Comments
+ Liked the art style
+ Animations were cool
+ Appreciated the intro, though I feel like there could have been some player dialogue when he discovers he's dead
+ Lighting was cool and atmospheric
+ Differing cameras were a nice touch
- Hit a bug when I fell through a hole in the floor and the level zoomed out and nothing happened
- Another bug, when I went towards a door the scene changed to the new room without me opening that door, I was then stuck on the wrong side of the door! Thankfully I had a key so I could open it and continue
- Sometimes the "walk" animation just froze while I continued to move
Very cool game! Absolutely loved the music. Walking around as just the head though felt needlessly slow and with such large corridors it wasn't really keeping my attention. It was great getting the torso and moving much faster, so I will say the difference in speed felt good. Also great job on the lighting effect!
Good game! I really enjoyed messing and exploring around. I just hoped that the player movement could be a little faster and walking diagonally would trigger an animation. Still, good entry and a good game!
It'll be nice if you give a rate and a feedback on my game too if you get the chance :)
Great game had a lot of fun playing it, and love the music. My only recommendations are for the first level is to make the rooms a lot smaller and less empty, bumping the movement speed a bit for when your the head, but after you get the travel and exploring is much of a problem. Make sure your replay feature works I had a lot of trouble with it. Great entry.
If you have the time I would appreciate it, if you would rate my game as well.
A polished game and an interesting take on the theme! The game is fun to play and explore, and i really like the lighting effects that you have used. But sometimes, the darkness caused me not to be able to see where i should go, making the exploration a bit aimless and slow. Anyways, great game!
Sweet idea! I think this concept is awesome and a great take on the theme. I wish the player was a bit faster and the game had some more bug fixing/polish (e.g. if player is moving up to keep the player animated) but overall nice work!
Hi there Juvenes :) , thanks for playing our game and giving feedback :D
you're totally right , kind of expected for jam submition wouldn't you think :).
the zoom part definitely needs more work , but it was intended so that the player only can see what's inside the room he is in ;)
definitely will take your comments in consideration for the next update , thanks for dropping by ;)
Great idea!!
The scene change is a little buggy and the zoom change between them is a little strange, but can be just me

Interesting game overall. I would have liked if there was less walking and more action or doing. The maps seem too long or you could add like some extra enemies
Hi there Miguel Morgado :) , thanks for playing our game and giving feedback :D
you're totally right , there were plans to add more interactions / items to fill many of the rooms , but sadly we didn't have time for it >_<

Heyo, I formed an opinion on what to say after playing, but I see it's mostly the same as comments you already received! I really like how you implemented the torches as light sources, but I was hoping there would be more of them. Really nice artwork and music compliments the spooky theme very well.
Some rooms/hallways would be pitch black with no reference where to go so more lights we be nice. It was a welcome speed boost once I got my body back, but I fell into a hole shortly after and my little skull man never respawned.
Hi there Woolamander :) , thanks for playing our game and giving feedback :D
you're totally right , the hole and falling mechanics were added last and didn't have the times to re-balance them at all >_<..

Love the Art/Music and the plot and dialogue were great, but I lost interest after still being just a head after 10 minutes moving at a snail's pace in the dark. I went into a few massive room where I couldn't see anything and spent an entire minute or two wandering around the room just to realize it was empty?
Improvement suggestions:
1. faster movement OR make finding your legs happen a lil earlier so you don't have to move so slow for so long. Being just a head isn't fun, but it is good storytelling.
2. idk if you get this once you get arms, but a light around the player would be nice so that your not in complete darkness. It doesn't have to be realistic/make sense for there to be a light on a skull.
Thanks for trying our game and leaving feedback ;)
definitely there was big plans to fill all of these rooms and even cut some of them out , but as you know sometimes you don't get time to do everything before the deadline >_<
as for the light idea , it is already implemented that how you can see you enemies and object in the darkness :D
I really like the spooky horror atmosphere to it, though I do find it a bit aimless and got lost in the darkness. A possible improvement could be maybe some hints as to where they are or maybe a simple mini map. But over all, nice job!

You know, initially I was very confused but after giving it some time it really was a great experience with funny dialogue and nice music to go along with it especially in the dungeon. I agree with the other comment, you should definitely give the player a goal or purpose but overall very nice prototype.
[EDIT] Just found a bug, I got my body and made a choice to go in the right door. I kept going until i fell into a pit and it doesnt let me do anything. Definitely want to find out what happens next haha.
Good luck jamming!
yeah , I noticed this bug several times after submition deadline , basically the collision boxes for the player and the pit needs re-adjusment , where the pit thinks you have fallen while you aren't ^^".. the idea was is that you need to find both your arms and legs in this level -> which will unlock the ability to jump over pits so you can move on to the next final level ;)
I loved the graphic style! The whole world/dungeon felt alive and colorful. One thing that I noticed is that an overall concept/purpose is not presented at the start. This led to me being confused throughout my playthrough. Other than that nice job!
Thank you for your feedback :) and glad you enjoyed out little project..
you are totally right , the game needs a little bit of explaining and giving the player some background of the story...
but you know how it goes with time limited jams , sometimes you don't have the time to make all the ideas in game >_<
