Its a great game! I enjoyed every bit of it, I loved the music and art of this game, although I don't know how you utilized the theme "There And Back", but other than that great game!
Thanks so much, glad you had a blast! As for the theme I kinda went with going "there" to switch into the ghost form and going "back" to go into normal mode. Definitely could improve balancing though but I am very happy you enjoyed! :D

Pretty fun platformer! The main feedback I have to give is that there's not much point in leaving ghost form. Your bullets hardly do any damage to the slimes, so there's almost no reason to leave ghost form. What I'd add are some platforms or hazards that can only be crossed by your solid form. I'd also decrease the map size and remove some of the collectibles, because it can get very tedious trying to find the last 1 or 2 bags that you missed.
Thank you very much! Yep, ghost form is over powered in its current state haha. I do like your idea of having different hazards for different forms as that would make it more interesting. I kinda did run out of time as I wanted to have different platforms for the different forms but it turned out well enough for the jam. Nice little platformer. Most of the points I would make have already been raised in other comments like the lack of need to leave ghost mode, and navigation being difficult due to the large sprawling area. Otherwise the only glitch I encountered was sinking into the floor when dropping from a large height which led to me having to restart if I couldn’t die.
But a fun little experience, controls felt responsive enough, style was consistent. Good job!

nice idea there and back at dimensions, really nice possibilities to explore. could be nice a total counter, so player can know how many collectables are missing and try to beat the clock. great work.

Fun idea! I can see a few interesting puzzles you could come up with what you have here.
I have a few things i'd like to mention though. I think the background was a little too noisy and that made it hard to focus on the character itself. Now i'm no expert, but i believe one way to fix this is by making all the background colors closer to the same color. That's what i'd do at least, but like i said, im no expert so i have no clue what i'm talking about.
Another thing is that the slimes didn't give the player any feedback. Maybe add some shooty shooty sounds, maybe a hit flash and screenshake to make killing slimes more like a fun thing to do than just an annoyance i jumped over. I also think they had a little too much health.
With a little more tweaking, i think this'd be a really fun puzzle platformer. Overall really nice for a 7 day game! Good work!

Really interesting power-switching mechanic, although I felt the switching could have been utilised a bit more - at times I found myself just staying in ghost mode. Definitely scope to flesh out this idea into a bigger game though, nice work!

Awesome idea! I like the movement and the ghost mode, definitely there and back! Got 5 mins on the first one and I really appreciate a volume slider :D Just one thing, maybe a map? It could be useful so we know where we're off, or maybe just like a general direction arrow, I was going around for like 2 minutes looking for one thing... Either way great work!

Very nice level design, also music fits perfectly, choosing the right track for your game requires artistry as well! And controls feel very good, something rare for jam platformers!

Great game, its fun to play. There were a few collision issues in which player just went trough solid platforms, but other than that it was very well done. First level took me 4:18 to beat :). Congrats on your entry!

Nice game well done. Seemed to be really well implemented, and the movement and jumping felt great. Music was nice too. I would say balance wise, I didnt come across many reasons to go out of ghost mode, most enemies could just be skipped. Maybe something like you move slower as a ghost, or you can't pickup gold would encourage you to swap more?

Pretty fun game !Can be easily expanded to full release.Movement feels nice and easy to control.

Sweet concept on splitting platforming from combat to make the player make tradeoffs. I wish the levels were shorter and had more enemies but I still had quite a bit of fun exploring the levels and platforming. Great job!

Cool concept and can be made into a bigger game. I got an issue tho that sometimes ghost doesn't land on tile especially when falling from a high place. And some balancing between the normal and ghost form cause I didn't bother to switch back to normal form that much. But overall, I like the game :)

Sorry to hear that :( , I should have specified that you have to get all 50 coins in the levels as fast as possible. Definitely know for next time though!

Really cool concept pf switching between characters!! There are a few bugs but tbh we all have them xD Only thing I could add is I found myself staying in Ghost mode rather than Non Ghost mode because I could still run faster than the enemies. Still a great game, had fun playing it!!!

The idea is really cool, I found the ghost mode super refreshing to regular platformers, though I did spend most of the time in the host mode as there just seemed to be more to offer while playing as the ghost compared to the regular person. The art is simple and adorable, and the music fits perfectly! I enjoyed this game a lot!
