Single person project. Worked on it on spare-time for about a week. Was inspired by the bob-omb NPC in Paper Mario Origami King. Had tons of fun but was super-tight schedule-wise since I started late.

This game is a joy to play, the artwork is clean and cute, sound and music suit the game perfectly. Great entry!

I think this is my favourite so far. What a super unique idea! And really nicely executed. I love the almost rhythm action feel it creates, and I started to anticipate the timing of the detonations and use this to navigate around. Great graphics, sounds, and polish. Nice work, thanks!

Very cool game. Seen a couple games where you are not in control of your jump, but this one had the best rhythm to it (no pun intended). The world felt pretty fun to explore, and the art and music compliment each other quite well. Took me 13 minutes to find the water, but I did break 1000 coins! Very cool game.

It's amazing how something as simple as a white outline can really make a character standout. Very polished look and feel to the game. Nice game!

This game is a blast! I have the ask: are the green coins frog coins? I wouldn't mind a Kerokero Cola.

This looks super well polished. Love the outlined sprites. maybe the bg could have been less noisey, but it works. Congrats, lovely job! Please check ours out too: https://itch.io/jam/lowrezjam-2020/rate/732044

I love the idea, and it's really well implemented with all the platform mechanics and keys for destroying different colour blocks.

I especially like how the explosion timer is synchronised with the music - after a short while I didn't have to look at the bomb timer at all because it just fit in with the rhythm.

I'm really impressed with this - great job!

Very well executed and lot's of depth to the bomb mechanic! Enjoyed playing this one.

This really imaginative, original idea--a rhythm platformer. I really enjoyed this, the graphics are delightful, I liked the music.  The controls are crisp and responsive, I didn't encounter any collision bugs either, so all in all, a really fun, original platforming experience. :)

Here's my playthrough:

I thuroughly enjoyed that game, the graphics, the sounds, it's all very satisfying. It feels... Comfy! And there is a lot more to the level design than I first thought. Great submission!

Absolutely amazing game! Sometimes a bit frustrating, but that's ok.

Pico is such a good engine! Very cool concept!

This was a fun game! Gets a little frustrating in places, but the graphics are great!

Fun and quirky little platformer, i was impressed that you matched up the music to his explosions, excellent touch!

A really nice (and for my original) game - I like it and while it's simple as mechanic it's addictive :-) - congratulations
