Really clever, and gets challenging very quickly with a good progression through the levels. Very polished and 'complete' for a jam game and something satisfying to play through.

Nice idea, love the art, and the level progression, but from level 11 it was really hard for me. hehehe
Love your game!
could you check my entry? I´ll appreciate it, Thanks!
Cool, I also made a platfromer with godot this jam.
cool idea! and its really well polished! actually the best platformer controls of the jam! and i really like the graphics. levels are varied enough. its very impressive how you did so much in a week!!
one of the bests of the jam! nice job!
Looks epic considering its your first game. Also I loved the pace and overall controls. I am new to gamedev too and using Godot, however I am having a hard time making Tilemaps look good. So overall, pretty great game.
Oh boy, well that was an experience aye. Fun little platform game, some nice mechanics with the pillow and the replay shadows.
The art was awesome, nice detail, some great depth with the faded backgrounds, and generally just felt like a really solid experience. Very nice work indeed, would recommend!
That was pretty impressive I cant lie. The artwork was amazing and the concept of avoiding your shadows and the pillow bouncing mechanic made this game so complete and fun to play. I also like all the different songs you had. The only thing I can really say to improve is the pillow jump height physics were a bit difficult to get down sometimes. Other than that I had a lot of fun playing this one. Amazing job!
Thank you for your feedback! You mean when you bounce off of the pillow or when the pillow bounces off the ground? Your jump height is based on your speed when you land onto the pillow and pillow only bounces once and it'll lose some momentum after the first bounce. Thanks for playing and i'm glad you enjoyed it!
You fit the theme perfectly with this clever idea! The arts and sounds are very great. You might add more animations though. Having the ability to use a controller is really good. The ui is clean and overall the game feels really polished!
Thank you for your game, and well done!
Your game design skills really shine in this game. You slowly introduce new mechanics in clever ways with hints to help. The difficulty is very well balanced with incredible levels. Usually in games like this, I find myself getting frustrated. However, this one just felt like a challenge and really made me think.
I REALLY liked how you made it so you could not cheese the levels by standing still for a long time to make the shadows stand still later.
The game is super polished. The graphics are amazing. The way you credit the songs in the bottom left as they start playing is nice. The controls were perfect with no complaints at all.
I have no feedback for you. This is a perfect Jam Game in my eyes. Well done!
I really cant find anything to suggest, this game is so well polished!
Maybe make the ghosts a little bit brighter to see, and also a countdown timer so the gohsts dont spawn out of no where to scare you.
But anyways, great game and well done!
That's a really solid game! The idea if well thought out and implemented, and the game is very polished.
Good job.
I'm normally really critical....
But like... I can't really come up with any problems with your game. lol.
Other than maybe an indicator for when the ghosts are about to spawn.
man this game is great :)
good job :)
the controller's aim could be better but it's nice ^^
Thanks for your feedback! Any tips on how to make the controller aim better? I'm not very good at playing with a controller so most of the feedback I got was from a couple of my play testers who prefer a controller and they said its fine. In case you didn't know, you can aim with both analog sticks. I hope you enjoyed the game tho!
when I tried it. I was only able to choose a direction with the controller (right or Left ) and the distance. in my opinion if you have the pillow go any direction that I am holding with my right Stick with a fixed amount of force. I would have enjoyed it better (because I need to master the pillow throw). but don't get me wrong I enjoyed playing your game :)
Pretty awesome what you put together within a week there! Only thing to bring up is probably that there is no indication when your ghosts are leaving the portal. So it happens that they surprise you just as you about to leave the level.
Really great game! Only missing point was I dont know if the music perfectly fit the game. It wasnt bad but I didnt want to give a perfect score and I DEFINITELY couldnt take from any of the other categories. One thing to note is that the pillow throwing wasnt easily controllable. I dont know if that was by design but, yeah...
Thank you for your feedback! I'm sorry it didn't feel easily controllable. Can I ask in what way so i can maybe fix it? The throw force depends on how far your mouse (or the little transparent dot if you're playing with a controller) is from the player. I know i didn't make it very clear since I wanted the player to play around with it to get a good feel of how it works. Thank you for playing though and I hope you enjoyed it at least a little bit despite the pillow throw issues!
Hi! Thank you for your feedback! There's an option to enable that in the settings, perhaps i should ask the player if they'd prefer that or not when they first launch the game cause a lot of people miss that. Personally didn't want it on by default, but it was requested by my play testers so i added it as an option :) Thank you for playing and im glad you liked it!
Beautiful art and very well put together. I like how the enemies trace the movement you made earlier which gives the game a bit of a puzzle element as you have to be careful not to make things too difficult for yourself later. Minor bit of feedback is it would be great if you could get your pillow back if you throw it too high so you don't need to restart the level. Overall, the game was fun and challenging, great job.
Thank you for your feedback! I was contemplating if i should add a feature like that, but decided not to due to lack of time so that i can sort of choose where the player has to go as the level designer, and i believe it'd make the game a little too easy. Some areas i don't want the player to go in before X has happened if you get what i mean. I do also understand where you're coming from and i'm trying to come up with a solution that would do that without making the game to easy since i plan on expanding this project in a direction where i need this to happen. Thank you for playing and im glad you enjoyed it :)
