How does your game fit the theme?
The theme being out of control we decided to give the player a jalopy space ship that starts going out of control randomly, expected after so many years and adventures. The player needs to choose if he wants to be exposed to repair his ship or start relegating control of it.

Nice job.  I didn't realize that the arrows to repair the ship meant the actual arrow keys instead of WASD at first so I was very confused.  I'm glad I figured it out because the repairing adds a cool wrinkle to the classic shmup gameplay.  It's pretty fun and not too hard.

Thanks for playing and the feeback! :D

Ooh this was very interesting. A small gripe would be that the screen doesn't fit in my monitor. But it has nothing to do with the monitor and can be fixed with good ol' ctrl+mouse wheel up. Just something to keep in mind for accessibility > w O

But anyways. Good job!

Thank you!! Yup, we couldnt figure out in time how to adjust the screen. We are glad you liked it!

Cool idea and execution! Maybe a little more "juice" and it would be a pretty solid game! Overall, great job!

Developer

Thank you!!

I liked the fixing mechanic. And you did the visual/sound feedback for the player quite right, good job.

Thanks! Good to hear you liked it :)

Awesome little game, loved the repairing mechanic implemented in the game. Keep doing cool stuff!

Developer

Thanks!! We are glad you liked it :D

I never thought a game made so quickly could make me feel like I was in a movie mending my vehicle on the fly so effectively :D Great idea that compliments the gameplay in a really neat way!

Developer

Thank you!! It's so nice to hear that you enjoyed the game so much!

What a fun little dynamic between shooting and repairing my ship, you really managed to get that feeling right. The gameplay itself is fun as well and I wish every space shooter had gameplay like this now, I had a lot of fun!

Developer

Thanks for playing! We are so happy that you enjoyed the game so much :)

Movement and controls felt very smooth.   Enemies felt a bit claustrophobic, I think a wider play area would work well with this game.   Really love the repair mechanic and the way things malfunction.  Great job!

Developer

Thanks! We agree on that, aspect ratio was a little bit off and enemies were too big tbh. Thank you for playing and for the feedback!

I've seen a lot of games with a player that breaks and goes haywire, but this one did it best by far. A lot of games I've seen have been more hard-to-control than out-of-control, so good job not falling into that trap.

And the way it goes out of control is pretty unique, just moving on its own and shooting more spread out bullets, as well as shaking like that.

Yeah, very well done.

Developer

Thank you!! We were tryiong to make a game were being out of control didnt mean being frustrated. I think we kinda nailed it, making it repairable and kinda goofy in the looks lmao. Thanks for playing!

Great game that makes good use of the theme! It was lots of fun multitasking by moving and shooting with the ship while periodically needing to bring it in for repairs and finish the quicktime event. Short and sweet!

One suggestion though is some sort of feedback for when the players bullets have hit the enemy. As of now they just vanish on their own on impact.

Developer

Thank you! We needed to masterize and add more sounds to it, that's true. Thanks for the feedback :)

Thank you for submitting your game to the stream! =)
At first I didn't like it, but before long I realized that the gameplay was quite challenging and well done. Congratulations for the good work!

Developer

Thanks for playing it! We could have done a better job at balancing haha. We are glad you liked it :)

its ok but its not really playable on my small netbook screen.

Developer(+1)

Yup, this was our first game with a weird aspect ratio (mobile-like) so we should have looked more into it hahahaha. Thanks for your feedback!

really fun !

Developer

Thank you!

The game was very cute, i liked how the aspect ratio was a bit retro. Only thing i'd fix is keep the controls on screen (in case player is at border of screen)

Developer(+1)

Hey! We watched your stream as you played. Thanks for spotting that bug hehe. Thanks for playing!

Couldn't get the whole game on screen cos of the aspect ratio but I liked the little sequences to fix the spaceship!

Developer

That sucks :( We are sorry. Try playing in fullscreen. We will look into that too. Thank you for your feedback!

Submitted(+1)

No worries! I tried fullscreen but it was still getting cut off, other than that it was fun! Cool to have to balance fixing your ship and taking enemies down

Really fun game!! Loved it all the way. Very cool concept!!

We are glad you liked it! Thank you!!

This has to potential to be a very addicting game if everything is balanced and polished. I love the concept!

Developer

Thanks! We are glad you had fun playing it :) Thanks for the feedback too!

Very cool game! The idea is great and the controls feel responsive. A little bit overwhelming at first but when you start picking it up is really fun :)

Developer

Thank you!! We should have spent a little more time figuring out how to balance the waves of enemies haha. Thanks for the feedback! We are glad you enjoyed the game :)
