We are loving this game! We just had our first bad sun event, and when we walked outside it forced us to look at it but nothing else would happen. We would have to look straight down or our camera would be dragged to stare at the sun. I'm not sure if that is a normal event or if damage was supposed to occur and didn't, I just wanted to let it be known! We are using the latest version that was uploaded 11 days ago

I've bought Kerfur, only for it to dash somewhere never to be seen again. After remembering about him, I checked his camera - he was stuck somewhere underwater. I couldn't get him out using camera controls of the what I assumed to be river, as he couldn't climb up underwater ground. I tried searching for him, but never found him. I noticed on the radar that there was something in the river on the edge of the map, but still couldn't find him. After I returned, I noticed that the blimp on the radar is no longer there.
Brand new Kerfur proceeded to drown himself, with his body never found :(
It looks like you can insert 2 drives into the upgrade thing. The first drive was level 1 i think, and i accidentally inserted a second drive into the machine, which made it look like there is only one drive, but with yellow color(usually blue). Its not anything critical, as i can just remove them both from the machine (even though a little bit buggy), but wanted to note this out!
This can happen due to an old bug when this exact slot can't decide whether it has a drive in it or not (you might have noticed how you can't save a signal on an inserted drive after processing). Also, drives with a copy of a signals have these yellow lights (you can make a copy by saving a signal on a computer). Not sure why this happens, but it's harmless
I seem to have a very strange bug or two. I think it happens when I unpack a new version of the game, #1, when I play a new update, I launch it from the folder I unpacked it from, play a few days in-game (for this one save, it's day 5) I then save, quit the game to go to bed or something, next day and onwards, it opens from the itch.io client, the save is gone and I start the new update from day 1 again, from there it does save properly, and currently it is day 15, it seems I have 2 versions of the same build, if one is launched from Itch.io, it seems to be the one where I have progressed the most (which has two 0.8.1 build saves in there too which don't seem to have a date for when it was created, saying 0001.01.01-00.00) , if I launch it via the folder it is in (For me, it is C:\Users\(MyUsername)\AppData\Roaming\itch\apps\votv\pa0082_0012\pa0082_0012\WindowsNoEditor that is where the .exe is for the game) it will have the previous save that I first created (and there seems to be a 0.8.1 build save in there as well as a 0.7.0 build too, both are also dated 0001.01.01-00.00), I figured this out today while trying to run the game as an admin, doing so opens the game without my most recent save (the Day 5 save), while opening it via itch.io (anytime after I reopen the game a 2nd time after a new update and then) will bring me to my most recent save and doesn't seem to have an option to run as admin, I figured this all out solely to try and get some textures to work for custom rugs, pictures, posters and videos for the TV. I don't want to delete and uninstall everything just to try and get an absolutely clean reinstall, as I seem to have lost my day 45 save somehow, (either that or it's on the outdated 0.8.1 build of the game) so.... if anyone can understand whatever is happening with me right now, I'll gladly accept some help, if I have to stick with it as it is and not be able to use or view the custom stuff, that's ok, but I was looking forward to try and get some custom stuff working. Any help is appreciated, if I can find where the most recent version of the game (the one where my saves are still there, as both seem, to say "Pre-Alpha 0.8.2") and move them to the same place to where they need to be to work properly, run as admin correctly and show all my save files in one place, then I will be pretty happy.
If it's any help, I found the folder with the older (original) saves with little progress, so I just need to find the folder with the newer saves in them (and possibly the version of the game that opens with them) and see if I can move things around (probably into the original folder) to get them all to show up and work, as opening the .exe file directly seems to only load the older and less progressed save files, opening it through the client app gives me the more recent and more progressed saves.
Edit: running the game as an administrator also only gives me the version with the older saves, less progressed saves, it's like there's a secret folder with the higher progressed saves somewhere on the computer that I cannot find, another thing I have noticed is that sandbox is greyed out and that Solar isn't an option on there, despite it being 0.8.2 also, it keeps saying the file directory is in the same place but I cannot see how that is possible when opening it in two different ways gives two different possibilities on the menu while it remains as the same 0.8.2 build.... it is insanely confusing to me.
Is the save button lit up green? If not then the signal isn't done downloading. The signal needs to be fully downloaded and detected. The download percent is below your energy consumption and the detected percent is in the video/picture of the object you scanned. If you have updated one more than the other they can finish at different times. I do also recall a glitch i've had where my downloading console stopped working and i had to reload.
softlock bug: Rozital Scouts on day 33 do not leave, it passed more than in-game day and they are still there, iam unable to sleep or do anything basically because of them, tried to reload the save 5 times, they bug every time, they just stand around base and dont go anywhere else
possible solution: to activate winter mode, then the one who gets trapped in water do leave, btw that one rozital also is trapped in same placed where kerfus and kerfus-0 is stuck underwater
Hello! when running the game in my monitors native 1440p res certain light sources most notably the over head ceiling lights in the main room of the base flicker.
The only solution i was able to find was running the game at 1080p res. Has anyone encountered this? is there as setting i can change to stop this other than resetting the res to 1080.
I want to run it at 1440p so i have an easier time alt tabbing between programs while using thew game. Also the issue doesn't seem to show up when recording on OBS if that helps diagnose the issue.
I know the radio is obsolete, but if you put it in a scrap box or an item with a name on it (open container), the radio will just attach to it like chewing gum, and then if you pick up the radio and throw it away, it will just livitirate where you threw it, unable to pick it up or take it to inventory, but the radio itself will work.
Sitting on something (chair, sofa) then pressing the wake up button (Esc) would not wake you up until you stop sitting (in my case standing up chairs/ATV is binded to Q, so if I'm sit-sleeping I need to press Q then Esc to wake up)
Separately, player model just stands there when you're sleeping (1), disappears if you sit (2). No idea what (3) is, but that's how Kel looked like after sit-sleeping (crouching? shrunken?)

