This is so much content in a week! Well done!

Developer

Thank you !

This is some seriously impressive content, to the point that you could just as easily sell this on Steam and I’d probably buy it

How did the 3 of you manage to make this in one week?

Developer

Thanks ! We are used to doing game jams and we are comfortable with our tools and our workflow, also we were able to use the majority of the available time, overall we did not have any big unforeseen problem that could have made us waste time, it's all of this that allowed us to produce lots of content ^^

Wow, what a great game!  Some games I play and think one day I'll be able to make something like that, and others - like this one - I think "there is no way I'll be able to ever do that!"  The artwork / sprites were super well done, with all the different armors and characters all looking uniquely different.  The music and sound effects were fantastic also.  The multiplayer ability (I was solo) and character selection screens just blew me away.  Fascinating work!

Developer

Thank you ! Glad you liked the game, good luck in your projects !

This was a really awesome experience. I love the art audio and game feel. Really really well done

Developer

Thanks, glad you enjoyed !

very cool game

this is really polished, in fact with just adding a few more content i can see this being sold on steam. for a week in development this is astounding. my only problem with it would be to increase the hit invisibility frame as sometime when i just respawn i was immediately killed by enemy attack.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback, we are happy with the result and we plan to release a post jam version, maybe one day it will be on Steam ^^

We'll improve the invisibility issue for the post jam version!

It's incredible. You were able to produce so much sprite artwork, a competent AI and solid platforming in a week. That's awesome. Great presentation and really fun gameplay. Good work!

Developer

Thanks, glad you enjoyed !

I'm not entirely sure how this got made in a week, but I guess it did, and for that I'm amazed.

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks ! For the project we took advantage of a lot of tools from Godot Engine, the physics engine, the animation tool for the cutscene, the autotilling to create the maps quickly etc, besides that we did a lot of game jams and games in general and our workflow is quite defined, and we were able to take advantage of almost 100% of the time available, we have not slept much over the last few days, also things went well, which is not always the case ^^

Very nice art! I found that the control style was difficult to understand, and it kept changing between the menu and the gameplay. I worked out space+arrow keys, but then I got stuck in the menu.

I really liked swapping between the palettes and I especially liked the sheer amount of artwork and detail that has gone into the sprites. I was surprised to see that thrown items rotate!

It must've taken forever to do that level design too.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback, we'll try to fix this problems on the controls for the post jam! About the level design autotiling on the walls helped a lot ^^

Nice game!

I can’t believe this was made in 1 week, amazing.

Nothing to complain, reminds me a bit of the game TowerFall Ascension :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you ! glad that reminded you of Towerfall which is great in the genre!

This game is so great!! The AI feels really competitive, but not unfair! I just lost by a hair which hurts but it didn't feel unwarranted.

And I love your art! So expressive.

I started with the Dodge Ball stage, which seems a bit incomplete? Maybe put it in a minigame section?

Developer

Thanks ! Haha yes it's sometimes difficult to win, about the Dodge Ball stage we didn't have time to finish it but we'll add it for the post jam version, probably in a minigame section yes ^^

Amazing game! It's incredible how polished and well designed this game is given it's made in a week. Every aspect of it is superb and can definitely stand on its own competing with AAA GameBoy games

Developer

Thank you !

really great job guys i really like how the levels designed it make me feel the nostalgia of the game boy love it.

Developer(+1)

Thanks, glad you had some nostalgia while playing it !

A really incredible game, very fun to play, specially the part in where i stealth the first place at last second :D th artstyle is fantastic and i love the palettes.

Developer

Haha thank you, glad you like it !

BROUGHT BACK CHILDHOOD MEMORIES! EVERYTHING IS PERFECT!

Developer

Thanks man ^^

Wow! This is a great platformer racer. I can't believe it was made in a week! Amazing. Also the AI opponents are very, very impressive!

Developer

Thank you ! About the AIs I was not even sure that we'll manage to make them work at the beginning and if fact they get stuck sometimes, the trick is lots of invisible points positioned on the map to guide them ^^

Haha thank you ^^

The level of art, animations and polish is out of this world!

It’s crazy to see a game like this in just a week. But in that regard, it was rather tough to understand what’s going every now and then. I was playing solo, btw.

Marvelous entry, congrats!

Developer(+1)

Thank you ! Yes clearly we had no enough time to test the game and to add elements that guide more the player, there is several things we'll try to improve for the post jam version., thanks for your feedback !

Submitted

so many cool characters! The game looks awesome, even being challenging. Took me some time to realize there were portals that makes me teleport, tough! 😅

everything is so charming and polished, I hope there’s more after the jam!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, glad you liked it ! Yes the portals are not explained in the tutorial and they lack a bit of feedback in-game, about post jam version yes it's planned ^^

Submitted

what an awesome genre mix. the art, music, and mechanics are all on point too. such a great entry! this is the kind of game i would love to play with my friends online, i hope you consider adding it post-jam if youre planning on working on this further!

Developer

Thanks, glad you liked the concept, we are planning a post jam and about the online I'll try, I don't have a lot of experience in it so I don't know if I'll succeed, in the worst case you can still use tool like Parsec ^^
