What a game! I loved the melding of turn-based battles with matching puzzles. And there was even a deck-building aspect too. Not to mention the fantastic art and total jam of a soundtrack. My only complaint would be that it took a few rounds until strategy became important. I wonder how the game would play if the board didn't clear between turns.

Did you work in a team?
There were 3 members to our team. This was a challenging and fun experience!
Was the resolution a challenge?
The resolution forced us to think about screen real estate and use creative ways to convey information.
What did you learn?
We learned that less is more when it comes to designing UIs and not to over crowd the screen.

This is definitely one of my favorites in the jam. It looks fantastic, the music is great, and it's super fun. Just the right amount of challenging, too! (There is a bug where, if you die and start again from that menu, your tile improvements carry over to the new game... and the first time I beat the game was unashamedly using that "new game plus" to get through the final boss!)
Even with so many games I haven't played yet, I keep coming back to this one. Nicely done.
Great game.
I was worried it would get stale after a few rounds but the combat was very interesting and varied, especially with the Reflect move that some enemies can do.
Like everyone else is saying, the art and animations really are a strongpoint here. This is probably the best overall game I've played in this jam so far!
P.S. I beat the game on my first try ;)
Excellent sprite art, great music and sound, unique mechanics. What a great game!
I wish there was a way to undo store purchases immediately after buying. I thought the tile for tile was the other way around, and then lost horribly.
This is an awesome take on a match 3 game. Great art & nice use of the space. Congrats! :)
I really loved everything about this from the game play to character design. But honestly, my favorite bit was the tan and brown directions pages (those that you have on the screenshot to the left), they were really beautifully done and clearly explained the mechanics of the game.
Yeah, really fun game. Took a bit of my time as I am the type of people that try to cheese the game by f.ex. filling the board with swords.... (Works the best)
Anyway, great job I liked the art and the fact I could play it on my phone well done !
Great job on this. There kept being more and more different enemies for me to fight—I was impressed. The mechanics were clearly explained and it was a fun twist on a match 3 game.
Really unique combat system paired with beautiful art and a bopping soundtrack. Well done!