i think its the whole winter thing (not saying the winter thing is a bad idea) but its just the navigation for the ai
When unzipping the game with 7z, there's a message in the little log thing that says "Data error : pa0082_0012\WindowsNoEditor\VotV\Content\Paks\VotV-WindowsNoEditor.pak". Upon trying to start the game, the error message "Failed to open descriptor file ../../../VotV/VotV.uproject" appears. I have tried redownloading the 7z file, to no avail.
Okay. I literally lost Kerfur. I usually find him quickly. I didn't turn it off, we crossed paths at the base, I went to get hash codes, and he went to fix the servers. The day before, he threw up. So I come back and I see this, like it's turned off:
Yeah, I already looked for him on radar, he's nowhere to be found, just the quad bike. I've searched inside the base, outside, in the river, although I use winter mode for kerfur so it doesn't get stuck. He's literally disappeared. I think something went wrong with the missing kerfur event, I think? Could that have happened? Can add a respawn function for kerfur in future versions if he does get stuck under the map?

First time playing here and havent put the game down in like a week (its amazing thank you), but I notice that the AI likes to get stuck in the bottom of the river? Ive had Slapper events never clear, deer that never reach the base, and of course our beloved baby Kerfur all just get stuck in the river and cant get out. I have had to use the debug scrape command a lot to just be able to sleep since whenever an event creature gets stuck in the river i just fall over forever from exhaustion until i clear events. Its extra frustrating when the slappers never reach the base since to my knowledge they dont appear on the radar so I cant even run into them to finish the event. Some help would be appreciated. My assumption might be that the nav mesh is wonky because it seems that all creatures that path to the base or from the base have a 50/50 chance of wandering into the river.
This was filled out on the form, but I decided to post my bug here just in case someone has a fix for me.
I'm unable to hold onto anything. When I drag an object, it falls out of my hand almost immediately and I can't use the signal downloader since I can't "hold" the knobs.
UPDATE: Okay, so an immediate update but apparently I still can drag objects. I still drop them sometimes but it's now labeled as "finicky" instead of "impossible". Still can't use the knobs, however.
UPDATE 2: Completely restarting the game fixed it. I'll still keep this up just in case it comes back and I upload a video of it in action.
nails seem to completely detach, become frozen still or become wildly out of place when reloading the save, anything that i've used nails on have either become permanently frozen in place or flung out of the map due to random physics gore
this is quite annoying since one of the primary things i use in decoration are nails, and it keeps turning my base into a mess every time i reload
Had a music play that wouldn't stop
After searching for more info I realized it was because of the event with the evil robot thingy, apparently it was stuck under the map so the event wouldn't ever stop but I couldn't get to it either. Couldn't find a solution so had to abandon my save cause the constant music is hell x)
Also had lots of issues with the robot going underwater and getting stuck there, it probably needs a different pathfinding protocol when it's underwater cause it happened really consistently making it pretty useless.
Ambient Mode, day 44, vanilla game no mods, Extreme Combat turned ON
around 20:00 on day 43 i've found a gray boar beyond the fence around the array. After i ran back to base, found three blips on the radar two of which are gray boars as well.
Not sure if that's a bug or not, but as far as i understand they spawn in as part of a story mode event, they are also the only story mode event that appeared in this save.
However, before that (not sure on which days, probably around 10-15) three random events also went down - the superfog, the warp dart on top of the tower, and the empty base
All behaved like normal events - no ability to save, pause menu didn't pause the game, in case of the empty base pause menu didn't open at all.
Yeah that could work but whatever is stuck, it is stuck somewhere deep because i cannot locate the source (there is constant banging but after scouring the whole base I didin't hear loud banging so to know where it is exactly), it could be underground or in the big spherical thing on the top of the base but I doubt i can get it out. My best bet will be probably to stuff my base with white noise.
If you can't solve the problem you gotta kill it or something. That said I turned off props impact physics and I think I'm gonna stick with this setting for now. The game is still pre alpha so it is pretty normal for it to have bugs, especially given the fact that it's garry's mod style game, it is what it is. (also I lowered the roach count in settings at the start because they were causing lag)
