I loved it! It's simply awesome, it has such a cool aesthetic and an endless variety of options. I'd love to see a final product based on this in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it :D
thanks for playing and the encouraging feedback <3
Very well done project. The visuals were stunning and the gameplay felt polished. Good job. The moving camera mid battle was a bit hectic/jittering
Thanks for playing! Yeah depending on what is happening the camera system is ok, but not great. A new and improved version was on the works but never made it in.
An incredibly well-polished game! SFX and music match perfectly with the game. Trying different ship builds and synergies is really fun. Even the game page looks great xD. I just noticed one minor bug: you can grab the EXP slider bar after a round. But overall, it's a really impressive submission. Good job to your whole team!
thanks for the comment and for playing :)
Spent way too much time on the page so we did not end up with a "oh yeah we also need a page " 30min before submission, not like that ever happened ;)
Thankfully the xp slider is display only so you should not be able to exploit the bug to level up xD
This was a REALLY well done game and I’m super impressed with how configurable the ships are! I didn’t have time to get into all the different options, but WOW! I made a handful of different ships and went thru a handful of battles. The only thing I would suggest is give the player control of the battle camera. Half the time the camera was pointing at something that was just sitting idle, while I could hear things shooting off in the distance. But great game!
thanks for playing and the awesome feedback :)
We were working on a new camera director but did not finish in time. The current one simply takes all damage and death events from the last 3 seconds and gets the average position of all those events. Worked well enough most of the time but we also wanted more / different camera shots.
This is really nice one, i like the sci-fi visual aesthetics, and also the music is very good.
Great job with the game. I enjoyed making nanos with different combinations of modules. The game has a great concept. Keep up the good work!
Cool concept, took me a minute to figure out how the game works, but after that the game was great
Nice, and it's very polished👍
Loved this. Feels very pro. Various build options, auto battle is good, music works well. I like this kind of game anyway, but you've done a nice job.
I found I was winning very easily though - maybe needs a bit of balance on the enemies' side!
(And I couldn't get the fullscreen to work, at least in Safari.)
Thanks for playing! It is definitely balanced in the favour of the player atm for sure, we did not want to make it too hard for those who are not used to these kinds of games.
I've tried to fix the Fullscreen, but don't have any iOS device to try it on, could you see if it works on Safari now? <3
Yep - works on my Mac now :)
Interesting concept. After the third round the game locked on me in the build screen where you put a piece of equipment on the cell.
Thanks for playing! Do you remember what module you tried to equip? will try to reproduce and fix
I could actually swap between the cells and click on the equipment, but I couldn't return to the screen where you could pick 5 cells to start. There was also a yellow bar in addition to the short red bar I had showing, and it seems like the cells were glowing more that usual. I probably had about 5 cells that I had already created. And I was about level 5. That is what I remember.
Ah, you might have overspent on the Modules, making it an "invalid" build. The bar in the middle shows how much "energy" you have available to spend, depending on the celltype this varies (but also costs more "unit points" to add to the team lineup).
Really cool concept! Designing your own nanobots and then watching them charge into battle is super satisfying. The aesthetic and music are great, and there’s so much potential here for deeper mechanics. I was a little lost at first, so a bit more guidance or a quick tutorial would go a long way—but overall, very impressive and fun to play. Would love to see this expanded after the jam!
Really cool idea that fits the theme well! The aesthetics and music composition were great. Like the comment below, hand-holding is needed; even after the first battle I still felt completely lost. Any plans to continue working on this?
Thanks for playing! Origional soundtrack composed by Frank for this game, as always he did a great job :) Also Gergoriik for making all the 3d Models and special effects. We are thinking about if we want to take this further or not, I think it's a concept worth exploring further.
Solid well put together game. Aesthetic works really well and the sounds compliment this. Mechanics are top notch, only played for a short period, but felt I needed a tutorial, just a little bit of hand holding would have helped me enjoy the game a little more. Great job folks!
Agree, we had an unlock system on the short list of missing features we wanted to add, this would have simplified the entry into the game by quite a bit :) Thanks for trying out the game!
