The artwork is bloody fantastic and the choice of different controls a nice touch. The recoil of the gun feels a bit much though, a solid entry all round, well done!

173 is my best score so far. The sound didnt work in my firefox. Its intense and funny. The power ups are also good.
If you make another one, add some more space betwen the player and the edge of the screen, to give the player more time to react. Overall att great game.
Grate game style spent so much time playing this to get the best high score got 211. Constructive feedback would be to make it 2:1 ratio after the jam because of the small screen the best tactic is to spam shooting left and right in one spot
The cracking up mounted head cracked me up. :) The world needed a new Splatterhouse with an Evil Dead theme, and you delivered!
Oh, guys. I've spent a lot of time playing this. I wonder if controls could be changed, at least assign jump to the space button. Because jumping with "x" a little bit challenging without gamepad. But everything else is great. Thanks for the game.

i give it 7/10 groovy but i hope you can update it adding more things i have some ideas like ash in the title saying "groovy" and some deadites making sounds like "dead by dawn!" and more gore and a better barricade because they are useless and a waste of time they break in 3 seconds

Absolutely fantastic! Really captured the spirit of the films through the low-rez art and nifty chiptunes. Super addictive gameplay and the powerups are rad! My high score is 232.

I love Evil Dead and all things Necronomicon! It is hard and really short... I can see this concept be expanded into a more deep experience, but for a 2-week jam this is pretty damn impressive. Great job!

It's simply too good :-) hard as hell (at least for me, playing with a keyboard) but graphic is really gorgeous and action really rocks. A very impressive game here - congratulations :-D

It took me a while to get that you could barricade the house. For a few game, I thought the tree on the right was a boss. Force of habit, I guess. Once I got it, I truelly enjoyed the gameplay. Great game !
Even though it's been only a couple of years since Evil Dead tv-series ended, this reminds me how much I miss this franchise. I dig your representation of the cabin, characters, iconic moments of the movies... even Delta is there! For me including Freddy and Jason feels a bit out of place when otherwise this is heavily focused on Evil Dead movies. (Also this is fanboy speaking: I know it's too much to ask, but I wish there was some Bruce Campbell one-liners every now and then!)
As a game it was a nice little pastime. It took a couple of runs to get the hang of it. I didn't notice barricading was a thing for a while and then I wasn't sure if it was worth even doing, because those enemies that come out of the windows are so easy to kill and even then barricade holds for couple of seconds. Maybe if it gave you like 5 points or gave you a boost on item rulette it would make more sense.
Great graphics, perfect usage of space available on this tiny resolution. Sounds were ok, music got a bit repetitive.
Got 251 on my best run. I might have to beat that score later.

Boarding up the windows actually has an effect on how often the bigger baddies spawn in. I didn't explain that anywhere though. Whoops!
Great work, gang! Balancing the movement and weapon kickback was a good challenge and the pick ups were a nice reason to make me move around a bit. It was also very quick to restart a game which great UX.
