How does your game fit the theme?
The player wizard has a shadow twin. Both the twins have their souls "joined together", meaning they move via the same player input, have the same health/mana and will both die if either of them dies

Really nice art, and awesome music. Personally, I would've liked the music to ramp up a bit in the boss fight, but that's just me being nit-picky. The concept was fun, and the story explanation for the mechanic was really cute! I feel like more could've been done with the mechanic itself however. Overall, a very endearing and nicely polished fun game. Well done

An interesting take on the linked controls idea! I found the controls kind of unsuited to the having to line the wizards up differently for things like doors, it was just annoying without much real puzzling difficulty. The battles were fun, but I wanted more to care about with the second character in each fight. I found the last battle especially sad in this respect, it was just a long kiting game. More engaging fighting would really make this stand out! Overall good job for the jam though!

Hey! There's some good ideas here, but a few things took away from the experience for me. You need to turn around to shoot, and its difficult to not get hit when you need to stop to shoot. I was really missing twin stick controls. Also running out of mana didn't feel good. There wasn't a good way to conserve mana really, you just had to strafe until it recharged.  Great effort, and congratulations on finishing a game!

Really cool game! Just the right amount of difficulty, and the mechanics were fun to explore. Great work!

Very nice submission! The difficulty ramp felt right. The big boi was appropriately difficult. You approached the "split screen where you control both character" mechanic really well. It made me think but didn't feel frustratingly difficult. I especially liked the synergy in level design where the left was collecting mana while the right was fight ghouls.

Very dope :D

Lovely game! It was a bit difficult at first but thanks to the sprint button I was able to get through. Good job with the game!

The overall feeling of your game is awesome! It was interesting to interact and solve puzzles with how the room layout was designed.

This was really cool! The art is really cute and pleasing to look at and I found the combat was a nice addition. The rate the mana depletes seemed a tad harsh but that might just be me! It was cool having to manage the two during combat with the fighting/ replenishing too :)

not sure how, but I managed to get 1 wizard left behind. This is the best looking version of this game in the jam and plays as one of the best too though and I couldn't repeat the glitch no matter how many times I tried

Awesome and solid game! I think it fits the theme super well and is very straightforward and intuitive to play while still being engaging in a way that very well fits the jam.  Both puzzles and resource management (One mage fights while other supports) are achieved in this game.

Art looks great too!

Nice game! The only thing I didn't really like was the combat!

Really cool, felt good to play. I really enjoyed the variety during my playthrough with the combat/puzzle elements. My only minor critique is that the mana mechanic feels a little out plays (my you couldve replaced the contents of the box with something like a powerup?)

You should be very proud of this one, nice job <3

Very good, I LOVE IT. The art, the music, the menu, everything is so good, I kinda got stuck in the 4th room. But still, pretty good game made in 48 hours.

Overall, great game :)

Glad you liked the game!
There is a known bug by which players can get stuck as one of the wizards doesn't move to the next room. This bug can be avoided by playing the stage from the beginning as it is not a repeating occurence.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused because of this issue, it will be fixed in the post-jam version

This is a pretty interesting take on the split-screen two characters concept, making it more of a dungeon crawler with both synced and un-synced combat encounters was a clever idea especially the boss fight at the end! Definitely a little bit jank in the controls department, but, overall a pretty fun and unique game. Well done!

I love the parts where 1 character has to collect supplies while the other is in combat it really adds a unique spin to the concept of controlling 2 characters. Overall good and enjoyable game!

Great job! There are many games in which you control two characters with one controller, but this is the only one I have seen so far with roguelike elements. It was really fun to play, and good job making this in under 48 hours!

Nice work. I really liked the parts where one is fighting and the other is gathering resources to support the fight. Some more enemy variety would be great, but this is very solid for the Jam. I'd play more!

The best "control 2 characters at once" game I played, the art is very appealing. Good work!

cool concept and I like that you added story too it, one side fighting while the other picked up items is a mechanic that ive not seen in other games so props to that, I wish the mana recharged a little quicker.
