How does your game fit the theme?
A platformer where your jump is replaced with a faulty jetpack that soars you in the air after a countdown. This powerful jump is both your greatest asset and your greatest weakness - you must jump to progress, but watch your head for spikes!

Great concept! The game needs some polishing and it will become an amazing game!
Nice Job!
I enjoyed the concept, it has some issues that I have already discussed with you but overall it was enjoyable. With some fixes it will be awesome. Definitely add volume though
Got stuck going right on the stained glass level, but I do love this. <3
Really fun game, love the art style and the different camera angles - the idea of timing your jumps with the jet pack is very clever, and very well-implemented!
I really like the camera placement, it is kind of new to me :)
oh wow! Both audio and art? Congratulations! I loved the small personal details like the play button bag, the quirky character and the very interesting camera navigation in the world!
very liked the art and movement , Keep going ! -Ivory-
👍
Very solid game! You did a great job overall!
I really enjoyed this, your art style is really fun
I really liked the art style and overall presentation. And even though I've seen couple of games with similar concept, here I really enjoyed the calmness of the whole process. Even though the jetpack is indeed out of control there was enough space for strategical thinking. Controls were responsive, restarts were swift :) I had a real pleasure playing this little gem. What I'd like to see more of is the motivation to go forward. Right now there's very little none beside the fact that game kind of expect you to :)
Love the 2.5D perspective that you've pulled off and how you have to be careful where you stand when the clock ticks down, can't just zoom your way through - really great work, well done :)
Thank you for playing!!
Lovely graphics, fun game! I included it in my GMTK Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
Thank you for taking the time to play it, Jupiter!
This game makes me go YES!
That's great to hear, thanks!
One of my favorite game of the jam!
Oh wow, that means a lot, thank you!!
Solid concept, with the timed jumps, saw one other game that used this mechanic. It would be more interesting if the game were faster paced I think. Keep at it!
Thank you! With the pacing, we also added in a speed up/slow down time mechanic if you hold LMB (speed up) or RMB (slow down) so you could more fine tune your actions - but it needed to be better portrayed to the player to be helpful. Thanks for the feedback :)
consistently broke (character became invisible) on the fourth screen
Hmm.. Sorry about that, really not sure what's going on there, from our testing and other tests we could consistently clear the whole game. Will take a look into this for after the jam closes.
I enjoyed this! The art is quite nice and the 2.5D perspective shifts were a nice touch. It was a bit frustrating though, timing the last couple of jumps without really knowing how much time I needed to fall far enough and then having to retrace my steps over a few screens.
Thanks for the feedback, sorry for the frustration towards the end though - hopefully gonna add a proper checkpoint system for each room after the jam ends :)
As expected knowing all you folks, the game looks, sounds, and plays brilliantly. Damn good job, y'all! I really sucked at timing some of the "jumps", and considering I have the platformer skills of a poorly-aged lemon, I'd say that's a good difficulty curve. Rad work, folks! :D
Haha thanks Jordan! I even have trouble with timing the jumps at points because the character is very weighty. Glad you enjoyed it and that we got the difficulty curve right! The big issue last year was with the difficulty so I've erred on the side of easiness, and that seems to work!
Beautiful looking game! The out of control jetpack turns a platformer into a thought provoking puzzle game. I love it! :)
Thank you for the feedback! Ayo and Lizzy's art is so good. I only wish I could have added more levels!
