Great idea, even better execution! The level design is really on point and the character feels nice to control. Amazing game!

Developer

Thanks so much!  I'm glad you liked the levels and character controller.

I had a massive smile on my face as soon as I saw the "clock" interface. What a fantastic way to clearly communicate to the player what was happening and when things were going to happen. I really enjoyed the game and I'd love to see more puzzles!

Developer

Thanks so much!  I'm really glad the clock made sense to people.

I love the visuals and the concept is super nice too. 5s all around for this one!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot!  I was pleased with how the visuals turned out.

I don't think the pixel art meshes well with the look of the GUI but aside from that this was a good submission.

Developer(+1)

Thanks!  Yeah, I think they clash a bit more than I wanted, but I didn't have time to fix it.

Good job! Very unique premise and some of your levels were super neat. Well designed game!

Developer

Thanks so much!  I'm glad you liked it.

Really good stuff! Saw it on stream and played it a bit myself. The music was a bit loud but that's an easy fix

Developer

Thanks!

Really tight gameplay, the graphics and mechanics and level design all work together. I especially liked the dual purpose of the iron ball verb. Great work!

Developer

Thanks so much!  I'm glad you liked it.

Really enjoyed this game! Nice work, and love how you are able to escalate everything throughout the levels. Have to admit I got a bit stuck on one of the levels, which is going to bother me. Though I'm sure I'll realize what I was missing when I'm trying to fall asleep tonight...

Developer

Thanks!  You'll figure it out.  I believe.

This game is amazing! The gameplay feels really nice, aesthetic and sound effects are great. Really fun!

The only thing that can improve is the jump, sometimes if you want to jump just after landing, you need to time it right. (in platform games it's usually a good  practice to check if the player presses the jump button just before landing to make the controls feel more responsive). Other than that, I think the game is perfect!

Developer

Thanks so much!  Yeah, I wanted to add a jump input buffer, but that was one of the things that I didn't have time to do.

I loved the design and concept. Game was really fun and original. Also the music was a nice match.

Developer

Thanks!  I'm glad the music fit well.

Great idea executed well. I managed to beat all of the levels. Though, I did notice that there were a couple of 'empty' levels, in which you just need to walk to the end. Maybe you forgot to finish those? They were in the middle of the game, not at the start where you would expect something like that.

Developer

Thanks!  Some of the less involved levels were meant to give the player a chance to breathe before something new is introduced.  That was the goal, at least.

I just rated your great game! Thank you very much for watching the stream yesterday!
I would appreciate it if you could check out my game too!

Developer(+1)

Thanks!  Will do.

Oh boy u are a frickkin machine to make 30 levels. This game is awesome mate.

Loved it all the way.

Awesome mechanic, smooth platforming and good audio.

Developer

Thanks so much!  I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Submitted(+1)

Yeah, 30 levels are a lot. You could say he's out of control...

Submitted(+1)

Haha! that's true

Neat idea for the jam, fits the theme. Has simple yet very effective presentation, great music as well. Gameplay feels solid and provides a good enough challenge. Good job!

Developer

Thanks so much!

This is so well-done. The level progression makes everything very intuitive, and the onscreen timer is really helpful in planning your next move. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks!  I'm so glad to hear the level progression and UI worked out.

Of course! We'd love your feedback on our game as well, if you haven't already. SpaceBus

Developer(+1)

Ooh, I haven't yet.  Let me check it out!

Thank you!

This game is really cool. Haven't had the time to finish playing it off-screen yet, but still planning to!
The platforming challenges are fun, the timing is close at times but not unfair, only issue I had was that it wasn't always predictable how many boxes would break below me.

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much!  Yeah, breaking the right number of blocks below you ended up being a bit harder (even for me) than I wanted it.

Submitted

Loved it! Very smart utilization of the concept of limited control. I think the puzzles can be a bit more challenging with those mechanics (it felt more like a platformer than a puzzle but it has puzzle elements you can really emphasize IMO)

Developer

Thanks for playing!  I agree that it could certainly be a bit more puzzle-y.

Submitted

Excellent. Just excellent.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Really cool game and well explored mechanics! Some levels are really tricky :D

I like the retro 2bit style, makes the levels very easy to read.

Developer

Thanks!  I tried to make the game easy to read, so I'm really glad that came through.
