Protagonist's flying is outa control, shooting outa control, they change on each run, yo never know what to expect. Although you try to help your friend, the more you try to control him, what happens will only be more out of control.

Fun idea, I liked that I could also grab the enemy bullets. The presentation and the story is cute.

Thank you! Hope you had fun playing my game

It’s fun, It could use more variety in obstacles, maybe power-ups or different types of bullets to spicy up, but it’s a good game.

Thanks for the suggestions! I would definitely add those into future expansion of this game.

Nice introduction. Great mechanics, I like the idea of moving bullets (and that you have no control when these bullets appear at all). Nice particles, screen shake and sound effects, these add some game juice to it.

I like the art, but one suggestion here: when doing pixel art, consider keeping pixel size the same on all assets.

Excellent job!

Developer

Thanks for pointing that out! It must be the problem about my work flow. I made the characters with piskel, it's nice for animation, but not as good at building a scene of things and compare their size, the biggest problem is that I did not pay attention to the object sizes in my prototype, which leads to the different scaling of sprites.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I'm glad you enjoyed my game.

Really good game and take on the theme! I find the idea of the out of control being an incompetent pilot that you need to help cover for really nice. The presentation in the game is really good and I like how the game ramps up by eventually having enemies shoot their own bullets which you can also grab

Developer

Thank you very much!

I implemented enemy projectiles so that it can compensate for the rising enemy numbers. Originally, I was hoping to create scenarios that you throw those projectiles away from the ship, however, with the current ship behavior, its very hard to dodge bullets.  A lot could be improved.

I'm glad that you had a nice time playing my game.

Pretty good game! It was really polished and I really liked the main mechanic, it felt so original. Definitely a fun to play game, I enjoyed a lot.

A fun and interesting mechanic that I'd like to see developed further. It is weird how the bullets are unaffected by gravity until you bounce them up, and the limited space feels a bit claustrophobic. The music and sounds help set the mood, and the story matches the gameplay nicely. Great work!

Developer

You have a good point! I think that if I can make the ship smarter, dodging bullets by itself, i may be able to expand the area to allow for more interesting maneuvers. Thanks for playing my game!

Developer

Thank you very much!

I do plan to expand just a slight more and slam it onto app store. Would try to implement more wild player and enemy behaviors.

I love the animation my character does when I grab a missile. Neat little game with a simple but fun game loop. Great job!

Developer

Thank you for your compliment! I'm glad yo had fun playing my game

The squishing animation does bring life to characters very economically, I learned that from blackthornprod's YT unity tutorials.
