Update your drivers

are you remembering to save before you quit?

most lighting performance issues are caused by shadows, turn them down or to 0 to give you some frames back

which update are you on?

1a. It is intentional that servers do not fail and satellite calibrations do not decrease in Ambience mode.

1b. Power lines do swing in the wind in real life, although the effect has been increased in-game, presumably to draw more attention to the lines. Not everything has to be entirely physically accurate.

1c. The saw object currently has no actual use. To be able to destroy objects such as pallets, purchase a hacksaw from the store.

1d. The only type of can that doesn’t work to make metal scrap is the can from canned food and canned peaches. It should be easy to tell these cans apart, as inspecting them shows that they can be, or have been, eaten. Otherwise, cans named “empty can” or cans from the vending machine both count toward crafting metal scrap.

1e. The crafting book is not supposed to change as you learn new recipes, your learned recipes are listed in the inventory.

1f. You can easily reach the ceiling vent with the hook by jumping and throwing the end so that it attaches to the ceiling, scrolling the mouse wheel to pull yourself up, and then “grabbing” the vent cover. The speed at which you pull yourself up is the same as the speed you scroll, so scroll slowly to avoid slamming your head into the ceiling.

1g. Garbage that is stuck as a ball can still be moved by pushing it with another object, or by using the broom. If you successfully dislodge it, it should snap back to being a pile again. Garbage cannot get stuck to the ceiling, what you are seeing is just garbage on the floor above that clips through the floor and is visible on the ceiling.

2. If you have specific localization issues, it is recommended you report them on MrDrNose’s Discord.

its still there, just made much quieter because many people disliked that it was so loud in 0.8.2b.

get better at driving. Its practically impossible to flip if you stick to the main roads and don’t use the turbo boost.

no, this is confirmed to be a bug. Brownie trail is supposed to happen at any reputation level, although the message they leave you changes. However, both the brownie trail and gun event are broken in 0.8.2b.

its a bug specific to test update 0.8.2c. There is a test for a radio tower that is affected by wind, although it is hidden underneath the map. On occasion, the physics will break, causing various parts of the tower to clip up through the floor and appear around the map.

Make sure you’re actually applying your settings by pressing the apply button.

While you are currently playing a signal from the signal playing computer, turning any breaker off, whether using the breaker or the components tab in the computer, stops the playing.

This is a known bug which is fixed in the latest patch, although its currently in the testing phase. Reset Slot allows you to reset multiple different aspects of the game, such as resetting events or item locations. Resetting the player will heal you back to full, but it will also completely clear your inventory.

I think upscaling is used for Anti-Aliasing.

you are not supposed to press the “make tag” button. This turns the paper into a label used for naming/labelling objects, and makes it invalid for sending in hash codes.

0.8.2b

During the Bad Sun event, about a quarter of the way into the event, the sun stops damaging you.

0.8.2b

Toggling any of the breakers, either through the breaker switches or the components tab, interrupts signals that are being played, immediately stopping them.

Considering that toggling breakers to save on power has become a real part of the gameplay, this bug makes it much harder to multitask with your breakers while simultaneously listening to a signal, which is something I like to do often.
