How does your game fit the theme?
The levels are out of my control as the Dev with level generation coming from seed from tweets to #speclucky hashtag. As people keep tweeting at #speclucky, it will keep creating new levels with new generation! Tweets take 5-10 min to update to be included in the game.

really cool game!

it would be great if the game was able to read tweets in real time instead of having to download a new build. looking forward to the post-jam build so i can play my tweet!

That tweet that says it takes a new build is outdated. I read the jam rules about build updates about an hour before the deadline and updated it to pull tweets when the game boots up. Should update after about 10 min! Real time would have been awesome but I couldn't get it set up in those last few minutes!

oh wait how does that work? do i have to have the game open for 10 minutes for it to work?

Nah reboot it 10 min after the tweet. It pulls them at start up but my automation to pull tweets and push them to the file it checks runs every 10 min

well I just realized I restarted my machine & that stopped the automation. Turning it back on now. Sorry for all the confusion my fault

I love the idea of tweets creating the level. You really ran with what Mark said about "take control away from something the developer usually does". The art style is good too, I like that cover picture, and shooting feels really game juicy. Felt really compelled to play till the end!

Definitely played because of the image :).

Very cool concept, very funny as well. But I do feel like this game isn't completely finished, as I clipped into a 1-block gap in the wall on the first level, and fell through the floor in the second. I also had no clue you could shoot with K until I started pressing buttons randomly.

Still, this game is fun to play, and I finished it. Well done for 2 days of work!

Thanks for playing! Wish I could go back and fix the clipping. Found it right before the deadline 🙃. Bunch of people have gotten trapped in that first level. And I didn't realize I made K a shoot button either 😂 I thought it was just X.
