There are too many systems on your ship that are spiraling out of control, not enough Ziggys to handle the chaos

Really good game.

Die several time before understand how to play the game (at first I don't even know how to get rid of the death ziggy, I was looking for the trash bin because of the icon in the machine instruction)

In the end I just use almost all of the ziggy on the oxygen machine and still survive without fixing any hole  (I just read how use the  tool after I finish the game).

(a little bit unrelated but it would be fun to grab and throw those ziggy into the machine in VR)

The game is really well done, i had some fun with it, and does not seem like a 48h game at all...unfortunally for my pc the game, the game is higly graphically intensive, so my experience wasn't one of the best: For real, the only most helpfull thing i can say is that the game isn't so intuitve, but i know for a fact that you already know that, so i'm sorry if this comment isn't a helpfull one. Please add some graphics settings next time... 😕

Developer

You’re completely right! we really wanted to get some sort of graphics control in but unfortunetly ran out of time - sorry it ran so slow on your machine :( but I’m glad you enjoyed the game! thanks for playing! :D

Developer

Sorry you had issues with the graphics! We definitely will look into graphics settings, hooking up all of the menus for it would have taken too much time for the jam, but we'll keep it in mind for the next jam we do as well :) We have a "streamer friendly" build of the game linked in the description, it has an FPS cap so maybe it will be better to play on. The game should run on a GTX 1060 or higher, I am not sure what the lowest powered GPU we support would be though.

Well, my graphics card is quite old and i don't think it's supported (i have an Nvidia GT720), so it's normal that graphics intensive games for me are a no go, so don't worry about me...

Wow, making this game only in 48 hours is a real feast! The game started off a bit too fast for me, I was only able to explore like half the ship before the lights went out at first, and I was unsure if it's a game over or not. After playing around a bit more I slowly started to learn how things work. Very good concept and execution, well done!

A darkly funny game, I loved the concept of tying plate spinning gameplay to extracting the life force from adorable slimes. Plus space! I was tremendously entertained the whole time.

Insane amount of content and your team must of work like a well oiled machine to pull that off in 48 hour. I will say this right out of the gate, because that is really commendable. From a developer standpoint, I am really impress.

It's a nice first person version of Overcooked, that unfortunately suffer from all the mechanic you have put into it. It's kind of weird to say, but there is just to much mechanic to learn to be enjoying it rapidly. I feel that the learning curve is just to steep. If it was more delay in time, I think I would enjoy it more. Even after watching the video, it was like trying to master a complicated dance routine at level 1.

That being said, I can see the appeal to try the master the game in front of an audience as a streamer. Just with what you have, you have content for a relatively long game.

Overall though, you really outdone yourself on the presentation, I am impress. The voice acting is great, the writing is good, sfx and music are well implemented, no game breaking bug when I played it, ran like a charm over 60 FPS.

Overall great job, you should really be proud of yourself :)

This looks and sounds awesome, very impressive for 48 hours!

A really cool game with amazing graphics. Unfortunately it is not super well balanced I feel. I spent litterally every Ziggy generating oxygen, then repair the holes and repeat. So when the lights went out I was lost.

A cool idea though, maybe a bit too much to do right off the bat.

Thanks for the feedback and playing! And yes, we agree, the game needs to be more forgiving for new players :)

Nice grapchics, witty writing, nail biting challange and a merchandisable mascot. I must say, I'm impressed.

Really impressive game completed in 48 hours! It's challenging and exciting at the same time. Can the Ziggy's be re-used?

Developer

Thanks for checking us out!

Unfortunately powering up the ships systems kills the Ziggy's, you can only spawn new ones not re-charge the old ones. It should definitely be more obvious inside the game that this is the case! (If we do post-jam updates that's the sort of thing we're planning on improving)

Love it! Surprised this doesn't have more plays because it deserves it. I could see this sort of game being really run to do as a couple! Thanks for the play :D

WOW! This was a really good, immersive experience. I love the multi-purpose use of the Ziggies, but draining them to turn the lights back on made me feel like a monster. This was a great game, and I'm genuinely blown away by how much fun it was once I figured out what I was doing! A little bit of time to orient myself and read wall signs before the floor and wall started breaking would be good, but I was able to figure it out. This was really well done!

Also, thank you so much for featuring our game on your stream :) I edited a quick victory photo together in our game's devlog for ya if you find the time.

Developer

Thanks! It's definitely intentional to make you feel bad with how cute those Ziggies are! First time player experience is definitely something we want to work on if we do a post jam update.
Thanks for submitting the game! Was very fun and definitely enjoyed my "Victory". I laughed at the victory screen shot!

Awesome graphics and idea. Took me a few (*cough* too many) tries to know what was going on and win, but it was fun, so it's ok. Ran into an issue where I tried to crouch and jump, then I got stuck and couldn't get to the Ziggies. Great game!

Developer

Thanks!

Yeah, first time player experience is definitely something that we want to work on if we do a post jam update. Thanks for the report on the bug.

You could check out my VOD for comments on your game, but great job with it!

Really immersive experience and the ziggy's are so cute. It's too bad I had to consume them to keep the ship functional. I liked how there were a variety of obstacles and you had to also eject the ziggy's after using them.

It was mentioned on your itch page but I agree that there are some issues with learning what to do since it's not so clear in the game and it's there's too much time pressure to figure out what to do. One small thought is maybe if the ziggy's were right next to the oxygen machine it would help guide the player to understand the mechanics more quickly, especially since that's the first thing players need to do.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the constructive feedback kcaze! we will take it into consideration if we make improvements post-jam and I agree with your analysis of the game. We really appreciate you taking the time to play and hope you enjoyed it! :D

Yo’,
Very fun game to play, stunning graphics.

Very impressive game! Really difficult, never could quite beat it. It was really easy to activate the jettison instead of opening the hatch.

Submitted(+1)

Great visuals, cute idea. Impressed this was created in 48 hours.

Submitted(+2)

High quality, I can't believe it was produced in 48 hours.

Submitted(+1)

Wow that's insane 3D visuals, scenery and style for a 48H game. I'm so impressed!

Submitted(+1)

Wow! what an underrated gem! It's a really visually pleasing game with some amazing polish and some amaaaazing gameplay! I wish the gameplay was a bit more explained in-game but thats fine for a jam! overall an amazing game and definitely one of my favorite games in the jam. Awesome work!

Submitted(+1)

Amazing presentation quality! Perhaps when you have time to refine things, you could introduce the failing systems one at a time so the player gets used to the systems? I can also imagine this working great in VR. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for checking us out! we very much want to try and see how the games plays in VR :) cheers for the feedback!
