The controls and behavior of the ATV makes me want to quit this game

After 8 hours of playing it, I want to quit it because ATV is the worst and most unpleasant thing about this game. It's constantly spinning, flips over on any bump, flips over fifteen times if you're flying only a couple of meters. It's naturally impossible, unpleasant and just plain gross to control. Setting with the removal of wheel collision does not help in any way - this infernal machine as was nasty, and remains nasty.

Are there any mods or console commands or anything else that will somehow make it easier to drive this trash? I like the game, but the bastardized ATV control spoils everything and makes me just press Alt+F4.

get better at driving. Its practically impossible to flip if you stick to the main roads and don’t use the turbo boost.

At first I thought it was jank, but I've come to appreciate its precarious handling. If it were any more responsive, the game would feel too easy, imo. (Aren't ATVs pretty dangerous when it comes to rolling/flipping IRL?) Unless you're on a straight road in broad daylight, you probably shouldn't be gunning it to full throttle. The "S" key is your best friend. When you hit any downhill slope greater than 5°, you should be mashing that sucker like there's no tomorrow to ease your way down it. Hitting the parking brake is also good for breaking a fall, but I don't know how foolproof it is.