For some reason with the new console in 8.2, when I go to interact with some of the switches and knobs, the interaction dial will appear as if it's a grabbable item. It's currently preventing me from processing any signals cause i have to hold e and scroll the mouse wheel to turn dials, but it's opting for just grabbing it. Guess Kel just has some really sticky hands???
kinda annoyed that every single model i imported over and made sure would work in the last update with the industrial printer no longer works, and i cant get any model to work. even the smallest meshes give me an error saying theyre too big. i was excited to use this feature again, its my favorite part of the game, all the customization. can you fix this? tried naming the files the same as the folder, tried naming them "diffuse" and "pbr", i even tried opening one in a model editor, which i dont know how to use, and still even despite shrinking the model with a tutorial in blender, still the model will not load. all i can get to load is this astolfo plushie i dont even want.
it was not fixed in the last 8.2 update for sure, many models wouldnt load, but also a bunch would. they were all configured the same way on my side of knowing how to mess with the files. either way i accidentally deleted that save like an hour ago right after cleaning up the third transformer fo trash, so I'll see in a bit now if it works again in this new save. but not all meshes seemed to work before, like they did in .7
(0.8.2b) Meta Paranoia stops working ~30 seconds after loading into a save, letting you pause and save when you shouldn't be able to.
This is best observed by standing next to William while "paused" after just loading into a save. The text should stop glitching after about 30 seconds, indicating Meta Paranoia has ended.

I don't know why, but the kerfur robot's pathing is so jank, that they end up stuck in water. Regular kerfus oftentimes get stuck near satellite sites because the base platform is less than an inch taller than it should be, as well as pathing near the river lake, often ending up in the water. As for omega kerfur, he just walks past the bridge and into the water, (As seen here (catbox.moe)).
Also the TAA is a real headache, I know it can look cool on screens, but it shouldn't look like that everywhere.
As much I love Winter Mode it seems to break things, not sure how or why but here’s some observations about what tends to happen. Spoiler warning for those that have not finished Story Mode.
During the 2024 Halloween event when turning on Snow Mode briefly the Jack o’ Lantern I the water hole next to the lake disappears, yet the one in the well stays perfectly fine. Durning Criken’s playthrough the Safe wasn’t where it was supposed to be, and for some reason was flung near Tr 1 and the Teleport log. Yet when I killed a pig the meat piles during Christmas Event, the meat pile remained while rocks, scrap, and meat chunks fell back into the water. What’s been theorized between me and some other is that items get launched out of the water when turning on Snow mode.
While the other main observation is Kerfurs and creatures, such as wisps and boars, tend get stuck in water a lot which was also theorized something about how Snow Mode affected pathing. Notable places they get stuck in river near bridge right next to the base, Kerfur heading towards Xray seems get stuck in river, somewhere between Xray and Quebec, even though they can easily move out of the river so not prevented by Terrain this time. One point when I headed towards the little island in lake near Oscar by Kerfurs were unable follow me up there, even though previously they had no problem yet turning on Snow mode they were able cross the water. Might be something similar to how entities were getting stuck on the ice during Christmas event.
Trying to play the game for the first time. Tried entering into the tutorial (only option). I was met with great confusion when the game plopped me directly in the world with zero guidance and no tutorial. It took me a great while to figure out that it did not put me in the tutorial at all, and instead into one of the other game modes. I would greatly appreciate this bug being fixed, so I could learn how to play the game
Played this new version and my game has crashed upon some "jumpscare event". I processed the signal and was listening to it, then I pressed "save signal" button and weird crap started to happen - everything paused and various colorful lines gradually appeared on my screen like my gpu was dying. And then at last everything turned to black and a "Fatal error" dialog box popped up. At first I thought that this was part of a jumpscare, but then I found out that it produced the Unreal Engine exception callstack:

