Wow, this was a really good game! Glad there was a 2nd version in case the first one crashed. As I’ve mentioned having a ‘useless’ building that would mostly be for extra weight might be interesting.

Great entry!

Ohh really interesting game, although a bit difficult to manage. I’d recommend grouping some elements together to keep the focus of the screen on 1 point. For example, put the timer in the middle, and the cards vertically in the middle, that way the player has one line on where to look.

Great job for the 2 day jam!

Fun mechanic and really good looking style! At some point the game stopped spawning enemies for me, but I think I was already near the end anyway?

In the future I would like to be able to fast forward text by clicking and then the 2nd click be skip, that way I can control how fast I read instead of having to wait. Solid entry!

Really cute! fun but simple concept. The music also really really fit the game well!

Interesting idea to scale planets, makes for some good puzzles! This really seems like a game that can go really far by expanding it more! The puzzles that it had so far were good too, but I would like to see some hints as to where to look.

Good entry!

Wow, really nice entry! I am pretty happy with my 10th place, interesting mechanic with a good learning curve!

Fun game, interesting mechanic with the element system, but it could’ve been made more visible as I didn’t quite see it until a couple matches in! Really liked the design of the characters but there was a clear winner for me (giraffe o’clock).

Other than that, some improvements I would like to see in a future iterations:

  • Make the intro text wait for player input, I was always too slow with reading them.
  • The game currently felt a bit too RNG, I think that is partly the cause of how many actions you are allowed to use (5 points) and the amount of cards in your inventory. I usually get to play all of my cards before I run out of action points. A solution for this would be to reduce the amount of action points and give more action points (and variation) to cards, so a card might take 2 action points from the player instead of always 1.
  • Lastly, there was a small bug on the first round of a fight: the next turn button didn’t work.

Overall, great entry!

Great entry! I was a little confused on what some of the powerups did (for example I expected the - powerup to slow me, but I don’t think that it did?). Either way once again really nicely polished!

Really nice game! It took me a couple of tries before I noticed the left menu, so I was wondering why her mood kept going down steadily 😅 but once I’ve noticed that the game was pretty well balanced and fun to play! Well done!

Really cool concept! Nicely executed and everything fit well together ^^

Cute game, the ending got quite difficult but the music was very good and it felt on beat (but that is coming from a guy with no rhythm ^^)

Well done!

Ahhhhh I am happy with a 22!

The game is a lot of fun, and really satisfying to jump onto people to throw them out. It does feel a lil unfair how they just keep walking into one direction and boot you out 😭 Very cool for a first jam!

Nice entry! Really liked how big the map was and the leveling system! One thing I'd recommend is disabling stuff like opening the map or talking to people when you are in combat, other than that well done!

Interesting game, could definitely be explored a lot!

I wasn't quite sure on what to do as I kept dying (but I think this is a personal issue as the title already says to stay out of the sun :) )

Nice game!

This was quite an interesting game! Trying to remember where I placed cards was a nice touch!

I'd recommend maybe shuffling the deck and showing the cards for a quick second at the start of an encounter.

Choosing the card first felt a bit unfair, as you'd never know which card the other would use, making it kind of like a junk card where you'd lose a point.

Nice entry!

A pretty tense experience! Well done on adding anxiety to the game ^^

Dang, I only got to around 30 some bullets are very tough to avoid! Nice entry ^^

Very good concept! It was a little OP how you could put your troops at the exit to make sure enemies would wait, but still p difficult either way! Great entry!

ah fair enough, I wasn't too sure when the shift ended so I stopped looking at the clock, but having that be said somewhere would add a lot!

Very cute game! Could easily be expanded with new rulesets, fake dice, and extra challenges!

I'd also recommend adding a timer for how long the shift lasts and maybe adding a time bonus for handling customers quickly (while correctly). I wish there was a notification when you missed a cheater and with a reason why, because I did miss some people but I wasn't sure who I missed

Side note for Sen: Is that "Adult" Vincent Adultman from Bojack Horseman? If so, lovely reference!

I love the design and concept of this game!

buuut there is one big flaw I think: because the destination changes every time you shoot it takes away most of the control of the player. As an example: I could try and shoot my ball into hole 1, if I miss the destination could become 3. So I have to get the ball into 3, but if I miss again? Who knows what the goal could be, this could be an infinite loop with only one good strategy: Wait at a hole until it gets picked, which is a lot less fun right?

To fix this issue this might be a fun solution: Give the holes more variation and pick a hole at the start of a level, this way each level has 6 possible goals for the player making the game replayable (to some extent)

Either way, nice entry!

really loved this one! Nice to see some people from Ludum as well!

Really liked the concept, it was easy, cute, and well executed! The voice lines were really nice and helped the game feel a bit alive!

It wasn't clear to me at the start how the dices worked, I thought you had to guess what number they would land on but I think it ended up being that you had to kill them on that number (if I am wrong about that I played it completely wrong so lmk ^^)

I got to wave 12 which was completely insane, the number of enemies was a bit overwhelming lmao. Especially the ones that exploded were very chaotic and made it a bit unclear what was happening sometimes.

Great entry!

Very interesting game, it started getting a bit difficult when the numbers started going pretty high (especially right after a jam when tired lmao)

Well executed and polished!

That was a lot of fun! Once I understood how to change my die and the enemy dice it made for a very entertaining game (and I snatched 5th place for now!)

This was a pretty nice game! Seemed very difficult, especially the music minigame was hard to figure out. Nonetheless the game is very polished!

Very nicely polished game! Not 100% sure about how it fits the theme but it was very fun to play through!

Meow

This was kinda nice, would've loved to see more levels with this concept! You can definitely build a very cool game around this idea. Well done!

This was a really well-done puzzler, I liked how you connected to other blocks but the camera was a bit weird to see at times.

This was a really well polished game! It could do with more time when you have to reset a lot, but other than that it was really fun to challenge yourself!

This was really done, the story was well put together and it was pretty interesting finding the right combinations

I loved the screen shakes when you flop the ball and the game was very challenging on its own. Well done!

I loved this a lot, the music, story and art were all so good!

I really liked the audio and the art style which fit really well together. I couldn't get the screen to go fullscreen which made reading the rules a bit difficult, was tough knowing what to do because of that. The system did look pretty cool tho!

Thank you Matteo! We got a couple of tasks lined up that would make this game a bit more balanced (including adding the game over screen since right now you cant see when you've lost). Glad to see you liked it!

Yeeeeee

This was pretty cool! I liked the idea only some things could be explained better. Well done!

This was pretty fun, the movement was very smooth but I did definately miss a restart function. I also got stuck in one of the levels which was kinda weird. other than that I had fun!

This was very fun! Could've done without replacing your pencils but other than that very nice

This was pretty fun! dont know how the dev reached 5 seconds on so many levels but really fun!
