I like city building games, so I really loved this one! Great atmosphere and gameplay. Congrats!

Great idea - I really like hexagonal tiles here. I really like this one, the music sometimes gives "Surviving Mars" feel, which is nice (its maybe a bit too diverse for my personal taste, but it might be a plus to someone). SFX limited to UI fits well and addds responsivenes, but I think they are a little too quiet compared to the music, and Im not sure if there is an effect when I select a tile, sometimes I think there is (on a landing pad) but sometimes I dont hear it. Dont know really :) One little thing in resources I would like to have is amount of free houses (I know I can count it, but I have a feeling a direct information about it would not be bad).

I fund a little bug, when you restart the game after 10 deaths the volume slider goes down to 0, but the real volume stays as it was before. Nothing big, but its there ;)
I miss a little 'go to main menu' button, for to check the story or hard- restart i need to reload a page.

There is nice potential to expand if you ever want to go that way, and the top UI is really (really) neat!

Hi, indeed our SFX weren’t very developed (we only have sounds for the construction and menu buttons), but adding sound to bring more life to the game is a great idea.

For the UI, displaying the number of available houses would definitely improve the user experience. The challenge is to find a clean way to show it without overloading the interface, maybe by adding the number of avaible house next to the total number of houses.

Thanks a lot for your bug report, I’ll fix that in the next version.

Your feedback is really helpful, thank you!

well i was the last hope for this earth and i missed it up xD , i liked the game idea and how it plays music and sounds were pretty good and yet the gameplay was fun but i think i failed humanity 😁

Developer

Thanks for your comment, I’m glad you appreciated the game :D

I liked the challenge of balancing resources and space. It was satisfying to see the colony grow. A bit more feedback on game over conditions would help.. I missed why I lost a couple of times. Music and visuals fit well. Good job.

Developer

Yes, we received other feedback about the lack of information on what causes the game over. We added a description on the little skull that explains "at 10 dead you lose", but it was definitely not enough. We should probably write "number of dead / max deaths before game over" instead of just the number of dead, and maybe also add a short explanation on the game over panel. Thanks for your feedback, it's really helpful!

Woooooow!! Greatnoir, a very fun game, this looks like age of empires in the space, you should try develloping htis game more, it's a great idea.

Thanks for your comment, it's really encouraging :D

This is great, one of my favorites from this jam. Well done! 129 people is my best attempt so far.

Developer

Good job 129 is a great run. And thank you for your comment, I really appreciate it.

I loved how well you fit the theme into this game! The idea was great and the execution was fun and done well! Well done!

thanks for your comment !

I really enjoyed it! I love this type of game, and you’ve managed to bring out its charm beautifully in your project. I think it would be great as an extended version where you could colonize other worlds and maybe have obstacles on some tiles that you need to remove. I’d love to hear more about this game in the future :)

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I think I will definitely try to continue developing this game. Thanks for your comment, it's really encouraging! :D

A tiny SIM-city like game on a smaller scale. Nice!

Developer

thanks !

I really got into this game! I built up most useable space, then was focused on getting more power plants in and forgot I needed more greenhouses. LOL Great job!! Really nice game. I like the aesthetics, the music is great!

Thanks for this friendly comment, I really appreciate it!

Great game and concept, loved playing it. The difficulty is perfectly balanced, as all things should be. It took me a few tries to figure out the right strategy x) Very good job!

I’m glad you appreciated it :)

Cool game concept. Having to do some resource management is always fun. Nicely done!

Developer

Thanks !

It's a good start of a Moon colony management game. I suggest turning the sound on by default, because it lacked a bit of ambient background, but it's not such a big deal. Good job !

Developer

Indeed, it was not planned for the game to start without music. Thanks for your feedback!

What a fun game! Took some time before I got the balance right of when to build what, but seeing that moon get populated hits the spot! Thanks for making and thanks for the special build so I could play it <3

Developer

I'm happy that build works :) And thanks to you for showing me this Unity build setting. I should definitely check it out for my next jam!

Awesome game! I really like the concept.
I love these kinds of strategic games with resource management. Great job!

Developer

thanks !

Very nice looking game. I built myself into a corner by not constructing power a power plant before I ran out of building spaces and couldn't find a deconstruct button. I would definitely play this game more. Well done!

Developer

Thanks for your comment! Indeed, once you start stabilizing your colony, the next challenge is managing the available space, which can also be quite difficult ^^

Cool resource management game! I found myself lost on why I was getting gameovers so having an indicator for the reason why I lost would be very helpful.

Developer

Hi! The game over happens when 10 people die from starvation. This is indicated in the info box when you hover the mouse over the small skull or the number of deaths. But I agree, it can be hard to notice. I think for the next version, I'll replace the death counter with something like (number of deaths / limit before game over).

Thanks for your feedback, it's really helpfull!

Played this for a good bit, trying to get to 250 but could only get to like 100-120, pretty fun and challenging. The music didn't seem to play the whole time, but otherwise, great job.

Developer(+2)

thanks for your comment !

Impressive resource management game. Took me a while to get the correct strategy down, but such difficulty is welcome. Could've used some SFX for the tiles and UI, but the aesthetics and mechanics are sublime. Well done and keep up the good work, you two!

Developer(+1)

Hi, we've already added some SFX for the buttons in the game. But yes, your idea of adding sound effects for the tiles is a very good one (maybe when they are selected or just when the mouse hovers over them). Thanks for your feedback, it's very helpful!

Submitted

I also found it quite challenging, especially since at some point I couldn’t build anything anymore even though I had workers and stone. But I think what you’ve created is really cool—the game looks great and I love the mechanics!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback :D Can you tell me what’s blocking you from building? Is it the lack of powered tiles, not enough space on the moon, or maybe a bug?

Submitted

I clicked on a free spot on the moon, but all build tiles stayed greyed out for several rounds, and I couldn’t place anything anymore. I had stone, workers, and plenty of people—so I’m not sure what went wrong.