Loaded up my save and it has such a low framerate that it is unplayable. Plenty of computer resources left in task manager. Normally after pausing (and going to a different window and back) or loading the game is like this for only 10-15 seconds, but this time it just won't go away. Disabling shadows solved the problem, but I've never had this problem before on this version. Is this a problem with my save, or something else?
EDIT: This only occurs in/near the base. However, I have never had this problem last long before and I am only using 66% of my total memory, with VotV only using 12%.
An ordinary kerfus, when he fixes servers, falls down the stairs and starts to behave inappropriately, I suspect this happens because he falls and does not start his way up the stairs again, but continues his way from the place where he fell, if I explained it badly, sorry.

0.8.2b So while Kerfur's pathing has been somewhat improved, it still needs some help from snow mode. I sent my orange one out, who never gets stuck on the satellites, and upon reaching Golf he started running repeatedly into one of the pillars instead of heading for the stairs. This is about when I went to check his camera and saw this exact thing happening. I activated snow mode, which solved that problem, but upon getting up the stairs he somehow got himself wedged between the catwalk railing and the base of the satellite. of course now that i've walked away from the computer to run over and get a screenshot of his location he's unstuck himself and is navigating the rest of the way up.
i think kerfur struggles to navigate the satellites while being watched lol. I tested the Golf pillar navigation without accessing the camera and from what I can tell watching on the radar it still happened; Kerfur's dot stalled until I activated snow mode and then resumed as expected.
I have been playing the game since its first versions. After taking a break for a while, I noticed that there was a new update for the game, which I installed. However, when I started the game and created a new save, pressing the "Start" button returns me to the main menu. It has been a long time since I last played, and I believe the issue might be related to the changes I made to my computer files.
Please assist me with this issue. I love the game and think it is excellent.
I know that normal kerfur is supposed to be buggy, but cmon. I made kerfur omega and when i tell him to get hash codes for me he just goes into the water and gets stuck. The worst part is - i cant turn him off and get him out of the water, sure, but then he forgets he got hashcodes and goes for them second time. And after getting them, his path is the same so he drowns again. Pls do something with it,
I've been watching a friend play, streaming it through discord, and its been crashing a lot? we are on version 0.8.2 btw.
Its constantly "Fatal Error!" and i dont know if its intended crashes (like from unseen events?) or if something is actually going wrong somewhere in the game.
I'm unsure what else to add here its just happening often enough to have us wondering whats goin on.

П.С. если это всё таки связано с керфурами, то у меня интересный анализ: есть две сюжетные ячейки и одна в бесконечном режиме (с ивентами). Первая ячейка (сюжетная) - это 0.8.0 законченный, жёлтого не находил. Вторая ячейка бесконечный режим - находил жёлтого и разобрался с ним, имеется покупные обычный и ЖЁЛТЫЙ (В ЭТОЙ ЯЧЕЙКЕ НЕ ПАДАЕТ FPS, почему же?). Третья ячейка (сюжетная) - начал с выходом 0.8.2 (потом перешёл на 0.8.2b ), жёлтого не находил.
In the new test build, the SSGI and detailed rain collisions seem to conflict sometimes, i noticed it when i had snow mode active and turning off the ssgi seemed to fix it but i started a new game and went to the base turned on snow mode then ssgi and detailed rain collisions and it worked fine. Maybe there are multiple snow weathers and only some are working correctly with detailed rain collision.
0.8.2b. After killing the Abandoned Kerfur, I'd get an error message saying the following:
Warning: the object murderKerfur_c_2147294423 has detected a negative event! Report to the bug forums the sequence of your actions! Event variable has been set to 0.
I'm not sure exactly what steps I'd talk about here. I spawned in Abandoned Kerfur using the 6 meat piles and attacking my Kerfur Omega, then I fought the Abandoned Kerfur without taking any damage.

