You might have one of the alternate interact options enabled. You can also just pick up the repair kit and touch the atv with it to repair the atv. unless they changed that.
They did change it, the toolbox can no longer be simply touched to the ATV to repair it.
Ah, i haven't used the atv much in the past few updates. i have my day speed a little longer and walk basically everywhere. lol
