bit before i really figured out the controls. But other than that, I had a blast! Really fun game. Nicely done!

Really nice Tower Defense! Cool art style!

Really cool game! The art style fit well and having your projectiles be mechs that you then need to return to the towers was an interesting twist. I did find at a couple of points the dice would land behind a tower and be pretty much impossible to click on , and it was a bit hard to keep track of the dice in general. Maybe brighter colours or an glow effect could have helped them to stand out. Some of the later waves felt like there were a bit too many enemies to reasonably deal with but I liked the difficulty level of the earlier waves.

Overall great job!

This game looks great, I liked the dice jumping into the tower animation. I loved your twist on the tower defence genre as well.

The difficulty (or the levels) was a bit high, I lost almost all of my health in the first couple rounds and got almost to the end with 1 HP left. Also, it was a bit difficult to aim the dice, although I kinda got used to it. And, as mentioned before, they take too long to explode after landing. Maybe do the boom right when they land?

These tiny issues aside, great entry with quite a bit of potench!

Nice idea, great visuals! However, I think that way too much is happening on the screen at the same time. I was able to make it to the end of last wave, but lost right near the end. The biggest problem for me probably was the vulnerability of dice - they die almost immediately when surrounded by enemies, which they need to be constantly if they are to deal damage. It takes them too long to land, to start moving again and to get back to the tower. Sometimes they are completely stunlocked when the enemies are near your base. If you really want to keep their health as a mechanic, I'd suggest raising it, polishing their landing, movement and adding (more) invincible frames on getting hit and respawning. Still, great game, love the amount of stuff I need to think about in a TD game!

Cool concept with great implementation!

This is the most unique tower defense game I've played so far!

Super nice game! It took me a second to understand what was going but once I got it, it was a great experience! My core gameplay loop was throwing out the exploding dice and trying to get them back to the tower asap. I lost at the last wave but that was absolutely fine because I felt like there was a lot more depth that I could’ve jumped into.

Well done!

This was a lot of fun. I really like the game; I think it excels in a lot of categories.

I may seem like I have a lot of complaints, but just know that they are very nitpicky.

There are a lot of times where I cannot see the dice. The game is unsaturated with colors and there are no highlights on the dice unless they are clicked on. Sometimes they are hiding behind a tower or just blending in with somewhere else. I would suggest giving the dice a bright green outline that appears in a GUI just so I know that it is out in the open,

I would give the towers some lights so that I know that they are loaded.

I cannot click and command on the dice when they are being rolled which is kind of annoying.

There is no prompt telling me that I have a new die available at my base at the bottom. It just appears and I don't know about it.

Fix those things and the gameplay will be much smoother.

This was really fun, a highlight of the jam for me. When I first read the description I thought it would be somewhat similar to our game, but once I finally figured out that you could move the dice after throwing them, the concept really shone. Awesome job on the art design, and the idea of balancing the use of dice as projectiles and as units was a stroke of brilliance.  Nice work!

Really creative and fun way of combining tower defense and dice rolls. I find myself having so much fun trying to micro manage the dice into the towers. Almost beat the game, but at the end, I got overwhelmed as all the dice respawns near the base where almost all the enemies are clumped, instantly killing them before I can put them in any towers (a few seconds of invincibility would've helped) :P

Very engaging and unique, congrats on finishing the jam !

Well first of all, I really liked the fact that this had a 3D models and a general art style which really fit with the post-apocalyptic feel of the game. Furthermore, the balance between having to rush dice to towers and them watching them explode is really fun as well as launching them across the map for air support. Two minor complaints which I have are that firstly, if you place your dice behind the tower(ie by launching it there), you can no longer access that dice until it dies because the tower blocks it. Secondly, it gets a little annoying that the dice explosion timing seems to be a little more random(Based on what I saw it seems to be like based on when it lands on an exact face). Outside of those two minor complaints, a great game! Good luck on your submission!-Sincerely, Henry_Hamster

Definitely took me a minute to work out the moving of the dice and launching them from the towers, but, it's a super creative tower defense title that works really well, bit of polish on the controls and it's golden!