You can buy 8 paper sheets, craft them into paper scrap, and sell the scrap for 2 points gained. Not really a major profit, but it is still making points from nothing.
You can get a free 30 points from the D-Drone delivery boxes by hacksawing them and selling the resulting scrap.
That is an outdated version of 0.8.2, not even just it not being the latest update.

When I found the half built treehouse, I attached a good quality camera to the tree in the middle, activated the camera, and then left. I got back to the base to check the camera, but it didn't appear on the computer as an option. My game had an event active, and the event stayed active for about an hour. I tried everything I could think to try, including going back to the treehouse and trying to raise my reputation, but the event didn't go away. The event is Class: "arirSlapper_C" Object: "arirSlapper_C_2147465765". I had to use the scrape command to get rid of it. Every time I resume the save, the event is immediately active again and will not go away unless I scrape it. I did find the camera on the ground in front of the base again, but the event is still active.
The entities who built the tree house aren't very fond of cameras, and that is what caused the event. The ariral slapper event is probably bugged it should cause an ariral to spawn near you and chase you, sometimes entering into your base, then they will beat you up. Maybe try exploring around the base and such to see if you can get the ariral unstuck if it is stuck somewhere. although im pretty sure they just spawn in so it being stuck is pretty unlikely.
I'm trying to craft Kurfer Omega, but despite having all the components on the crafting table, the only option I have is to craft drives. I've tried the head, torso, and the pelvis and none will give me the choice to make them, just drives. IDK if anybody else is having this problem, but I can't find it anywhere. I've tried re-loading the save as well, and that didn't help
You can turn off physics damage in experimental settings before you load in to stop the fall from killing you. Alternatively, if you have a number pad on your keyboard, numpad . is debug teleport and will transport you safely to the ground. If you don't have a number pad, like me, you can also set it in keybinds to another key.
Not entirely sure if a bug or not, but - in 0.8.2b my Kerfur-Omega guide notebook just up and diappeared. I was holding it in my hands, switching between the game and notepad windows as I was trying to do a revision of materials I needed, and then suddenly the notebook vanished. I didn't drop on the base floor, didn't go through the floor (I did check the basement some time after), didn't end up in my inventory and it didn't respawn in the Bunker. I was thinking of simply reloading from last autosave, but as the thought occured to me, the game conveniently saved itself, and at this point this notebook seems to be lost to me forever.
...any way I can now reposses it on the same save file?

The test versions are meant to have some bugs in them, but this one is probably the most annoying. No matter what you do, the hot bar won't disappear, and that fucking red arrow will still be there. Just report of bug, nothing else. Peace.
The game launches with black borders, nasty stripes on top bottom and sides. I looked and used all the settings, nothing helps, the game resolution does not change at all. What should I do? Also, when opening the settings during the game, the ‘hitboxes’ of the buttons are positioned as if the screen was stretched fully, but the picture itself, still with stripes, so it's impossible to press the buttons because they don't correspond to their real position. I can't figure out how to solve this problem, help me please
Backpack dissapears when i unequip it. No matter if its full or not it just dissapears. I tried to look everywhere, switch to winter mode, but to no avail. I had the same bug with the pink kerfur (not omega), when I turned it on, sat on the quad bike and the kerfur just disappeared and was not displayed on the map.
I also came across a hook bug. I attached one end to a full barrel and the other to a quad bike, but the hook disappeared like in another bug. I don't have it in my inventory and it wasn't lying around anywhere, it just disappeared.
Я попал в такое произошествие, пытался запустить игру продолжить в гараже voices of the void 8.2 собрать сахарный тростник и прочее хотел бы но игра не запускается чёрный экран ждал долго 10 минут, решил удалить папку и снова скачать с этого сайта и снова попробовать, итог провал, другие версии игры работают все с 8.0 и 7.0 а вот 8.2 не работает, не знаю в чём проблема??! Пришлось всё стереть сохранив сохранения игры с 28 днём игры и музыку, завтра проверю что случилось, пишите что это могло быть чтобы такого больше не случалось. я пытался налить кофе, но когда попытался подключить кофе машину, то не смог, вилка просто телепортировалась обратно, я попытался проверить на другой версии, но там все нормально, как всегда и было, так же я попытался зарядить керфура, то же самое что и с кофе, или мне покупать нового керфура и тратить 15 денег на энергетик? и еще я заметил что керфур ведет себя странно, как будто игрок под эффектом пива, и когда он пытался забраться на вышку починить сервер, то он просто падал через пирила, забирался снова и падал, и так пока у него не кончился заряд, а зарядить его я не могу по сказаной выше причине, с такими багами я понял что нет смысла фермы, хорошо не купил еще
In sandbox mode: Toggling the ragdoll function off with "Kick props/trip over" enabled in the settings causes the game to crash when you would normally trip over a prop. Similarly, having "Door bump enabled" turned on in settings with the ragdoll function disabled causes running into doors to crash the game. I'm on pa082b_0016
Edit: It seems every interaction (outside of pressing the ragdoll key) that would normally force a ragdoll crashes, this did not happen last night when I played so I'm unsure what's changed to make the game crash now.
Oversight: Arirals cant count. using a shrimp pack 8 times (so that it still has 1 in it, keeping it a "shrimp pack" prop) still allows you to get the ~1.4 rep, in addition to the ~0.0125 each individual shrimp from the pack gives
individual shrimps & other shrimp related food items should have their rep bonuses adjusted instead of it JUST being shrimp packs that have the bonus
Any time I try to grab drives it automatically makes me hold them instead of grabbing them, it didn't do this last update and it's driving me slightly insane as I can't seem to find any quick way to drop them out of my hand without opening the menu and it's really messing with my muscle memory and flow

