Awesome.

Damn, as Mark played your game on stream we were really hoping that he wouldn‘t play ours next cause it would have looked bad in comparison. The concept and the juice are both so much on point it‘s incredible. I‘m quite sure this one will be at least in the top 100. It‘s one of my favorite games in this Jam.

Awesome mechanic and even better execution! Game feel is really good as well, great job!

I like how this game flips the concept of most twin stick shooters on its head. The challenge comes mostly comes not from the enemies, but the friendlies you have to keep alive. The big bulletstorm thing is both a blessing and a curse. Didn't affect my rating, but this game just screams unity to me (Don't know why, it just does)

Yes it‘s made with Unity, I‘m 100% sure as well. The whole polishing looks like the standard Unity Image Effect trickery. But I don‘t think thats a bad thing at all :D

Spot on :)

(Not to mention the Unity logo on bootup as well hahaha)

One round was all it took to get 5 stars from me. The visuals and sound feel like something that could be made in an awesome LittleBigPlanet 2 level, and that's pretty great if you ask me. The shooting mechanics absolutely fit the theme, and it's just really fun.

The visuals are absolutely fantastic and the gameplay is solid. The only gripe I have is that I think the player moves a bit too slowly, but otherwise great game!

Developer

Thanks a lot! I bet you didn't know that you could use Space to Dash! We did a poor job of making that clear.

Hi I love the visuals! I think you'll our game too! It is a little bit similar!

Submitted(+1)

Really simple concept but super solid execution! The game is really stylistic and really satisfying to play and watch unfold! Only thing I would really recommend is to maybe tweak the movement of the player's regular state a bit more to make it a bit more satisfying to move around and attack because as of now it is slightly sluggish.

Developer

Thanks a lot Kreekakon! I'm not sure if you knew you can use Space to Dash. We didn't make that clear at all. But regardless, we are still working on this game and freedom of movement is on the top of our list :)

Okay, it's really nice! I like how the game is swarming with cool ideas, your health-bar is actually an ingame entity that you can shoot, bonus to collects transform into ennemies with time, ennemies blending together! It's great and, well, the out of control part is really out of control ^^

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing Quentin! Your game is great fun too :)

Game feels like a blast to play, meshes well with the theme, and has an energetic aesthetic to boot. Overall an excellent game!

Really cool concept! Love the simple but effective visuals, paired with great particle effects! Very well polished.

Great work!

I have to give this a full rating. There are so many interesting mechanics that I'm not going to list, though the fact that you have to protect something that's not you makes it really original and the second game state with a lot of effects (I'm saying this only for advertising) is similar to my game, so why not give it a try :P
But I have to admit yours is very polished, balanced, and damn I love those effects!

Developer

Thanks a lot! Glad you had a lot of fun. I'll be sure to check out your game.

Lots of neat ideas in this jam. The "control" bar instead of health, how enemies split and join each other. Love it. Really juicy as well.

My eyes hurt! But in a good way. Well done.

Looks great, awesome stuff!!

The "out of control" sequence was super unexpected, it was crazy and super cool! The combat itself was pretty good, maybe make the player move faster while out of control?

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Did you try using Spacebar to dash? We noticed many people didn't know you can dash, we'll be making some updates to make sure people know about this ability in future!

Quirky and juicy little game!
The out of control aspect was really cool, changing the game from saving the green blob from the reds, to saving the green blob from yourself.
Really nice work!
If I had to nitpick, it would just be that the player moved around a bit too slowly.

Great game. I love the change in aesthetic when the player loses control.
