The game is pretty fun the creepy atmosphere is on point. If there is more time to work on the art it will be the perfect horror game.
Fun upto a certain extent. It is pretty easy to hit an enemy and avoid hitting the civilians, should increase the difficulty by adding a new feature like time for next correct kill.
Loved to play as John Wick to be honest
The atmosphere was suitably creepy, but I did not really feel the sense of being out of control. The controls themselves work well enough, and the difficulty ramps up with each kill, but it feels incomplete, like it needs a game loop or a particular challenge to master and improve on.
The idea behind the game is the player's mental health going out of control. And yes it does feel incomplete, because it is XD
Really cool atmosphere!
Wow, what a dark game. It kind of reminds me of some moments of TV shows, where a character is tasked to murder, and the characters mental health gets more worse. Great approach! 5/5 for the originality!
Thx :3
I think you can add a store to spend money, which could provide players with incentives to carry on the murder.
Grim thoughts, what if killing innocents in fact yield more, way more money?
having goose bumps just by thinking of that.
We were talking about adding a store, but we felt it didn't really fit. Also we wouldn't have had enough time. Thanks for the feedback!
it looks good, but it is quite boring.
Yeah, the game is lacking in gameplay elements. Kinda ran out of time :/
Cute art style! I like it when you earn money in a game
I made 2000$ before I lost control! Very fun! I learnt that random murder is bad for your mental health which is a good lesson to learn! I like the little cutscene when you kill someone. Game is a bit minimalistic though, but thats okay!
A bit too barebones for me, but I also ran out of any time to finish off all the things I had planned too, I think the unity default colour background makes it extra obvious though haha
Haha lol
This game makes me go YES!
Just like [REDACTED]
Love the atmosphere :) Hard to get that in such a quick game I think
Very neat game! Definitely has potential be expanded on past the original 24 hours!
Nice concept and good take on the theme of the jam. To further develop the game:
Overall good stuff!
thanks for the ideas! The last one is already a thing, but only the people in a certain radius around the kill run away
The game had cool effects and definitely gave off a creepy vibe.
I could immediately feel the creepy/murderous vibes before I even played the game from the thumbnail! I love the idea that the player is losing control as your progress and I'm glad you start getting paid more than 5 bucks to kill someone XD
A ncie take on the theme that didn't take control away from the player. Well done :)
thanks!
Losing control over your insanity is a unique idea. Nice game!
This game is very morbid feeling though it feels like that's the intent and it's spot on with the animation for when you stab people. I wish the people didn't spawn in and out so often. I like the weird feeling to the game that comes from the music and the grainy effect. Overall it's an interesting experience
Honestly I find the depictions of both mental health and violence pretty tasteless in this game. The way the game depicts murder and the lack of meaningful alternatives in game play implies either the game wants me to murder a bunch of people harming the characters mental health or to turn off the game and do something else. The message is pretty much a bleak "Let psychosis get worse, or do nothing"
That was not the intended message, but I do see why you may think that. Other options were planned, however weren't implemented due to time constraints. Nonetheless, thanks for the feedback!