I sent out Kerfur as usual, he never came back. I'm super bummed because I've only ever had this Kerfur, brought him with me from each save, and I love him.
I have four pings on my radar, but I've checked them all and no Kerfur, plus his camera doesn't show on the computer.
I really don't want to replace him.
I had a save in 0.8.2 on story mode that I kept playing in the 0.8.2b build, thinking that I didn't need to make a new save. Everything was normal until I got two errors, the first was after defeating the tank after it spawned. I got an error something like "tank detected a negative event, go to bug report". I tried looking it up to see if I could figure out what caused it, but couldn't so I moved on. The second error occurred after an event with arirals shooting something. It gave an error along the lines of "ariral shooter detected a negative event, go to bug report" I also tried looking that up, but didn't find anything. There was an ariral left over from the event stuck in the tree house so I think that's what caused the major error. The ariral was unarmed, but would attack me. I tried handing them the power washer (it had fallen out of the tree house) and some shrimp. They accepted the shrimp but threw the remains at me and threw the power washer at me. The major error was that a few days after (I can't remember how many, but somewhere between the ariral event and the major error I reached past 49 days) I got an event while dealing with the pigs that wouldn't go away (even though I killed the pig). I traversed every inch of the base except for the bunker (I didn't know any events could occur there), traveled around the entity dots on my radar, and did everything I could think of to try and end the event to no success. My last save was just before the event started too so I can't transfer my items over to a new save. (apologies if this spoils anything for anyone, I wasn't sure if I should be as descriptive as possible or try to kind of be vague so I tried to middle-road it)
Update: I started a fresh save in 0.8.2b on story mode and had the same issue with an event starting but nothing happening and not being able to sleep or save. I was at dish Whiskey as the sun was setting both times this issue occurred. I believe this may be caused by "William the protector" but its not like anything happens, and when it happened on my previous save the event never ended, even whenever I went to my base and stayed there for several days. Unsure if this is a glitch or not, and can't find a whole lot on any events surrounding it. Any help on how to end the event if this occurs again would be appreciated!
Thank you!! Turns out the bug was an "arirSlapper_C" event on my old file (0.8.2). Which is weird bc it had spawned a few days ago and only recently decided to start an event. Not sure what happened on my newer file bc it had saved from long before the "Endless event" happened so I molotov'd myself and avoided going to whiskey at sunset when I reloaded the save which circumvented the "endless event". I might try going back to whiskey at sunset to see if it was the same arir slapper event or if it's somehow caused by William.
reached the point in the game where the tank event happened again, and got the same error that occured on my original 0.8.2 save (I'm on 0.8.2b now) but wasn't quick enough to take a screenshot so I could say what exactly the error message was :c. It was along the lines of "tank detected a negative event, go to bug report". A few days later, the event where arirals battle against the cyber boars occurred and there was a ariral shooter left over even though all the boars were dead. The leftover ariral is causing an infinite event where I cannot sleep or save. I typed in "debug events" and the console printed the following: "Class: "ariral_shooter_C" || Object: "ariral_shooter_C_2147215357". I'll try scraping events to see if that gets rid of the ariral, but when I tried scraping events on my 0.8.2 save, it allowed me to save, but either would countinue the event shortly after saving or just re-start the event whenever I loaded the save. I can't recall exactly as it's been a bit since that happened.
I had one stuck shooter when I had the Ariral battle as well, though it seemed to linger because there were a couple straggling hogs that wandered off. I went leading those hogs back over to the tree house and it disappeared after killing one of them. Usually a save/load cycle gets rid of most event entities, not including ones meant to persist like the hogs.
I didn't see any stray hogs, nothing even shows up on the radar other than the leftover shooter. I will check again whenever I load the game back up today though. If the scrape didn't get rid of the ariral already. The endless event never cropped up again after using the scrape. I played for a few hours and didn't have a problem with saving or sleeping, but it might come back when I re-load
Performance of the game, is okay, but when you turn on the shadows, the fps drops significantly. I know i have old PC (gtx 1050ti intel I5 8400 and 8gb ram) but still, that's why i'm telling about that. Overall performance of the game is great on any settings, until you leave shadows settings on anything higher than 0. Also when some guys put an alien catapult in my garage it spawns in whatever you leave at the center of a garage, which is usually my ATV lol, but maybe that was changed in the beta idk cause they never interacted with me for a long time.
Got the missing Kerfur-0 random event (skerfuro event, as the wiki calls it), Kerfur-0 was missing as normal, but I could still save and quit and everything. Looked up the event, did what I was supposed to (i ran around the base like 10 times passing by every window). After that didn't work, I saved and quit, thinking my game was bugged. Came back, Kerfur-0 is still in the Meat Room on the camera. This has persisted for a bunch of in-game days and about 1 real life week. Just downloaded latest version today, he's still stuck. No clue what to do.
I had heard that as well but i had the large white wisp event that makes it extremely foggy once when i was trying to run around and do a bunch of stuff, not wanting to deal with it i scraped it just to see what would happen. It turned instantly sunny and the wisp was gone. Maybe it was just perfect timing though, lol
Well, that is 0.8.2b version and Kerfur's pathfinding AI is broken at one place of map. I can say that other people have also same issue here.

