So sorry for the late reply! Your kind words really mean a lot. I'm planning on returning to the game soon as I burnt out finishing the project for the course deadline. Gonna take it slow and not scope to big but hopefully it'll turn into something awesome! :)

Thank you very much! You make a good point about the powerups also. I'll add that to my notes to make it easier for the player to understand. Some exciting things coming next update :)

Thank you for the kind words! I rushed the level design a little bit and I realised cause I was making the game that's how I could complete every level so fast. I need to take a step back and think from a new players perspective so I'll be working towards improving the levels :D

Thanks for the feedback & kind words! I've just reworked the player movement so hopefully that should help for now but I'll take a secondary look at the collisions and try and fix them accordingly!

Thank you very much! :) I've fixed the jumping in the 1.01 quality of life update. I really appreciate the feedback helped a lot :D

Wow this is awesome! When I saw you were already subscribed it put a massive smile on my face :) Thank you so much for the support & I'm really glad the tutorial helped you with your game! Thinking about it now when I was playing it I can totally see the resemblance. Like you said yourself intuitive not using the particle system! As for feedback this will help you'll be glad to here I've changed the collision with the guy & now it automatically completes it. I've rebuilt the platforming system so coyote time will be added soon & done some over all improvements. Glad to see you enjoyed it & best of luck! :)

Thank you <3

Great game always lovely to see a fellow GameMaker entry! Playstyle is great for these type of games shame I suck at them! Still managed to get to the dashing scorpion so I'll take it. I loved the little things like the particles and trails of rockets. Really added to the game feel! Keep it up :)

Would be great if you could check my game also <3

Really great game! One piece of feedback is that the camera is a bit sharp. When double jumping especially it feels very snappy. Might be nice to have a dynamic one or something that predicts where the player is going based on input? Other than that I loved the art style & music choice. Keep up the great work! :)

Would be great if you could check my game also <3

I like the concept and how you've made use of shadows! Makes the game look really good. Need some more musical components I feel but other than that It was a fun experience overall! Keep at it :)

Would be great if you could check my game also <3

I love this game! The art style is simply beautiful which makes playing it great! I do feel however the battling system could do with a bit of touching up but other than that a great game overall! Keep at it :D

Would be great if you could check my game :) <3

Neat game! I really like this concept & take on the theme works really well. Music is great also :) Keep up the good work!

Would be great if you could check my game also <3

Great game! I really loved playing this one :) Some feedback I have to say the camera was rather confusing at times so a second look into that would really help the feel of this. Other than that the controls felt smooth & it fitted the theme really well! Keep it up :D

Would be great if you could check my game also <3

Awesome game! Love the idea of moving through channels to repair the remote. It's a really unique idea which definitely makes this game stand out! I feel a few more sound effects would really add to the environment but other than that keep it up! :)

Would be great if you could check out my game also :)

Great game really enjoyed it! I loved the style of rating that you get after completing a level! Definitely a good direction :D Keep it up.

Would be great if you could check my game also :)

Thanks for the kind words I really appreciate the feedback taken it all on board will apply it to future patches :) <3

Thank you! I've fixed the slope & input issue you'll be glad to hear :) I appreciate the kind words on the art & atmosphere :) <3

Wow some definite undertale vibes! Makes me really happy to see love the style you went for. The art is creative :) Also I can't input multiple keys and do 8 directional movement. I know sometimes this can boost hspeed/vspeed but there are some good ways on how to achieve it in game maker ;) Keep it up!

It would be great if you could check my submission also! :)

Great play! Had a lot of fun playing through this game. I understand that this was based for keyboard inputs but sometimes having the mouse as a attack option is nice. Also on the menu took me ages to get the one I wanted to click cause pressing up and down was too sensitive other than that really good build!

Would you be able to check out my game? :)

Great game made me laugh a lot! nice controls and fits theme :D

could you possibly check out my game? :)

Really awesome! loved the intensity and music was a really fun play overall. Graphics are great! Just missing a little bit of juice I feel but other than that keep it up!

Would be great if you could check my game also :)

Really neat game! Love the music and how the spaceship moves, wasn't to hard to handle. Maybe you could add in a little 2d explore mode when you land on a planet could be interesting!

Would be great if you could check my game out also :)

Great work! This game was really calming to play through and the music was amazing! Keep up the good work :)

Would appreciate it if you could check my game out and give it a rating <3

Great fun really enjoyed it! The theme matches very well keep it up! :D

Thank you for the kind words! Checking yours out as we speak :)

Wow what a great game! definitely underrated the amount of work you finished in 7 days is crazy! Love the art the intro the music it's just all so great. Keep at it :)

I'd really appreciate if you could check out my game and leave it a rating :)

Thank you for the kind words & great feedback :)

Glad to see the bugs are working for others cause I've managed to fixed the slope mechanic as well as add in a short delay before the run starts! I'll take a note of the difficulty. I realised after reading feedback the only reason I think the timings are fair is cause I played the game for the whole week haha where as others haven't so I needed to think from a player's perspective rather than mine. This feedback reinforces that so I'll be taking it on board :)

<3

Really liked the game! The controls feel a bit floaty when jumping not enough resistance but other than that I love the art style and the music you used! Keep it up :)

Thank you very much for the kind words! Funnily enough I just fixed the slope issue! Got some way better mechanics in now for the platforming :)

Going to check out your game now! <3

Thank you 3Koozy! No problem also :D

Thanks for the awesome feedback! I'll definitely be looking into coyote time/more levels. Currently trying to fix the platformer movement as we speak! :D

Good game definitely got me in rage mode! Would be a great mobile release :)

Would be appreciated if you could check my game out

I get you! The coins add around .25 seconds worth of time so 4 coins equates to 1 second. Timer is hard to track so that may be why it wasn't noticed. Thanks for the other feedback though I'll definitely be changing level 5 to make it easier as I've had feedback for it <3

Played & reviewed! :)

Great idea and love the lasso idea! A shop or maybe some kind of way to use the deer as a currency would be great! keep it up :D

Oh wow, I didn't expect this Jam to get me in my feels but it really did! Amazing work with some graphics this game could be a real hit! Keep up the great work :)

Checking it out I'll leave a rating also :)

Thank you so much for your kind words I really really appreciate it! :)

With the jumping off slopes I totally get you. I'm using a really janky collisions system so I'm going to have to fix that for post update & I'll definitely add a indicator for power ups. Maybe a character colour blend?
