A like the idea a lot and the controls feel really good. Also a quick tutorial is something which a lot of games are missing. Maybe adding some indication where the player is going to fly would help to better aim the shots.

Nicely done! If you do add in a trail this would definiatly make for a great mobile game.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I really liked this! I've played similar games before. I think as other commenters have said, it's pretty hard to hit the tiny satellite, but the controls feel good! Another thing I would consider is making the edges of the map bigger so you have more chances to "orbit" around the stars and hit the goal.

Developer

Definitely, I think my favorite part of the game is just seeing how many times I can orbit around things or make weird maneuvers, so I really want to highlight that more. It's a hard balance giving enough room to do those sorts of things without things getting too small, but hopefully I'll find the sweet spot. Thanks for playing!

Some of the levels are really precise, so it would be nice if there was a ghost or something of the previous launch point to compare to. But overall, really fun, intuitive, and good looking game.  And the level select menu was a nice touch. Agree that this would make a great mobile game. Nice job!

Developer

Thanks for the constructive comments! A ghost trail is definitely priority #1 in the next iteration. Glad you liked it!

Great Concept! As a player, I really enjoyed the play through and the way I was thinking with gravity in your game really made me feel smart after finishing each level. As a participant of the same jam, seeing other developer dives into a similar field I have chosen but with a completely different approach puts a big smile on my face!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah, it's really cool how we both took a similar interpretation of the theme and ended up in different directions.

Neat concept, could be a fun mobile game if it was more polished.

Developer

Thanks! I think you're right.

Really fun concept! The one thing I was really missing was a little line to show me where my last shot went and how far back I dragged the astronaut last time. That would've helped me hone my shots more easily.

I think if you get some more graphics and add more levels, you could make a really decent game out of this! Good job! I enjoyed it.

Yeah, I wanted to add a trajectory line both before launch (to help aiming) and after launch (to see whats been attempted) but unfortunately didn't quite get it to work. I definitely think I'll add more in the future. Thanks for playing!

I seem to get stuck on the level with the planet. My character just gets sucked into it over and over. Am I doing something wrong?

Developer

Try launching slightly diagonal to the sun and the character should orbit around it. Try at different angles and strengths and you'll hit the goal. Thanks for trying my game!