The doors on the trailers near the hole seem to be somewhat broken in a way that breaks the flickering lantern prank. When the Ariral smashing in the door breaks it, said door just doesn't move, stopping the event from playing out as intended. The only way to get it out of the way is to hold it, and by the time I've done so they've all left. In order to interact with the Ariral coming to smack me around I had to break down the door and move it out of the way in advance. The notebook with the passage in it also no longer opens when you try to use it before the door-smashing begins. I'm not sure if this is intended, but having it happen while you're reading is much more nerve-wracking.
Not sure if this is intended but pretty sure this is a bug.
The Red Bush does not work in Infinite mode, I've tried making a new save and getting to the Cabin before the time doesn't activate. I've had longer saves that it didn't work on, sometimes doesn't work in Story Mode either. Again I make sure to get to Cabin before 3am and it doesn't activate when the time comes around.
I have tested back on 0.8.1 and 0.8.2 and it's affected both Infinite and Story mode. I was playing a Story save made on a not stable 0.8.2b patch back on test version 7 that didn't work. Making a new Story Save did seem fix my problem for the Red bush, but did not fix the problem for a new Infinite save. The grass is also still bugged in the Red Bush dimension being extended pixels in form of triangles of each grass PNG.
I'll try update the post as I get further in a new save on current stable patch/update of 0.8.2b and see if Story save gains the problem with Red Bush over time, and report any new information.
Yeah I get there around 3 am, 3:33 comes and goes and by time it's 4 it still never opened. Sometimes I encounter this in Story mode around day 30 and beyond to final available story day, sometimes it just works again in Story mode. But it never seems work in Infinite mode and that save is one day 60+ .
Yeah a Streamer I was watching had this issue when we tried guide them to the Slabs/Tablets, and another chat member also reported no Red Bush activation. Again I'm not sure if this is intended but doesn't make any sense to have it not activate for Infinite Mode when every other event should be able activate. So on one hand glad it's defiantly common occurrence and not just use, on the other hand hoping it's not intentional and it's just a bug.

