Wow! What an awesome game to have made within the jam time limit. The narrator is very well implemented, the procedural generation is awesome and I can see the Bastion influences at play!

This game has some very good polish, lots of little details. I didn't make it to the boss :(

I would have liked the narrator sound volume to be higher compared to the candy collection sounds, but that's the only nit pick I have.

Well done!

Really fun upgrade game :D Your take also fits really well with the TV theme, and I really like the animations in the opening sequence, very evocative.

I could probably spend hours playing this. The upgrades come quickly and you can immediately see their effects.

There is one technical issue that didn't affect my enjoyment of the game, but the upgrade tooltips appear behind the nodes, making some of them difficult to read.

Awesome game, well done!

Cool interpretation of the theme. Getting some Doki Doki vibes , cute but also kinda creepy. It took me a minute to figure out how to get past the first jump, but the switching mechanic is pretty cool.

Only adjustment I would consider is maybe making movement slightly faster.

Great submission!

Nice tower defense game! I also liked the way you interpreted the 'feature that betrays you' part of the theme. My game is also kinda like a tower defense with a similar idea for the betrayal mechanic.

Well done! The game works, no bugs or anything that I could notice.

This game reminds me of one of the projects in the gamed.tv course :D Good job theming the game for Halloween, but I didnt' see the TV from the jam theme. Granted, I couldn't finish the first level.

Well done!

Cool story, funny dialogue...that guy is way too brave :D I like the visuals as well. Well done!

Thanks for playing! Gosh, I ran into issues with the lighting and WebGL limits to how many lights could be in a scene. In the end I had to fake it with emissive materials :P

I think this game has a ton of potential! I've never player Papers, Please...but I like using all the tools and trying to figure things out.

I think with some more time this could be really awesome! Well done :D

Two technical issues that should be easy to fix: Game window is too small, a full screen option would go a long way, and I'm not sure if there's supposed to be one, but when I focused on the game window my cursor disappeared.

Wow! Really enjoyed this one. It's fun to quickly try and pick which scares to get the best out of the groups.

And when I realized that the scares were also animated and represented on the house I was really impressed!

Thematically one of my favs so far :D
Well done!

Very nice game! It is quite difficult to see the vision of the baddies with their indicators going on and off. Adding the TV static was a nice touch to implement the theme, although it took me a while to figure out that that was it.

One of the better ones I've played for this jam so far :D

Well done!

Well implemented and very well written as well! I was taken in by the story.
Good job! I'll have to see if I can find all the endings :D

Very atmospheric! The game works well and I was intrigued!
But I could not find the second key at all :P

Well done! The game is nice and spooky!

When I died the sound and music went berserk :P  There's a lot of promise here, but you were quite ambitious for the time frame of the jam.

Well done!

I like the visuals and the sound design. The game is very charming and I enjoyed playing it.

Well done!

I was wondering about the theme at first, but the jam isn't necessarily a halloween theme, the TV is the theme and I think this is a pretty creative implementation.

Making 3 games for the jam is no small feat! Well done :D

I really liked the visuals, and the TV implementation is nice as well. I think the game could have had some sort of tutorial or something to tell the controls, and the options button didn't work for me.

But the package makes a cohesive whole! Well done!

Well implemented, I didn't encounter any bugs or weirdness. I like the color scheme, the TV effect looks nice.

Well done!

Thanks for playing :D

I feel like this is a condensed version of Death Stranding :D . The game is incredibly difficult, but that's the point.
I did not do well and I typically don't do well at these types of games, but I could see players that like to get high scores retry the game multiple times to get there.

Well done!

Interesting idea of setting up your own difficulty.  I also noticed that some enemies would spawn a bit tougher than others? That's also a nice risk added.
Well done!

Very cool idea! At first I thought 'Oh, nice. A Peggle style game' and then when I saw the roguelike progression of Slay the Spire I thought that was a nice combo!
Well done!

Nice little Vampire Survivor style game :) I could see have some fun with weapon or enemy variety. I really liked the visuals of the enemies and the main character.
Well done!

Cool idea, it looks like you were inspired by Papers Please?

I think you have an interesting concept and baseline. Adding all kinds of background info and misleading checks and things could make for a very interesting game :)

Thanks for playing!

Yeah the game could present the information a bit better, having popups or banners to present info as needed is a good idea!

If I were to continue with the game I would definitely refine the injury mechanics, and make how they work more obvious for players that want to understand how they work.

Well done! I like how risking stronger enemies for better rewards are implemented.

Thanks for playing! In the end the only 'ranged' weapons I managed to get in were the spears :P

And yeah, if I were to develop the game further I would make the rules about how things are applied more clear :)

Yeah I was planning on implementing odds later in the project...and then ran out of time :P ...Decided to focus on polish instead.

Thanks for playing :D

Really fun and replayable. The whole system is well thought out and the feeling of progression is great.
Played this one too long, now I won't get to many other games today :P
Well done!

Awesome game, really like the pushing your luck mechanic.
Reminds me of a board game called The Adventurers that has similar ideas of running in, getting as much as you think you can escape with and trying your best to get out.

I didn't do too well...because I got too greedy.

Well done!

Really enjoyed this. Captured the theme quite well with pushing your luck.

After rolling a 1 all my buttons stopped working.

This game could also work on a table top with multiple people. We had a game when I was growing up, called Pass the Pigs I think, that had very similar push you luck mechanics.

Well done!

Loved the art. The story is kinda dark, but I liked it :D I would have liked maybe one last chance to do some gambling to some more buttons at the end of night 5.
But overall I was very impressed. Well done!

Very nice! The camera following the mouse pointer made for an interesting trade off between accuracy and being able to see the enemies approaching the oven.
Well done!

Cool idea, nice music and interesting main character.

Nice twist on a platformer incorporating the theme! It adds a thinking layer on top of the precision jumping layer. Well done!

Hi there!
Here's a link to my game:

It's a game about betting on the outcomes of automated gladiatorial battles.
