I don't know what to say. It' just good, really good. Hilarious, controls great, wonderful art. Idk how you did this in unreal but, I'm impressed.

How does your game apply the limitation (and optionally, the theme)?
You chase/fight a Boss pretty much the whole game. Your character in "on edge" and needs the comfort of his bunny friend, to keep his carrot level high enough. If you fall at one carrot aka 1 HP, you are "on edge" and have a stronger attack, but get killed by anything.

Hey thank you ! There's actually a fall throught, you need to press S and jump, but I probably could've made a better tutorial for it. It's quickly mentioned in the same tutorial box than the crouch and it's a bit "wall of texty", I should probably improve that.

Fun game with a lot of content and polish. The twin stick controls felt great to use. The final boss phase with the powered up gun was a fun way to end.
You really nailed the platforming movement on this, and it was a really well scripted boss battle! Totally did a great job on everything. I absolutely loved how powerful you get at the end when you're reunited with your fluffy friend! Cheers :)
This is game got one of the highest ratings I've given in the jam so far because it was so well polished and fun to play. I love the art style and the little touches like being able to see the dynamite in the jellyfish enemies was such a nice touch! The fact that the character has different sprites while shooting forward whether moving forward or backward is a lot of extra work, but that backward running and firing forward animation is so nice. I chuckled each time I saw it! And I know this is a little thing ... but those grass tiles are really well done.
I would recommend adjusting the players bullets. For him looking so macho and us players wanting to live that power fantasy, actually firing bullets felt kind of dinky. They're small and slow and the sfx with them aren't very juicy. I'd make them faster with a more powerful look and you could accommodate the game balance by just reducing their overall damage. I loved that when I first encountered a spring you didn't force me to pause for the text box. Really appreciated, but in the rest of the game I wish I could speed up the dialogue interactions. As much as I love all the art, I think you could have gotten away without a black outline for the player and instead used a really dark shade of that part of the player, so dark blue outline on the jeans, read on the shirt ... you get it. He almost seemed out of place, well not him, but the outline around him. I don't think it's necessary to track him well.
Clever twist of being on the edge putting you in rage mode. It was satisfying to fire that flurry, so I'd find myself taking damage just to get there. Overall, this is really well done and a super impressive effort from a solo dev. Great work!
This game is so beautiful. Everything is pretty much perfect except the crashing issue (and the hard difficulty could be a bit harder). My favorite part is definitely the adorable bunny animations.

I've been really excited to play this game I think the gameplay is solid, the artwork matches and fits a nice theme and the boss has nice mechanics, I enjoyed this a lot and really hope I can see more from you later on! also the bunny is cute but i immediately tried killing it-

Realy nice game! The theme and limitation are implemented well, the art is pretty nice, and it is realy fun to play.
Really solid job on this one! Really impressive with the amount of mechanics you were able to fit into the game in only 10 days. Boss cycles were all fun and unique from each other. The falling stage was a super nice touch. And you also were able to work a compelling story into the game. For what's its worth I did not encounter the level loading bug as well. Really well done!
Had so much fun playing this game and I didn't want to put it down. You did a great job on this. Love the use of On the Edge.
