This was really fun to play! Like wow I didn't expect everything to come together as much as it did and was super on point for theme as well. You managed to come up with a puzzle type that was really easy to understand but made me have to think every time. I really appreciated the fun lighthearted setting/characters as well. Thanks for the really fun experience!

How have you used the theme "Strength Lies in Differences" in your game?
First of all, it's in the title. In a more detailed sense, the theme also shows in the gameplay. The game is about differences. Quite literally, as we need to solve equations and figure how to calculate the difference between two values. Strength is also definitely featured as well, as that is your first power. Pure strength allows you to move number boxes, and put them in answer slots. But that is not enough to proceed in the game. In order to be able to escape the dungeon, you need different powers that come from different people you can rescue in the dungeon. Together, you can solve the complex puzzles scattered around the levels of SLID!

Oh man, this is so good! I really loved playing this. The music and SFX worked so well with the art style and the opening cutscene set the tone and expectations really well in a few sentences.
It reminded me of Chip's Challenge meets Math Rescue, two of my childhood favourites - look them up! And you combined them so so well with the theme and put them into a beautifully presented package. Much love for the FF7 UI too, it was clean and it worked.
5 stars for sure. :)
I really enjoyed this one quite a bit.
Played it all the way to the end.
I happen to be someone who likes both math and Sokoban style games. I even suggested to my team we make a Sokoban-type game as one option.
Thank you for playing our game! The Sokoban mix and match idea didn't come to us straight away. The original idea was related to party members you discover in your run in a dungeon crawler type game that will help you survive for a longer period of time. We were able to extract some of the original idea and it shows in the final submission.
Hey, very funny game! Kept me thinking without getting bored at all, I'm still smiling. The music is very nice as well the design of the puzzles. I believe this would be a very funny way of teaching maths! I liked it very much.
There was something glitchy with the movement, though I don't know if it was only on my PC as I did not see this bug happening in the stream. Player stops its movement from time to time and then it fixes its position on screen, like teleporting, but again, I did not see this bug on the stream, so maybe there is only my PC...
Please keep me posted about future levels! I would really love to play more of this, I surely be sharing with my friends and students (I'm a math teacher)
Best regards!
Made my brain sing and groan. My favourite entry so far. Not really anything else to add. I had to stop myself from carrying on so that I could rate some others in the time I have today but could have happily carried on playing for a long time. I am also going to get my Kids to play it, as I know it will be good for them maths wise. It is a gift. Thanks. Viva maths
Great. Well although my entry is not a maths game in it's game play, it is all grid based maths under the hood. No physics or collision involved. The maths to get the water falling right literally made my head pop and is why lots of stuff is missing and does not work. Just spent a bit of time fixing problems today and it's so much better already with very little effort. The power of a clear mind and a good nights sleep!
So... which game studio is going to immediately hire the person who made that music? I liked the mix of numeric and spatial reasoning puzzles. Definitely got near the end and briefly thought to myself, "How the heck do I add 5 to this number?"
...
You made me math so hard I forgot that I could just, you know, add 5.

Great stuff! I wasn't expecting that many puzzles but I'm glad you've managed to put them in!
wow I really wasn't expecting to play a math game for as long as I did these puzzles were really well designed great job!!
Great use of the theme, very polished game considering the time constraints. I found it a bit confusing that the first guy you get has a reset power that is of no use early on, probably would've allowed all knights to move the boxes and give the reset power to the original hero.
Having said that, it was surprisingly addictive, I didn't want to spend more than 20-30 minutes with one game so I have time to review as much as possible, but this one sucked me in and I was still pushing boxes around an hour later... :)
Got a bit repetitive by about the 3rd level as it's essentially the same puzzle with small variations in every room, but I can certainly imagine how the idea could be expanded to add a lot more variation. The menu music is awesome and the background art is great too. Excellent work all round!
Had a lot of fun playing the game and wished I could have made it further in but that being said was a lot of fun and very well done. Best of luck.
This is a great little puzzle game. I thought the use of coloured tiles and numbered blocks was clever, and the different powers added layers to the puzzle solving.
The music and sound design was great too, very nostalgic.
Really well thought out puzzles! got through the second level, but had to stop due to my brain being a puddle after coding all week xD
Overall and really well made and very good puzzles ♥
Had a great time, but I couldn't pass after we went downstairs. I don't know if I didn't make it, or if there was something missing.
