Now that I think of it that would explain why you weren't among the people who thought it was too hard lmao

Thank you! Yeah I knew I had to make it easier than I thought, but it was late (well, early by that point) and I got possessed by the buff-the-shit-out-of-my-game demon and I couldn't resist, I also love precision platformers. I didn't want people ignoring the time fields I guess. For what it's worth, the challenge mode's timer is considerably more forgiving.
Cool game! I just got frustrated because it felt a little too unforgiving with having to go back to the start if you died. I'm not totally against the idea, but in this case it felt like dying wasn't your fault because if you had an obstacle you couldn't clear with your current weapon all you could do was wait and try your best to not get stung too many times. Still, good game!
B J and M were awkwardly placed in my right hand, and Shift was weird for being the only "special" control that I did with my left hand. Maybe stick with arrow keys for movement and use C/X/Z/Shift for the special ones? Though keyboards with small arrow keys would struggle more. Or WASD for movement and HJKL for special ones? Not sure.
Also when I clicked Restart the music went away.
Thank you so much! That's some really good feedback! I realized as I was making the levels that there was a very tight line between making the levels too hard and making it so that you can just pass through all the time fields without thinking. And all the level design was a bit rushed to be honest. (And here I was before uploading that it was all too easy, I literally buffed level 4's timer after uploading, I never learn 😖)
... you like how what now? That might've been a bug lmao
Thanks! Yeah I know the dialogs were a problem, but I didn't know how to better implement them. At least they only show up once.
On previous versions you could press any button to advance the dialog, but I removed it because I was having issues with the input being held down when nothing was pressed, but I'm pretty sure now that didn't have anything to do with my game. Oh well.