А головы керфура нету... :< Пытался несколько рах перекрафтить эллектронное вторсырьё, даже это не помогло, при добавлении металлического вторсырья, оно перекрафчивает мне всё это обратно в диски...
В том то и проблема, что у меня в мире ее нет... Я сбрасывал и данные и, чего только не перебробывал... А создал заново.. Желания 0, впереди то, что мне осталось лишь создать радиоактивную капсулу... Возможно, проблема из - за того, что перешёл на более новую версию в своем мире и.. Всё просто забагалось, хз..

После создания мира в кафетерии диван подбрасывает и опрокидывает весь кофе. При создании мира на кухне объект застревает в текстуре на верхней полке, создавая шум. Звуки позади него стали приглушенными. вы можете исправить звук квадроцикла. Надеюсь, это помогло. Резко нарастающий громкий и монотонный рев очень раздражает, несмотря на то, что игра проходит достаточно спокойно.
The picture is a bug with the anti-aliasing. I had similar issues try adjusting the anti-aliasing options, there are two different options for it now. i specifically had this problem when i ran the game with reshade installed. And reshade seems to have problems with in game anti aliasing in a bunch of different games.
It is possible to drag in delivery drone using Gravity Gun. If you manage to do so and capture the drone in gravity field before it finishes your delivery, it'll be stuck floating above delivery point after being released. The bug resolves itself after saving and re-entering, as the drone finishes delivery and flies away normally.
Discovered a interesting bug where where you can "cheat" the atv stunts achievement. If a power outage happens that causes the ATV to be inoperable while you were accelerating, it is possible to make progress in the achievement by grabbing the ATV and raising it off the ground and putting it back down over and over
nah i tried downloading from the app it didn't work so i uninstalled it then downloaded it via website i'd say try and get in contact with the dev and see what they say you're probably gonna have to give the error info it should be in your clipboard when it happens so all you have to do is paste it in notepad or a comment
Hello! I am running pa 0.8.2b, I believe I have encountered a bug. I cannot fix the tower, when I climb the tower to fix it I get a report that it is "all fine" and three of the four lights are blinking. Also, the tower check on the console reports that the tower is functioning, but I still get the error that the drone cannot triangulate my position. I have looked through the forum here, checked reddit, and tried restarting my game and fixing any servers in case that was the problem. Sleeping until morning did not fix my problem, either.
cooler crafting is not working. I read the note, put all the components in-there is no crafting, only a disk + and a canister of fuel.. what to do? the mining farm is overheating and I've shoved too much money into it-it's annoying to turn it on and off all the time+ regardless of the number of video cards, the farm only runs at 10%

Just got the Gray invasion event and noticed I kept getting "they will remember that 0.124" spammed. They had already eaten all the shrimp I gave them but I noticed they had knocked one of their containers outside of their camp during all the fighting. I brought it back and got the same amount. I think it was just flinging props around during the fighting and I kept getting rep for it. I used Debug Scrape earlier in the save because I thought something went wrong with an event (a boar randomly spawned near the windmills and stayed there) but other than that I played the game normally.
after the "war of the worlds" on the final day an Ararial pig beater c spawned clipped inside of one of the Ararial ships. While it is present a meta paranoia event occurs that does no end until it despawns, however it will not despawn on it's own for some reason. In addition to this about 5 minuets after whenever I boot the game it will respawn even if I had previously culled it. I have checked and there are no "pigs" left on the map so I do not know why it continues to spawn and refuses to despawn without scraping it.
I don't know how but when I used the trash can it popped up the UI to put stuff within it but not the cursor - it also kept allowing me to move my guys camera around which was annoying as nothing I did made it better, even pressing escape kept the paused menu UI but the cursor did not pop up still and I had to alt F4 to do get out, idk if I ever want to touch another trash can again.

Toggling any of the breakers, either through the breaker switches or the components tab, interrupts signals that are being played, immediately stopping them.
Considering that toggling breakers to save on power has become a real part of the gameplay, this bug makes it much harder to multitask with your breakers while simultaneously listening to a signal, which is something I like to do often.
Hi! I found a duplication bug in Voices of the Void.
1. I place 4 CD cases close to each other.
2. I take one CD lid.
3. I drop the lid between the cases (on the ground).
4. The lid attaches to all of them at once and duplicates.
5. Then I can sell the extra lids and make a lot of money.
It happens every time. I found it by accident while moving stuff.
