I really love this concept of card based movement, its really unique and the puzzles were really fun to solve! I really hope you expand on this further and will be watching for the update you mention in the game bio!
Really nice puzzle mechanic! I can see a lot of potential for really good puzzles here. I'll play the post game jam version so I can get past the impenetrablelevel 5 :'D
I really liked this one! It's a solid base for a good puzzle game. Unlucky for uploading the wrong build, I know the feeling
Really liked it. Nice art and music fits perfectly. Good job!
Really enjoyable game! The mechanic was clever and fun to play. The only confusing thing was the tilesets used, because i thought the darker tilersets were walls. So when i could move through them it was very confusing, and i wasnt sure why they looked so different. Loved your art otherwise. Good job!
They are indeed walls, unfortunately the fifth level on the jam version is bugged and has most of the collisions disabled. I plan to fix this once rating is over.
Good little puzzle where the control are the piece of it. Not the most original take on that concept, but well executed. Pixel art is good. Music a bit to intense for the genre, so would of take something a bit more relaxing. No sfx unfortunatly so cannot judge on that. No bug encountered, so overall good coding.
Overall good job on the weekend !
cool. Five start for everything. I'm surprised you managed to do so much in just 48 hours! It's amazing. If this was on steam, and it had more levels (the level 5 bug is unfortunate) then I would probably buy this.
The puzzle design here is great. I love those moments when you realize you can take advantage of certain mechanics and incorporate them into following solutions (like walking into the wall to waste a move). You know the other bugs. Overall I enjoyed myself.
Interesting concept ! I couldn't pass the 5th level though because of collision detection bugs, but people already mentioned that.
I like the artstyle, cute and sufficient for this type of game, and the music suits the game. Very enjoyable ! Nice puzzle game.
I wish I could try more advanced levels to have more content to try. I'm waiting for a fixed post jam version !
I liked the game idea and mechanics. Good job!
Interesting concept, but needs more polish. The collisions are broken on the mandatory actions and the level design could use some work.
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I ended up not leaving myself quite enough time to polish up the level design and in the rush to submit I accidentally left some collisions disabled on the fifth level.
Unfortunately couldn't get past the fifth level but up to that point it was a nice experience. I liked it!
Thanks! Unfortuantly the 5th level is bugged in the jam build, but I'll make sure to fix it in the post jam version.
Interesting concept for a puzzle game. Great job!
The game is really good! here's a few bits of advice: you can change your sprites' rendering filter to point(no filter) instead of Bilinear in unity so the pixel art won't be blury (you can add a pixel perfect camera component too.)
Regarding game design, it wasn't obvious in the third or fourth level that I just simply could walk into a wall to cancel my move since it was highlighted with red.
Other than that good job!
This game is great! There seemed to be something strange happening with the second door level - I was able to walk through walls! That didn't stop me from thoroughly enjoying myself though. This one is one to watch out for :P Fantastic work!
Thanks! Yeah the 5th level accidentally had some collisions disabled, gives a good lesson about not submitting 6 minutes before the deadline though!
this game is Amazing, one of the bests of this jam! the concept is very cool, please continue it after the jam!
Got me a little frustrated at the beginning, but that makes it relevant to the theme, so great work!
Cool idea, like what the ToSMaster said though, it's not clear which moves were to be made by the player or the computer. Using different colours on the cards will help greatly! Nice to see a good puzzle game made during a gamejam.
The idea is awesome! Great use of the theme! This could really be it's own full game!
Sadly we couldn't figure out the second door level (the one in your screenshot), try as we might! :(
It wasn't really clear at first which moves the player does what which not. Maybe do some color coding here? Same with the ground, at first we mistook the ground for wall tiles.
Much love, great job! Awesome puzzle ideas!
