this was pretty original and i love the controls - good job!

Thank you! We're going to add some keyboard binding options because apparently it's really hard to play on non-QWERTY keyboards

Played both single player and coop. Liked single player, loved coop! I don't know if you intend to make some procedural generation, but it would sure make it a great party game.

Developer

I always love to dabble in a bit of procedural generation but I'd only ever add it if I didn't feel like the levels were too random. I'll have to come up with some mildly complex rock placement algorithm. Already made some more levels for after the rating period has ended. Thanks for playing!

Damn son. My girl and I thoroughly enjoyed that. I was like "Will you be... my black guy..." XD

I can absolutely see this being a MarioParty game or something like that. I played it by myself, but I think it'd be even more fun with another person. Also, it seemed that if the float was popped that affected the movement, and if so, that's awesome. Great game!

Developer

Yes that was the intended effect! I've seen some players actually use it to their advantage and push them onto the beach

Interesting concept, I love the sound effects.

Developer

Thank you for playing!

A very fun game, and incredible job for being able to implement multiplayer! The graphics were very neat!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Your game is great as well!

fun game, I loved the voice overs, but I couldn't play much because my sister rage quit XD. It really felt like a wii sport/wii play game !

Developer

It's great so many people say it reminds them of wii sports because that was one of our main inspirations theme wise! When I play tested it with my parents both of them just ended up rage quitting too :'D. You can try and play it as a single player though! It's easier than it looks once you get the hang of it. Thanks for trying it out!

Seems like a fun co-op game! The faces of the characters aren't my cup of tea but aside from that, really, REALLY fun, at least in singleplayer.

Developer

Yeah we can appreciate they aren't for everyone :'D. We just thought it would be funny to put our faces on them. Thank you for the kind words!

Submitted(+1)

Interesting that you came up with an idea for a coop game that can be tried with one player without an AI. Props to that. The game fit the theme like a charm and I can see playing it in coop being super chaotic with your friend !

Good job !

Developer

We're glad you enjoyed playing it!

This game is very cool! I played it with my brother and we had a lot of fun, with a bit more polishing it will became Amazing, keep working on it! good job! rated! please check out my game too :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the kind words! We're already working on a new version for when the jam is over with more levels and more polishing. I'll check out your game in a bit!

I love the success/fail voiceovers, it reminds me of the Wii Sports announcers! The music has a real beachy/fun vibe that fits the game perfectly. I also enjoyed the character models' faces. It's cool that is can be multiplayer too!

Developer(+1)

We're glad you like it! Wii sports was the exact vibe we were going for :D

OH NOOO!

Very funny game! And the idea is really good! A bar to show how strong the next stroke will be would be great.

Submitted(+1)

Very funny, played with my friend and we had a good time. I would maybe add a bar to indicate how strong the next stroke would be, maybe something like two radial bars (one for each player), just to help understanding the best moment for doing the movement. Also to help one player to know when the other player is already preparing it
Overall it's a fun mechanic and controller!

Developer

Thank you for playing! We were going to implement something similar to this but ran out of time during the jam but are hopefully going to work on the readability of it for afterwards. Thank you for the feedback!

Nice game man! I especially like how hitting a rock results in a leak that actually provides some thrust. It was challenging playing alone, so I can't imagine how hard it is playing co-op.

When I saw the cover of your game I was quite hesitant to play it, because it didn't look appealing. However, the game was actually a lot of fun and from the top down perspective the 3D models look fine. So, I would definitely advice you to change it to one of the top down screenshots.

Developer

Cool thank you for the feedback! I'll do that now

Submitted

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that some sound would be nice as well. Though, I guess you probably ran out of time.

Developer (1 edit)

Oh there was sound! One of my team made 3 tracks and all the sfx over the course of the jam! Edit: (I just downloaded and play tested it and it still works so I think it might be something with your system. If you can't get it to  work let me know!)

Submitted(+1)

Yeah, you're right it was my system.

Submitted(+1)

Really clever idea, it's pretty fun to play and the visuals also go very well with it. Well done! :)

Developer

Thank you for playing it!

Submitted(+1)

That was really fun.  I think it was a nice touch, that the escaping air gave the dinghy some velocity. I didn't play it in multiplayer, but I imagine that to be a lot more chaotic (which is a good thing^^).
(PS: nice flamingo :D)

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thank you for playing! I'm thinking that we should actually shift the focus to being more single player oriented because most people play it that way and still seem to get a lot of enjoyment from it! (PS: Your flamingo is very nice as well :'D)

(+1)

Great graphics, nice game! I included it in my GMTK Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Developer

Thanks again for playing it during your video! We wish you well on your quest to play every single game :'D
