Great physics and game feel! Maybe a minimap and adjusting the hook size when you're hooked would have been nice. Great game!
I loved the way you move in this game, though I don't love the random gravity. I know it's meant to be out of control but still. Overall really fun tho.
Neat idea! It would be cool to add some momentum based movement, but it was fun to try to catch myself as I fell when gravity changed! I loved the death animation!!
Really neat control method and great overall presentation! The grappling hook feels great to use and there's a definite learning curve that feels great to master. One minor suggestion I have is it might be helpful to give the player a brief warning when gravity is about to change allowing you to plan ahead and pull off some really cool tricks
I personally enjoyed level 3 the most, those red atomic test subjects are super fun :)
I wonder what's the highest score in end level? I scored 2694, is that high enough?
And if you had time, I'd be thankful if you play my submission <3
The game is super fun! It also has nice visuals and it has a nice concept! I also like how you put the story before the level start despite of time restrictions... It seems much of a finished game for jam game.
Great Job!
The aesthetic and game mechanics reminds me of those old games on Nitrome! Really solid game and even more impressive that you did all the sound and art during the jam. We did the same and we know how much extra effort it is. The music really fits really nicely and the whole game feels very cohesive and polished. Well done!
Oh wow, really clever idea and very fluid mechanics! This game is a lot of fun. Well done!
Hey good game! Feels complete and almost not like a jam game. Fits the theme really well. One thing I wish is that maybe the camera could be a little more zoomed out when you are standing still, hard to see any obstacles or enemies when camera is so close to you. But I thought it was very well done! Also enjoyed the "AAA level cutscene technology"!
Finally, a game with the grappling hook mechanics! It was something that I needed, but I didn't know about it ahahah.
I absolutely don't understand how much experience should someone have to pull off such a game on only 48 hours, the game is so well balanced and executed. And not only the mechanics, but the art and animations make the game come alive so well. Truly visually appealing and captivating. If you have an interest to continue working on the game, keep up with it, the potential is high :D
The weight and gravity feels just right, great job as always PJB and co.! Although I do not trust the ethics of this scientist person here.
Lots of potential here, I think it would have helped to have the camera zoomed out some more to be able to line up shots, but what you've got is really fun to play with :)
I enjoyed your entry very much, one of the funniest entry in this gam!
Nice work! I liked the how "Out of Control" the gravity was and I really enjoyed the graphics. Well done! :D
I love grappling hook mechanics and your springy animation for it was very satisfying. I wonder how it'd feel with moving the camera when gravity shifts so that gravity is always down. I often found myself unaware of which gravity was in while swinging around which often made me hit walls and lose my momentum. Great game!
Absolutely enjoyed this game! I was stuck in level 3 for a while (but that was kinda my fault for skipping the part of using shift / space), but once I understood how to play I loved it. Really loved flying at high speeds grappling onto enemies and dashing through them. Keep up the good work!
