I like the concept and how you've made use of shadows! Makes the game look really good. Need some more musical components I feel but other than that It was a fun experience overall! Keep at it :)
Would be great if you could check my game also <3

The player must collect Orbs to have enoough light to reach the end. It is not possible to finish the games without collecting enough Orbs.

I like the light feature you implemented and how you used godot's shadows. It adds a lot to the game! Wish there was some kind of mysterious/dark/eerie music in the background though. Moving was also a little hard to get used to since i could only move in 4 directions, not 8 like i was expecting. Some kind of counter showing you how many orbs you've collected out of however many there are would also be nice. I had no clue how close i was to finishing the game. I think i found 2 or 3 and then i died :p Overall pretty good!
I loved the anxiety of the shrinking light around you, trying harder and harder to see if you run too close to death. It was hard sometimes moving in different directions I think due to you not being able to use 2 directional inputs at the same time. But I love the concept. Great work!
Hi, I loved the idea of leaving the orb trail a la Hansel & Gretel! I did not read the game page, so I did not know what to do. Maybe a tutorial would be nice. Also, it would be cool to be able to use fullscreen, I tried ALT+ENTER and F11 but couldn't. Really nice!
I like the lighting and the idea that your vision diminishes as you go further. I haven't found the gold orb yet, but I like that you sometimes have to take risks to find another point to restore the light.
A few tips:
You can't walk diagonally right now, you could think about implementing that.
When you walk in a really long, straight corridor, you can't really tell that you are still going forward, so maybe you could avoid long corridors, or give the ground or walls a little more texture. Although not too much, because I do like the clean look.
Thanks a lot for playing. I agree with all your suggestions and I'll surely improve this game later. I just loved the concept and knew I had to build something quick. I was planning on adding a walk sound but couldn't because of a bug and low time.
And congratulations on finding the Orb. I'll tell you a secret. I was initially planning on adding a boss fight, where you must collect the power from the Orb first. See the blank room above the room you start in? It was were I was gonna place it. But again, couldn't because of time constraints.
Thanks again!
