I did everything wrong I think and loved it :D

Nice to see another narrative game! Really clever how this places you within the shoes of a language-learner - clever and funny take on the theme! Great look to it too

Really funny one, I really like how it leads you into believing that either option is something that can help you if you just knew which was the right one - but you're actually always saying something completely different. Had a lot of fun with this one! Cheers

I'm all about the art and music! The story really captures the feeling of being oppressively unaware of how to get around in a strange place with a language you don't speak, which is something I've probably done a few too many times in Europe... It was a little odd that I could still elect to leave when I was getting thrown in jail, though. Really great approach to this year's theme!

Neat art and take on the theme. Text moves a little slow and the UI seems a little janky at times though.

Love the presentation and style of this game. Interesting concept for a visual novel!

Very fun and very out of control! I had no idea what I was doing for most of the time but at least I found Charlie.  At one point when I went back to the hotel it looked like people were speaking but there was no art just an empty room. Really fun game good job!

We had planned an explanation of why they couldn't use their phone, cause they didn't have the correct power adapter and it had died, but forgot to put it in the plot.

We used the star wars scroll cause it was a quick and dirty way to put a bunch of info in the player's hands so they could get to the actual gameplay part of the game as quickly as we could. Post jam we'll be re-writing the script and removing the limitation of having to get to the crux ASAP cause people who do play it afterwards will be more likely to stick around for more than 2-3 minutes to get the point.

Really neat idea! I think there's a lot of potential here if you expanded the story and was actually eventually able to decipher the language. After four playthroughs, I couldn't figure if there was a way to avoid the bad ending at all. Love the art, though! Keep it up!

To avoid jail reach the park, leave and then come back. that unlocks the cafe, then visit the cafe twice. The Alley is a safe place to visit several times because the police are clearly not checking there since the suspect man is actually selling knock off sunglasses (getting those sunglasses was something we had to cut for time).

Thanks! I went back to get the good ending. Can't leave a game unfinished!

Very fun little story! It's interesting to play since it all feels so random; but it definitely makes you feel helpless and out of control. Excited to see what you do with it in future updates! Good job!

Managed to find my wife at the end! Was a good trip going along the whole game trying to figure out what those two options meant. Definitely feel like the concept can be expanded to be a lot more ridiculous if you are looking to post-jam.

Pretty impressive presentation for 48 hours. Interesting concept, it's a good take on the theme and fits really well. Great job overall!

A great idea, and well put together. I especially like the music.

It was neat experience, I must have missed some clues along the way however and still don't know what I was saying except that it was inappropriate.

Neat! :) Lovely art style, and interesting concept! I would've loved to learn a little bit more about how the language works, though! Got to the jail ending, and had a big grin! :) Thanks for making this!

The art and design were really nice and fit the tone well.    I absolutely love the concept of waking up  and not understanding any of the language there, it definitely felt out of control (also the usage of Solfege was awesome).   Only frustration I had was it didn't feel like my choices mattered, though if that was part of the design I can understand it, though it wouldn't be my cup of tea.

Loved the style!
