Easy to grasp mechanics that get very challenging very quickly! You managed to add a lot of levels for a jam, great job! It's great that you mentioned the slightly slower initial loading!
The Unity engine progress bar seems to freeze at about 80% mark. Unfortunately, I can't run this game in my browser. Using older hardware, Firefox browser and Linux.
it does indeed take quite a while to load I’m not too sure why. But I did manage to get it to run on my phone (it cuts out certain UI elements on landscape and on portrait you can barely see the other planets) but it’s definitely playable. I also managed to run it on chrome on my bad laptop (4gb ram) is windows however so I’m not too sure. Either try play on phone it’s definitely playable and you do get the full experience in my opinion or maybe try wait longer. thanks for trying anyways!
Flying a rocket to other planets is always a nice expierience. Thanks for this submission!
Good work. I like how you took a simple concept, bouncing from one planet to another, and ran with it, expanded it and managed to make 10 different levels. Virtually all of which were too difficult for me! The UI was simple, worked well and fitted with the overall design.
As feedback I guess I would say, make it easier! :-) I think a restart button would be useful so I can destroy the rocket and start again quicker. Perhaps have an bought upgrade so we can see the curved path a firing route would take, but only allowed to be used once. You have to play a certain number of levels to afford to buy it again.
Hmm not sure if it's just me but game doesn't work for me :( Loading bar gets stuck on 90%. I will come back this again later and try again
It looks great and 10 levels is a lot, especially since I fail to even finish level 1. Maybe the first level(s) don't need the added difficulty of the asteroids, since aiming is hard enough already (well at least for me apparently).
Are there any other controls besides launching and boosting?
Nice visuals, fits the theme well, but a bit too difficult for me. Nice entry!
I like it! very interesting! I would love to have some "break mechanism", not only boost. I got stuck in level 2 after you past the 2 "black holes"? I was expecting some gravitational force to move and so on.
The camera could remain more static and only move when the rocket goes out of certain area (lets say a quarter from the center. It feels rare to keep rotating with the rocket.
Very interesting mechanics, quite fun to experiment, but I failed a lot (skill issue here). Loved the aesthetics and design of the planets..
Very interesting game. I like the art design you went with it and how the game work. The thing is I felt it was too hard for me once i reach level 2. I couldn't figure out how you were suppose to get past some of those black holes. Were you suppose to boost close to them or some other way. Still i did like the idea of timing your rocket right with the spin and then sending it off to each planet while avoiding the asteroids and all. Very interesting job.
Yeah I should have definitely cleared things up. The orange and yellow blackholes allow you to slightly orbit with it. it was mentioned in the game description but i did have a lot of words there so that is my fault. and yeah level 2 onwards is really hard should've gradually increased difficulty with the levels.
I like it, I think it has a lot of potential! For me I it would be better if you die and retry faster, as I the difficulty makes it so that I will die a lot of times so even a tiny improvement goes a long way. An specific suggestion on this part would be to make sure the player can fire their first jump relatively quickly. So maybe starting something like a quarter rotation from the correct launch position. But again, I really like it, simple and fun!
It is a pretty nice game. Would love to have a better way to tell exactly where I'm going before I launch, like a short dotted line saying when I launch, I will go this direction. Kept misjudging
I really liked the aesthetics, the camera movement, how the planets are rotating.
A failed to complete the first level, skill issue :-)
Good work!
I liked how the camera shows the other levels. A bit too diffcult for me but it's a skill issue on my part. Great game
