Ranked from 25 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does your game fit the theme?
You must drive the taxi to collect all the people and then take them to the destination. Once you have succeeded you will then control a new taxi doing a new route. However all past taxis you controlled will be driving the routes you chose. The more cars you put in the scene, the harder the game becomes. You no longer have the ability to control them , and the world becomes more and more OUT OF CONTROL

Great game! I'm pretty bad at driving games, so I found it quite hard :D. I really enjoyed the concept, I like the idea a lot! It's also nice to have some destructables like the boxes and trees.

I can see why there is the time limit and why it's going down. I didn't like it though, it was stressful. I'm thinking that if you drive slowly and unefficiently, you'll have a bad time dodging that car later - that's what I'd like to see developed more. I had a fun time nonetheless :). Very well done!

Fun game! I included it in my GMTK Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!

Nice game, I had a lot of fun with this one! The way the game gets more naturally more difficult as you keep playing is smartly designed.

Developer

Thanks for playing! We were really happy with the mechanic and glad that you had fun with it too!

I love it! Probably my favourite thing about Supermeat boy was seeing the glob of your past lives get widdled to nothing so having a game where the mechanic is avoiding your past selves is a blast.  I only wish the driving was a little easier. As it stands I find it hard to reach a state of waaayyyy to many cars for this town.

Great job and an awesome idea thanks!

Thanks for playing our game! Yeah the driving definately takes some getting used to. Glad you enjoyed it though :).

Even though it isn't "Crazy Crabs", it's still an amazing game :D

Thank you for submittig your game to the stream, I really enjoyed playing it. The concept is just super cool, I have seen a lot of "time mechanics" in games before, but never like this. It's also clear that you designed the missions in a smart way, because very quickly I started having trouble with my old routes colliding with my new ones. Is it still roadrage if you get angry at yourself?

Awesome job! :)

Thanks for taking the time to play the game on stream! I appreciated  the feedback you gave, especially with regards to the arbitrary time limits and we totally agree. Crazy crabs will be the next game hopefully! :)

This game made me remember so many good games from the times when I was a child who likes crazy cars/taxi staff :D
Not sure if "pre-exisitng" art means that you used your own old visuals, or from the Internet, but in any case, the visuals, the music and the game are all put together nicely. I would love to play that on the mobile devices. We deserve more games with taxi drivers! Great game

Thanks for playing our game! Glad we tapped into your nostalgia ;). Appreciate the compliments!

Very cool seeing a 3d game. The gameplay is fun!

Developer

Thanks a ton! We'll get a web build up one day ;

really fun game with a great music! it was really fun trying to make the turns at the right time! I would like the option of one coherent world instead of levels a bit better maybe but i can see how that can quickly go out of scope for the 48hrs.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for taking the time to play our game! It seems like the level thing might be  a sticking point for some, so when we iterate this game we will definitely  try a single more coherent world!

This was really fun. The driving felt good. The good music gave me a badass taxi driver feeling. I didn't even care that I was running over my clients. I like the choice of roof colours. It's a pleasant aesthetic for a top-down city game.

I wasn't aware that there was a score, time, or lives until I saw the screenshots. That info is hidden on 24:9 monitors. It was fun despite this.

Developer

Thank you for playing our game! Glad you enjoyed the game and the aesthetic. Im sad to hear to hear about the screen size issue :(, but we shall look into it! Damn small screens :p.

Good job! I found a bug: if the time runs out, and the car is still going into the direction of the delivery point, then you can still win the game and go to the next level
Other than that I enjoyed playing the game, the car controller is smooth

Developer

Thanks for the note on the bug! Someone told me that literally a minute before I saw your post :p! Thanks for playing our game!

The car's controls felt really nice, and I enjoyed the slight puzzle of remembering which key corresponded to clockwise/anticlockwise steering. Found the lives system a little frustrating, but I realise it's a highscore game so completing many levels isn't really the point. Well done on getting this done, and good luck in future!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing our game. It seems like quite a few people took issue with being limited to three lives. Maybe we'll try a version without lives after this rating period. Thanks for playing our game!

Amazing! The controls, art stile and music are great!
I had some problems with the game over screen, but this kind of bugs are normal in a stressful 48h jam.
Congrats for the result.
Oh!! And I really loved the "Mondrian" city!

Developer

Thanks for playing the game! The Mondrian look was unintentional but i totally see it now!

This is great! Controls felt good and the music was a nice touch. The art style gave me an old-school GTA vibe, which was awesome! Great work.

Nice little game :) I'm sad that it has lives though, as I would have liked to see what came next. If you had time would you play and rate our game as well? <3 https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/692904

Developer

Thanks for playing out game! We hadn't actually considered not having lives :p. Might be interesting to think about. Thanks!
